Management & Training is ok but consists of a few women that thrive off of attention unrelated to the curriculum, I.e. both the head TRAINER & Atlanta Office Manager. They will attempt to communicate with you based off of how they feel about you. Meaning if they are fond of your photo or on screen presence, they will attempt to seek your attention more often that usual for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING other that to share screen time. 

The Bougie members of the management staff are easily identified by the love of listening of their own voice, how they cut you off without allowing a thought or question to be finished, and the authoritarian tone they take if a individual has a question about the subject matter while they are "Instructing."  

The training itself is pretty much trial and error with no REAL curriculum or outline in place. Just video, do as the video said do, then review. Afterwards, if you are unable to recall what the video said word for word, you are placed in a "Lower Tier" Classroom setting, Basically to see who is more familiar with the work or not.

Leadership should consist of individuals that are keen to listen ATTENTIVELY at least 70% of the time, while knowing when to interject and while doing so, respectfully.

 Management request "one-on-one" meetings, yet ambush you with two or more individuals on their screens which immediately puts you in a defensive or cornered mindset. In the beginning, they say they request one-on-one meetings to access the team member's needs and to make sure your work environment is secure. Then instead of asking is there something you may need assistance with or is everything alright, they begin issuing a list of complaints from the other members of management. 

***I still have the silent question to ask as to how can management consistently have complaints about team members that are personal if we are in a VIRTUAL WORK SETTING, it isnt relative to the work, and there isnt any negative performance to gauge???***

The CEO and VP of Call Center Management BOTH need to take a closer look at the individuals they have running remote operations for Pennsylvania and Nevada. It has given them a "Green Light" to create a unconscious TOXIC VIRTUAL WORK ENVIORNMENT where they are allowed to just do the bare minimum for the satisfaction of their weekly work objectives to please the CEO & VPs.

 The daniLEADelle TRAINER and ATL OFFICE elMANAGERla both have the sense of entitlement that has the company loosing morale and qualified employees. There also may be a conflict of interest being that the HR MANAGER and ATLANTA OFFICES MANAGER ARE RELATIVES.

 Employees CANNOT go to HR with any issues without the Manager knowing every detail and giving them the "HEADS UP" before hand. This Allows the elManagerla to spin things the way she wants it without restriction. Considering Legal Action.

I was shocked when I got hired during my Zoom interview on the spot with no questions asked (literally) and was excited. Training lasted for three weeks and the trainer was nice and friendly, but with a large group, learning mostly on your own, and playing stupid/competitive games got very boring and annoying. Didn't help with learning either. It also didn't help that we never got a full hands-on experience with the computer - looking at the notes and procedures before starting the job. That was only made available on the first day on the floor, so navigating under pressure was difficult. Never shadowed anybody and after training we were thrown right onto the floor. It was the first day of open enrollment and saying it was busy would be an understatement. It was like that every day during open enrollment. 
Doing this job you should expect: EXTREMELY rude customers, Team leads that will tell you to rely on your training when you never learned it during training, not being able to take a drink between the calls, you never pick up the phone yourself it just goes automatically to the next call, two 15 minute breaks, one 1/2 hour break and monitored restroom breaks, under 45 seconds call deposition and making notes on the customer's accounts during the call, putting somebody on hold must be back in 2 minutes, website crashes during calls, not being able to get the hours that you want, and very rarely the supervisor will take over to help you out during a call. 
The interviewer told me my pay would go up after training and that I would be working during the day. Both of these were lies. I was also told by the interviewer that a supervisor or team lead would help me out and talk in my ear. This never happened. They only help you out through chat, and that sometimes takes minutes, while you sit there in silence with the customer on the line, and then you get reprimanded for having too much of silence on your calls. Basically your training is during calls.
So your job is to sit there answering calls back to back, never defend yourself, apologize for everything, get mocked, people talking in circles that you can't get off the phone, hear crying and screaming, cursing, can't hang up on customers who are freaking out unless they directly call you names, make sure you figure everything out right that second, no silence while you are trying to search an issue and type to your team lead, at the same time as they want you talk to the customer and solve their problem.
Some shifts work 6 days a week every two weeks (mandatory), if your shift ends at 4 pm and you get over an hour long call at 3:59 pm you have to stay on the phone and solve it. Yes, there is OT, they love telling you that it's available, but you will likely end up working past your scheduled shift anyway.
And they listen and record your calls and you computer screen.


Multiple changes have been made ever since I've been working there. There are a lot of technical issues during the day. Management only talks to you for updates which are constantly changing and ruining procedures that used to work. Very hard to accumulate PTO. Leadership only talks to you if you do bad. Not much of a culture at this job. Schedule changes are affecting us currently due to updates implementing new software changes. It's very hard to keep up with any occurrences due to no tracker. It seems like ever since I started working, it has become more and more difficult to work there. It is always a system issue causing more calls to come in for. The developers are constantly having issues. This typically about 15 to 20 calls a day when it's not the busy season. It seems at this point, this is a good job to start yourself in the healthcare field if you want experience but it's very hard to get promoted due to other factors causing occurrences. Only one 15 minute meeting per week with your supervisor, which is pointless because we have updates every morning coming in if there is any. That is the only interaction you have with your supervisor. You mainly deal with your team lead which is always micromanaging you and give you coaches when quality is literally setting us up for failure. Sometimes their comments do not match the calls. Co-workers are okay but there is no culture in this job. Pretty much the job has went downhill since July 2025 due to unnecessary changes and updates and glitches. We are the ones to tell the customers the bad news. Not enough pay to deal with all the chaos but again to get your foot in the healthcare field is a start. They do not listen to your needs if you need any accommodations. You have to figure it out or else you won't have a job. The hardest part of my job is keeping up with all the training while you're taking calls. They don't really give you a chance to learn so in the end, we are all lost. PTO is very hard to earn and at times hard to take. The only flag that I have is when your supervisor quits without saying anything. That is the culture. You don't work for 2 days straight without calling in and you are no longer employed. Too many issues to recommend

Micromanagement is a pervasive problem. Rather than empowering employees to take ownership of their work, management insists on overseeing every detail, often stifling creativity and productivity. This approach has not only hindered my ability to perform my job effectively but also led to a high level of stress and frustration, even though my QA scores for the past year have been above 99%. Trust and autonomy are crucial for any professional environment, and unfortunately, these are severely lacking at GetInsured.

Moreover, there was little support for professional growth or development. Opportunities for advancement here are rare and the pay is well below industry standards, even though they tell you otherwise. Not once during my time here, have I had a one-on-one coaching session or a discussion regarding professional growth, and the feedback is often more critical than constructive. I’ve been chastised in front of team members for not asking permission to take minute steps to do my job and it feels as though the company is more focused on finding faults than fostering talent. There is absolutely no autonomy and even restroom breaks are highly scrutinized. 

The combination of an autocratic work culture and excessive micromanagement has made it incredibly challenging to stay motivated and engaged even though I've managed to have great feedback from the customers I've served, and this is perhaps the only reason why I've made it this far. Despite my best efforts to contribute positively to the team and the company, the overall environment is demoralizing and unsustainable for me in the long term.

I believe that with significant changes in management style and company culture, GetInsured has the potential to be a much better place to work. However, based on my experience, there is a long way to go before it reaches that point.

I hope this review helps someone make an informed choice about getting involved with this company. The pay is very low for what they expect from you every moment of the day. The work itself isn’t bad — helping customers can be enjoyable — but you can clearly sense cliques, drama, and a very controlling environment in the background.

The training was inadequate and confusing, and once you start the actual job, you’ll receive “coachings” and write-ups for things you may have only done once — sometimes things you didn’t even know were an issue. It’s that dog-eat-dog management style where the supervisor is never wrong and seems focused on clawing their way to the next level with as little effort as possible.

They hire hundreds of people and claim there are many opportunities because the company is “growing,” but in reality this is a seasonal job. If you understand that from the beginning, it’s fine. But if you’re expecting long-term growth with real support, you will be jumping through hoops. & seems to be getting worse in 2025 from other reviews.

They want you to succeed during the busy season because the company depends on it, yet at the same time they’re not always willing to help. You can be fully focused on helping customers and doing your best, but if you miss one small task, they will punish you in a way that feels onesided and discouraging.

For the amount of work required, the pay is low, and the lack of honesty from management is concerning. To them, you’re just a warm body for the busy season — nothing more. I don’t believe this will improve, especially in the current economic climate. Everyone is hustling, hoping to be chosen to move forward, but advancement isn’t based on talent — it’s based on how much you’re willing to contort yourself and be controlled. I already have a strong sense I'll be let go of but if management can't be honest with me, at least I can be honest with myself.

I’m okay that I had the experience for my résumé, but apart from that, future employees should be aware.

Work-life balance
Unfortunately the Phoenix office closed in just 1 year! The Home Office in Atlanta and California office couldn't agree to "What's really Medicare and Good for the Customers". Home Office Lady thought she knew everything as she came from Health Insurance. Medicare she knew nothing and had an attitude towards Phoenix office. Board Members in California had deep pockets but didn't know Medicare either.  Instead of going to the brains and longevity in Medicare to certain employees, their EGO's got in the way and this caused the office to close AFTER 1 year of AEP. Use the employees and then when they return back that Monday of AEP, lock their computers and throw the whole staff.....out the door with no forewarning!!  Bad Bad Company!!

1 year in Phoenix starting Medicare transitioning from traditional Medicare and office closed. 
Management in Home Office didn't know Medicare at all. Trainer from Home Office was very unprofessional and had an attitude towards the Phoenix office. WHY couldn't they work together??  Several of us had more years experience in Medicare and could have made it a better place IF only there was true teamwork and collaboration. They locked us out of our computers 1 year later- 2nd AEP and boom office was closed! No notice! 
Poorly run company and Phoenix office didn't need to close!  I just hope there's a New CEO and Board Members including California, replacing the alter ego's.

It took about a month from the time I applied to when I was contacted for an interview. I did not sense any red flags during the interview. The company culture seemed very promising. However, the red flags became apparent very soon after and before I was even officially hired.  
During training expect to be harshly criticized and penalized for technical issues even if the company has technical issues of their own. You are expected to be on camera at all times and must notify the group if you need to step away. If you are late or having technical issues, your pay will be docked 10 minutes. Training schedule was very unforgiving and many of us struggled to keep up. Despite the fact our learning system was down a few days, we were already being threatened with penalties for not having the coursework completed. Furthermore, if you have any need to miss training for any reason, including medical leave, expect to be threatened with termination. The job is very much script based and has a telemarketing feel to it. 
The growth opportunities that were promised in training were quickly dismissed. 
If you can handle being micromanaged, having to likely work every holiday and working under confusion, then this might be the job for you. To end on a positive note, I do feel that I learned a lot about the back end of insurance in my short time with the company. But, other than that, the best part of working there was when it was time to leave.  That is coming from someone like me who usually hates leaving work. 

The absolute worst company i’ve ever worked for. First of all we were interviewed and hired on for one city then got told at orientation that everything got switched last minute and we were assigned a completely different city with a completely different schedule that we all agreed to. We were also told they would NOT accommodate any scheduling discrepancies or we’d be dropped. They told us during interviewing we’d get a month of training and a week shadow period, at orientation we were told we’d get TWO WEEKS of training and 1 day to shadow, NO ONE in my class felt confident and prepared enough to do this job. We were also told we’d be judged immediately off a scoring system when we got released on the floor and that we could be dropped from our scores being too low. I personally got written up for completing a ticket wrong even though i did it how we were trained to, so their trainers aren’t even trained up to their standards/expectations. I also experienced a caller who wanted to speak to a manager and management refused to connect and kept telling me to repeat information i already gave to the caller, this caused the caller to become irate and abusive and instead of the manager accepting the transfer, they chose to listen in on the call and kept messaging me in teams to repeat the sane info to the caller. This situation as well as how absolutely trifling this company is caused me so much anxiety, i ended up quitting before our projected end dates were up (position was temporary). Over half of my  class ended up quitting before our projected end dates as well (there were 80 ppl in our class).

•	Used AJAX API for intensive user operations and client-side validations.
•	Developed the application using Spring MVC Framework.
•	Involved in writing Spring Configuration XML file that contains declarations and other dependent objects declaration.
•	Developed the Business tier with Stateless and Statefull Session beans with EJB 3.0 standards
•	Developed user interface using HTML, CSS, JSP, JSP Tag libraries, JavaScript, Angular JS to simplify the complexities of the application.
•	Inserted Dependency Injection between components using Spring's (IoC) concept.
•	Implemented Asynchronous messaging between components using JMS 1.1.
•	Developed application service components and configured beans using Spring IoC, creation of Hibernate mapping files and generation of database schema.

The initial training was very helpful and informative, I left training feeling confident to take calls and assist the customers. Upon moving to QA, the role I was hired for, the training was incredibly disappointing. Having been a QA for over 8 years I was able to figure most of it out, however, there were people who had never worked in QA and they were left to struggle.  There was no shadowing we didn't score with an experienced specialist or watch how they scored. We were given 3 calls to listen to and told to score on our own and we would meet back in a few hours. Upon return, we were only told if our scoring was wrong or right, but not why. Then within the next week we were turned loose to score on our own. With the same expectations as a seasoned QA of 20 calls a day. When we were told we were being let go due to a reduction in workforce it was via email the Friday before Christmas and it was brushed under the rug for the 3 months we had until termination. If it was brought up in a meeting then person was told to stay behind to talk about it. There were 2 people who were in the only team meeting we ever had about it the Thursday before we were let go who had no idea that they were being let go. It was a horribly run quality program and it was like pulling teeth do get explanations on the why of scoring.
