What is the best part of working at the company?
My recruiter is the best!  He always looks out for me and answers my texts, calls and questions promptly.  I always feel like he has my back. Also, healthcare plan and 401k/Roth IRA savings are provided if you so desire. There are plenty of referral bonuses, longevity bonuses and monetary rewards.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Agency work has it pros and cons.  You don't have to get involved in the day to day BS if you don't want to. But, unfortunately, some facilities have staff who don't appreciate your presence ( you get the best shifts and you're making twice as much as they are) They can be nasty.  You'll need thick skin.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
friendly, helpful, positive. The whole process is easy- they use a paper timesheet  that the employee fills out, gets it signed by a supervisor, and faxes it to Genie once a week.  It's great getting paid weekly! They don't harp on you, complain that you're doing something they don't like or judge you.  My recruiter is my only real connection and I can trust him.

shift work at whatever facility Genie has set up for you

Your pay was mostly correct, sometimes.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Communication with recruiters is HORRIBLE. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The recruiters try to bully you into taking contracts you don't want. They've told me I wasn't permitted to take time off inbetween contracts because that's 'just not how travel works', tried to get me to extend by saying if I didn't sign the extension, after is recieved a WAY better offer with another agency that the facility 'would black ball me'. You name it. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Going to do my 3 12s, hoping I don't need my recruiter for anything because it's not as though they respond.

What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part is working for a  company  who shows concern for their  employees and the client they serve. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Like any job there is stress. The stressful part is not having your recruiter on site  with you and having to leave messages and feel like you are playing tag. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I really  enjoyed  the people  I worked with and there was a feeling  of working together as a team.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Each day was different. When dealing with  people a lot plays into what kind of day you were going to have. Which definitely  made it fun

The staff is very polite and friendly. The staff went above and beyond to help locate contacts. I'm currently still working with the agency, I think. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
This goes alongside with being with agencies, I've heard this from alot of others, regular staff at facility are very rude and unhelpful,  not all, if we stand up for ourselves,  then we are the problem. Our agency sometimes don't back us up.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I've met my employer's in person or otherwise. That is, I think, a con for me.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Travel CNA, so I worked for facilities  on contracts.

Their drive to find you the best-paying assignments available.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
None. The company was helpful through everything. They were the first travel nursing company I worked for and they were great.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I really cant answer this as I worked as a travel nurse for them. I did not work at their main office as a staff member.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
This also does not apply unless you work at their main office. As a travel nurse, there are many shifts available which included days/nights/8 hr or 12hr shifts.

My recruiter was communicative and responsive. My contracts were always as discussed. I felt the company had my back and was on the side of their staff. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
In contract nursing you're in a new environment with new people often learning new skill set.

I was a  contract travel nurse so I cannot comment on what it was like to work in office. I was never there nor neveret anyone on person.

Dependent upon contract. I worked in hospitals AND LTC/SNF

The weekly pay, and convenience.

Not knowing if you'll have another contract

Not sure at the company, all my connection has been over the phone 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Similar to being a new employee somewhere but like all the time because you go facility to facility and it's kind of fend for your self no orientation is every given, which as agency your use to. But I will say my recruiter has been very nice and always responds quickly.

I am currently working with genie and I LOVE IT! My recruitor is always very responsive/helpful even on a weekend he immidately answers any questions my first day on site he checked in to make sure I was able to get in okay for orientation even before going in he made sure I was all set for my start date! we the highest competitive pay I’ve not found another contract yet that compares-im very happy with this agency! This is only my experience but as a whole im 3 weeks away from finishing my contract and if I can I plan to stay with genie.

This place is a joke!!! The only time you get a hold of anyone within this company is when you don’t have their time sheet on time. BUT if you need anything such as wrong pay from payroll or an issue on the job, your recruiter isn’t there to help you. Anything that involves your issues with anything, they don’t care. Plus payroll is an issue, shortening your pay, putting the wrong hours, paying you for the wrong hours. The only good thing is the pay rate but other than that, if you come across any issues, good luck trying to reach anyone who will listen or even your recruiter. 

Con, benefits are expensive. but the pay rate is good enough if you choose to pay, you wont starve. My recruiter has been great. well involved, checks in, found me best place/pay for my qualifications.  He always answers my questions or points me in right direction since im new to this.  days off are planned before start. beyond that it is up to facility. my recruiter did make it possible to taken10 days off to get my granddaughter between contracts out of state. no complaints here!
