I worked as the print specialist. I was responsible for seeking new clients, explaining the production process, providing quotes and samples, setting up artwork and preparing the screens. I was in charge of small teams, generally 2-3 people, and was responsible for ensuring they had proper equipment, knowledge and direction when beginning a printing job. Hardest part was keeping an upbeat while still relaxed environment. If my employees were in a bad mood or distracted, it would show in their completed work. Maintaining a balance between work and fun generally kept my employees happy and working efficiently. I enjoyed watching projects all the way through from inception to completion. This gave me a feeling of satisfaction and accomplishment that I haven't found at many other job sites.

Personally this job has given me great opportunities due to the fact that I was able to do it while I was in school. However, the upper management is a wreck, and the pay structure for CM's is awful. I was one of the top grossing sales people in the country, and yet I was still only making 7% commission, which is the same as every other CM in the country, even though I was doing the work of 10 CM's and my boss got promoted with a pay increase of 50% due to my sales. While my boss was great, her boss and their upper management team are a hot mess who are unapologetic about their own missteps. The internal team is also not the most supportive group I have ever encountered and have been known to create more issues than if they were to do their jobs correctly the first time. Overall, this job gave me great experience and provided me with plenty of opportunities to see how I would like my employers going forward to operate.

I started as a Campus Manager while I was in college, and it ended up being one of the most valuable professional experiences I could have asked for as a student. It gave me real exposure to sales, relationship-building, client management, design conversations, pricing, and the full custom apparel process from start to finish.

What I appreciated most was that the role actually felt entrepreneurial. I wasn’t just doing busy work or following a script. I was building my own book of business, managing relationships with fraternities, sororities, and campus organizations, and learning how to close real deals with real clients. That kind of hands-on experience is hard to find in a typical college job.

Was great experience for college students to get a first hand look at running a business and being in charge of every step of the process when it comes to reaching out to potential clients and making sure you maintain a good relationship with these clients and follow through until orders are secured. They also stressed maintaining a relationship with the clients once the orders were already made.

The culture is phenomenal. Employees live and breathe the company principles. It is an extraordinary experience to be surrounded by brilliant minds and outstanding artists. The top management is perfect, the associates are super competitive, and everything in between is simply amazing.  As a manager, there is nothing more you can ask for as all keys and tools will be given to you. As an artist, if you hold yourself to a high standard then you are a perfect fit!

I worked remotely and was payed based of commission. They trained me and mentored me so I knew what I was doing. They were very flexible with me and understood that I was a college student. Very positive and goal focused company. I just don’t like being payed based off commission, I like a more structured and guaranteed pay.

Everyone always checked in and wanted to make sure you were successful and confident in your work. They were always available for questions about anything, even everyday life. This company has prepared me for the fast paced work environment. I loved being able to help customers with their orders.

If you want something to boost your resume and learn more about marketing and sales and how an apparel company/ a supply chain works, then do it. But unless you are at a big school you're not gonna make much money 

Great company that allows flexible schedule during the school year to contact clients at own convenience. This has been a great intro into sales strategy providing an understanding of new client acquisition, issue management and client turnover, network growth.

Fresh Prints was such a good experience for me as a college student! When looking for jobs I always went back to an experience with fresh prints! The mentors are awesome and always guide you. You also naturally get to know more people on campus because you get to work with them
