Its a 9AM - 5PM call center sales job. They give you extensive training within 2 weeks, than you are on the floor taking call for 30 days in training. Then you are chosen by another manager based on your calls / attendance/ sales. Then you work to make money, that is it. Commission is payed out the following month, on top of your weekly pay. spiffs every check, if you're good at what you do. 

I did this before, so I didn't learn anything new, beside every company works with different programs.

Did I state, this is a call center? I recommend, if you worked in any call center before then you know about gossip. please do not be entertained by gossip on the floor, it always leads to problems. 

Worst part is the pay sucks, I wish the gave raises to agents based on your great calls / attendance/ sales LIKE EVERY 6 MONTHS or something but they don't. Each call you take the customer gets a survey, hopefully the rate your great or three bad rating they will replace you.But you can't be upset ITS A BUSINESS.

My management is great no issues. I communicate with the right people at the right time. I come to work... to work, no play or gossip. No paid lunches, they do not match your 410k, offer dental,health, life insurance ect.

Hardest part working here, is the systems/programs to be honest they really need to update. The systems/programs are slow, old and when everyone in the building is using the same one, it slows down and keep you on the phone longer then needed.

Best part I leave at 5pm sometimes 4pm if calls are slow. weekly pay.

If offered a job here, run.  Run far away!!!  From the time of interview until the time of start date is a nightmare.  Total confusion!!  The start date given was not adhered to.  Training is incomplete and does not supply new hires with necessary knowledge to give the customer service a customer should get.  
When time to go on the floor and take calls, existing workers were upset because they were uprooted in the middle of their shifts and moved to other desks.  It took two hours before people got settled and many new people were not equipped to take calls because systems was not set up.
Just three days in, I realized how unequipped I was to assist customers and getting help was even more a disaster.  The people who were suppose to assist looked like they were just as confused as me.
I am sorry I ever committed to work here.  I need to find a more normal place to work,
People come to work like they were going to sleep, or dressed for going anywhere but work.  I find the culture here very disturbing and people without work ethic coming and going when they feel like it.  Then those who do work and adhere to the rules getting penalized for the wrongs of others.
Also the smell of week is overwhelming.

This company put me through three interviews hired me in. I knew I was overqualified, but I still took the position. Only for them a week later to tell me that the position was canceled. Then I get a call months later because they asked to keep me on the list since I did so well in my interviews, and they offered me another position, I go through the interview again go through doing the assessments show up for training. The first day I showed up for a training I was early and listen to management and other employees talk and they were trying to figure out who was going to train us because two managers had called off.  They were actually going to cancel the training last minute, but it was so close to the start time they did not. We worked that day. It was promised that we would be paid for that day to this day weeks later, I still have yet to receive that pack. The class ended up getting canceled again because nobody would train us. I got offered another position from them, even though I was not interested because this is the second position that was canceled  and then they start communicating with me all together after not paying me for the previous position. 

Your day starts with being present 5 minutes early and get your station set up and ready to assist your customers. You are on inbound calls for the majority of an 8 hour day, company provides an hour lunch and 2 paid breaks. Shifts are flexible and vary from 6 a.m. to 9p.m. I learned in my time there how to navigate through multiple systems and internet while talking to a customer and filling out an order. So simply lots of multitasking. Co-workers are generally nice and most of the time they all want to help each other. The biggest hurdle in the job for an agent is to get used to a flow and have it changed about every 3 months. On the upper levels the hurdle were with management changes. The great parts were when we all succeeded as a team and had time to congratulate each other on a job well done.

A typical day at work includes being micromanaged and managers yelling at you all day and screaming on the floor because they do not know how to control their emotions. Everyday they change the structure of the job without any training or meeting to properly update everyone. There is a huge communication issue due to management not knowing how to properly communicate to employees. The company will at anytime come up with something bogus that employees never agreed to just to withheld bonuses without any prior warning or communication. Management nor Hr respects any  valid/ proper documentation that supports any leave or doctors note. Management does not care if you have an emergency, they will literally call your phone and harass you and threaten to terminate you if you sick and can’t come in or if you have to leave due to an emergency. That’s just some of the issues. There is even more

While working on the phone as a sale's rep we were continuously told to break FCC regulations. "It is them that eat or you". Training consists of learning a script and being thrown to the floor where you are bombarded by hundreds of calls per day. This compounds with the fact that training does not include how to write up an order and what we could and couldn't help customers with. The management is sub par and are merely in their position because they are "Yes Men" to the current president.

Every Morning the day is started being yelled at and numerous times I witnessed them belittling or degrading someone for most of their "Morning Meeting". Commission is pretty nonexistent due to older reps stealing deals. Every so often the customer complaints back up, they find one person to pin it on and then proceed to fire them.

Also any reason they can find, they dock your pay. It is an okay place to work if you can find NO OTHER work. If you possibly have other options I would go with them.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company micromanages horribly. They give you incentives that are nearly impossible to meet so the pay is horrible for the amount of stress they entail.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
In office is micromanaged, you can’t have drinks or food at your desk. You are cold all the time and not allowed to bring any kind of anything to keep you warmer. Restroom breaks are possible, but you get in trouble if you take more than one or two.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You start your day out by fighting to get into your computer and then get yelled at for not being on the phones by your schedule time. Your brakes are structured but not evenly across your shift so the end of your day is very long versus the beginning of your day, it has all of your breaks.

outbound sales rep. This company is absolutely horrible. Let me start by saying the managers are immature and very unprofessional. They will play favorites, talk horribly about other employees, and will manage by FEAR. They will abuse the use of write-ups. Such as write up employees for NOT WASHING THERE HANDS, or writing you up for not "filing your seat" when you had valid reasons notes for the appointments. The list goes on... The company constantly changes there way of paying employees and will randomly drop you to minimum wage. The will mess with commission as well as not give it to you at all. The easiest part of the job was taking/making calls. The hardest part of the job is constantly taking the "put downs" and non motivational speeches where they embarrass they're employees in meetings. As well as mislead you and say they promote from within and when you ask to do more even at same pay rate, they say no.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nothing. bad management, cheating in hours, and changing policies like changing disposable food plates. Offered a pay rate, then changed in the middle of training month, to a lower amount. The worst company I ever worked for.

the level of education and culture of coworkers. they hire anyone out of anywhere

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
There is a crude, prejudiced attitude toward people who can be perceived as being resident aliens by the supposed management. I was called names, I was hit in the head by one of them because I was taking a proactive approach to my function. yeah, better not describe what happened. people need to keep honest with themselves. very unhealthy environment

I had to work really hard to get to where I am now. If it weren't for the commission I would have looked for another job as what they ask from you to get everyday in numbers is too much for little pay. They rank a number from the top agent and expect you to get the same stats as that agent or they'll gut you. 

Always changing rules from people who aren't on the phones who don't know what it's like (maybe too many bosses is the problem). One highly annoying thing is the repetitious music that plays all day over and over again. Change the genre of music or just leave an actual radio on and not a hand selected playlist of the same 10 songs on loop. Not everyone likes to listen to hip hop all day. Compared to most call centers this one is a lot more lax however and very generous (but once again, only if you're at the top. If you aren't they'll quickly replace you.).
