This company cannot find its way out of a wet paper bag. One of the biggest excuses they like to throw around is that they are a start-up company. That excuse only works for so many years before that phrase becomes irrelevant. As a company that was founded in 2016, they hide behind this excuse like they started yesterday.

 Things are constantly all over the place with policies and responsibilities literally changing weekly, if not daily. When they roll out new clients or processes training is half-hazard at best (if you even get any), and often times changes aren't even announced until they are already in place and you receive a patient call and run around blind trying to find out how to handle it.

For the work that is expected of them, the employees, specifically customer service, aren't paid nearly enough. 

Not counting the huge amount of employee layoffs that have happened recently, the amount of people leaving every week is at least 2 or 3. People are scared to stay and the company doesn't seem to be bothered by this fact either as the few employees that have been unfortunate enough to stay continue to drown, and they do nothing to help or even try and incentivize them to remain.

Management is truly hit or miss with some trying their hardest and others not knowing what they are doing or where to go. The few employees that know what they are doing aren't given the time of day, so things continue to crash and burn with management wondering "why?"

As a current employee I personally cannot wait to be through with this company.

You'll get along with your working class for the most part. Management, your leads and HR are not on your side ever. You will be expected to do everything and ask no questions, while your leads are walking around chatting, laughing or gossiping about one thing or another. God forbid you, as an average worker, laugh or speak for too long. Unless you're management, you'll be working in an unorganized assembly line-esque environment. You will constantly be asked to work overtime, whether you want to or not. They will threaten your job if you refuse to, or can't. They are not understanding when you need time off and it can be very difficult to use your PTO because your requests will often go unnoticed unless you nag someone for days on end. There is a clear hierarchy at this job and you will be made to feel less than very often. It has the dynamics of a mean girls sitcom and if you try to suggest something or move up the ladder, it will be made abundantly clear to you if you are not friendly with the bullies on top that you are not good enough. They continue to promote under qualified, ill suited and unprofessional people just because they sit at the same lunch table or because they're the same race. 

Where do I begin? The assigned work is trite but simple. It has the potential to be very rewarding given the right incentives and direction from upper management . Unfortunately, the culture and the leaders it’s bred make this job insufferable. Instead of layoffs,  since there’s been endless of them for years, there seems to be a new tactic of  just cutting hours incessantly. Everyday as a full time employee you sign in and around midday are asked to leave early with no pay,  or forced to use your PTO. On top of this, management lacks leadership skills, lacks communication skills and honestly lacks respect for their employees. The team is micromanaged horribly. The environment is rigid and hoggish. There’s no motivation or encouragement to advance in the company.  The good aspects are that it’s remote (albeit you are asked to not have your children in your own home, while working) and has good benefits but very hard to enjoy these “benefits” when the job feels so precarious. 

DO NOT WORK HERE. 
Everything their page says that they value as a company is a complete lie. 
Management is rude, does not listen to feedback, plays favorites, treats everyone else like pieces of garbage. They dismiss you the second you say one word. 
Workflow has no logical delegation, people who mgmt are "scared" of get to do whatever they want and the rest of us juggle 5 different things a day.
You're not allowed to talk, unless again, you're a favorite.
THERE IS NO OPPORTUNITY FOR GROWTH.
Positive feedback DOES NOT EXIST. Even if you hit (arbitrary nonsense) metrics, you will still be criticized, so there's no motive or incentive to make an effort.
Does not pay enough for how poorly we are treated, and how WE, the people "on the floor" keep this branch afloat while mgmt takes a million vacations and brag about them in front of us, sit in a million "meetings" per day, not actually doing any type of job.

Management: Can’t trust em’, both founders were removed by the board and not only were unable to fill their capacities, they trusted the wrong and installed the wrong people. Company has high turnover, mass exoduses (good and bad), and multi round  “lay offs”. 

The remaining folks suffer from the business politics, lack of accountability, and poor leadership. Leading to lack of trust and transparency throughout the company, elimination of raises, bonuses, and “unlimited PTO”  as the company continues to spiral out of control. 

People: You meet and get to work with some amazing people, but you also see and hear about very worse of people. Overall, you need to learn how navigate it yourself or rely on how well your step up  manager does it or you’re done for.

Mission: It started with a great notion but boils down to profits which they have failed at achieving and constant churn of exploiting employees. Just ask anyone that was an employee on LinkedIn and you’ll hear for yourself.

They track everything you do down to secconds. This company requires you to scan QR codes whenever a med is picked up or put down and at every station you move to. Be prepared to do everything whether you are a rph or tech if you work in production. Unless you were hired full-time, expect hours and/or shifts to be reduced without warnings. There is always something to do. If you are done with today's work, you have to do filling for tomorrow. On top of this, you have to reply to tons of Slack messages in dozens of chat rooms b/c this is how their employees correspond. The location is supposed to be a mail order pharmacy but customers can pick up on demand so you have to get the order ready within a timeframe or the pharmacy gets dinged for performance. Pay is just average. Benefits are minimal. I felt like a warehouse worker and did not learn anything so I left before losing the skills I already had lol. I heard a bunch of people quit later too.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Upper management has zero knowledge on how to run and operate a startup. On top of not knowing what to do, they brought in their “buddies” from CVS, and everything went downhill from there. They had first mover advantage but failed to capitalize on it and continued to lose valuable business partners. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment and culture was amazing before CVS mentality started sprouting. Everyone was willing to help and share the workload, but now it’s a complete train wreck. Everyone has a floater mentality and I don’t blame them. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
The typical day is different from most retail pharmacies. I cannot disclose

I have seen very few companies as of recent in healthcare have a mission to care for others but not include their staff in their vision. How do you expect people to be highly caring for others and what they do but are not considerate to any degree that policies are just fancy worded prison sentences. 
There are companies that have figured out how to do both. This company has not just yet. 
Many teams under one roof, a variety of projects, the concept is phenomenal but an injustice due to micromanagement. Coworkers wear each other out calling out each other's mistakes. Not healthy at all.

I enjoyed company’s mission and the people I worked with, but there’s massive and frequent changes in policy and nobody ever knows what’s happening. They constantly changed policies and then recanting them either the same day or the next day. They schedule surprise 1 on 1 meetings. They’re very unclear about how they want you to manage and maintain your metrics while just expecting you to blindly adhere. 

They provide a bonus during your onboarding to build your home office which is nice. They also pay about $60/ month at the end of the month to help offset your internet bill. Managers are nice and it’s easy to request off. But as someone who’s disabled, they do not make their ADA policies known and you really have to go looking to figure it out. 

I work remote in the pharmacy department and this feels like high school , people want to prove that they are higher than the other , lack of teamwork. I feel overly qualified and way too professional for this job. Just be aware they will undercut you if management doesn’t like you . If they feel you have years of experience they will try to keep you stagnant and make the people with no pharmacy experience do more things so they can feel superior. Honestly the pay is good, working from home is nice, but this job is a joke, I shouldn’t have to beg to be involved in more tasks especially when I have years of experience in this field and I won’t.
