It was a job period. But being that I had a illness myself I felt for the people in need so I never wanted rush my order picking because the patients need there healing products which I have a heart for but I was told many times that I was going to receive bonuses which sometimes I did and sometimes I didn’t which also I was told I would get a rise and was never given to me I guess because the company seen me do a lot of overtime to prep stock and many other things as well so I thought to myself there taking advantage of the situation of me in someway don’t get me wrong it was a good opportunity but you shouldn’t mess with employees heads saying there going to receive things for hard work but then don’t follow thru with there words. But besides that at most times I would say they can’t keep up with demand as far a products go and if your not part of the upper positions then yes they would let u go in a heartbeat if you get into non-filter mode about speaking your about things you learn about the company but let me make myself clear there are some very nice people there well maybe 2-3 and they know who they are but you guys got to step up your game or just let medline take over . And also I went above and beyond with my own money and bought supplies to keep up with the place to show (As far as keeping it clean) I appreciate my job and my worth instead I got black lash for that . And I have been in the warehouse industry for sometime now so I know a thing or two. Thank you for reading.

I like working here, but over time it has gotten stressful. People leave and are not replaced, ask for more people, we are told not for this department. We have grown so much with less people and upper management just wants more and more from us. 
The is a division in all aspects of our company, upper management- cream of the crop. Middle management - hands are tied. Office workers - they are minions. They are expected not to socialize with the warehouse workers. Production employees have no reason to be in the office area and the expectation is that we stay out because we are warehouse employees. 
If you can't resolve a problem and you have been through the right channels, DO NOT go to the Big Guy, you walk into his office you are escorted off company property, it is totally frowned upon.
As far as the Big Guy is concerned, he is not bad to work for, he buys lunch every Friday and we appreciate this, he gives a yearly bonus which we truly are grateful for. But, there are many issues that need to be resolved and I believe, although not totally sure, that he is not aware of them.
It's as though he is kept in total darkness unless the situation can't be hidden.
There are great, hard working people on the production team and we should be recognized and concerns need to be addressed and resolved. 
This place could be one of the best places to work if all the issues from office personnel to the 2nd and 3rd class warehouse employees were treated like they mean something more than just a seat that is filled and replaceable at the drop of a dime.

A good place if you’re looking for experience on your resume but if the last reviews here are any indication it’s not worth it. In my opinion the company is growing too quickly to correct pervasive issues in its culture. I’ve seen people move to other departments and then get pulled by their former managers to help out with various projects. Upper management would spring projects on us last minute with unreasonable time constraints. The overall culture is very reactive. Instead of planning things in advance we were constantly tying up loose ends from past projects that never got finished. The executives I’ve helped out were clueless with technology and don’t understand how understaffed their IT infrastructure is and how it negatively impacts their business. It felt like there was no loyalty in my department. I showed up every day on time, worked through lunch, and never called out the first year. Despite this, people on my team who did the bare minimum and had less knowledge than me were paid more. Then when I finally got a promotion/raise I was told a new member of our team with less experience deserved the same pay as me. You get five days of vacation for the year and when you start it’s only after the first six months. I felt like I had no life outside of work. I eventually quit and found a company who valued my talent. My advice is to get the experience and go, this place may not be around forever.

Like any business, they are concerned with revenue. However, quality and compliance are foremost qualities that they look for, and they're very careful about who they hire. Bottom line — they understand the importance and necessity of wound care services. During my time here, I've seen how the company values being respectful of colleagues and customers. It's a very competitive arena, and Gentell has experienced continued success because of their customer service. Working here has given me a feel for doing the right thing when collaborating with our customers. The company tries to minimize travel for employees but it's definitely a position where you need to be there and be present as the clinical educator. COVID was very challenging for our customers, and we had the support to stay safe and keep our customers safe by following COVID restrictions/guidelines. Ultimately, I'm proud of my job because I get to help residents heal and, as an educator, I'm able to provide optimal wound care guidance. Plus, even as Gentell continues to grow as a company, they encourage growth in their employees and keep the communication process uncomplicated so that you will feel heard and things will get done.



Nothing they tell you at your interview is true. The negative reviews are 100% true. I highly recommend taking other opportunities, because working for this company will not only waste your time, but destroy your mental.( Not because it is hard but because it is chaotic)

“The management and ownership at Gentell consist of great people who work hard to create a pleasant working environment and always strive to do what's best for the business.” This is false, there are some great people but out of a management group of 50 only a few are actually great leaders. Sadly those are not the ones at the top. Upper management and ownership are far from pleasant to work for. 

“Gentell offers an amazing benefits package, including premiums for individuals paid at 100% for health and dental, with a very small premium per paycheck for Vision.” This is true, but so do many other employers, and they will even include direct deposit ( to which you will not get here).

Also I hope you are satisfied with your starting pay because raises are rare and your dignity must be low to survive.

I was so excited when I received my new job opportunity so that I could finally escape this dreadful place.  From what I heard the environment has only worsened as they try to transition from a small business to a “corporation”. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Gentell has been the best company I have worked for, and my experience over the past four years has been truly rewarding. The work culture is exceptional, respectful, and strongly focused on employee well-being. What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Exceptional, the staff comes together as a team to get the job done

First let me say this review has been long overdue. I left the company in 2022 due to lack of advancement opportunities. I was employed for 3 years. Lots of turn over due to false promises at interview. Had enough and when I gave a 30 days notice they just fired then.
Managers are only concerned about the profit they receive from your hard work, no raises EVER-if you get a promise of one that is exactly what it is! Evaluation are not completed on time if completed at all-because they dont give raises. Managers get a share of your profit but you dont get any additional compensation. Company trying to achieve a "Google" type environment but sooo fake with it. You are told at the beginning you will have a work life balance but truthfully you work all day everyday even on vacation if you can get one. You are expected to work during vacation as well. You are judged solely on your revenue produced. Company shows favoritism to those who make top 10 list others dont matter. Stay away-all is not what it seems! 

This company is very disorganized!! It is commonplace to be hired for one position and then to be given multiple other jobs to do within your first month of starting. The manager of the Revenue Cycle Department does not seem to know what she is doing and frequently disregards emails and questions that are directed her way. The pay is very low! The billing department is frequently pressured to work overtime during the week and then pressured to take home a laptop and work over the weekend as well. There is a lot of pressure for employees to do their own jobs as well as duties that are the responsibility of other people because the company refuses to hire enough people to get all of the work done. Deadlines are often unreasonable because they are given sometimes at the last minute and other times there are simply not enough people put on a project to get it done in the time frame that it needs to be finished. 

Horrible place to work for.
Billing mgr is a miserable unfriendly person. Never communicates with her team nor says good morning etc. She has her favorites.  They are the ones she allows in her office to goof off and do nothing  the billing mgr does not ever give you praise or a nice compliment  she has unrealistic goals to be met .she has no compassion or sympathy for anyone . That dept has a huge turn around . Not sure why mgmt or the owner do not see it. People leave because of her abuse. She thinks being a mgr she's better than everyone.  The work area is a very hostile environment.  Co workers are not the friendliest.  
Grant it some are very nice and friendly. 
I was warned by many not to work here but I thought it's their opinion.  I should've taken their advice.  Do not work here. It will mentally drain you. . Cause you anxiety.  Work is repetitive.  It's boring.. a monkey can do it . So sad an owner allows this to happen . Glad I'm out 

No clear goals or expectations set for field (nursing) staff.
No annual reviews.
No company car. 
No mileage paid only reimbursement for gas.
No company credit cards. Must cover all meals and expenses while on the road. Reimbursement for some things but expect a 3 month turn around time. 
Minimal education regarding Gentell products & availability.
Limited education provided on current wound care guidelines based on CMS regulations for treatment. 
High turnover at corporate office delaying orders and changing facility reorder dates that are based on a 28-day Medicare calendar. Expect to be the face of that disappointment for your customers. 
PTO/sick time provided however nobody to cover your territory if you need to take this time. 
Company paid insurance plan that boasts a typical 80/20 coverage plan however the insurance company will not cover any claims they deem unnecessary. See EBMS.
