If you want to travel to the worst places, lose your job in the middle of a contract without severance because the facility cuts out all travelers, have no benefits, be lied to and watch the owner drive up in 50K sports car while handing out third rate junk 'appreciation' gifts then you'v found your home! 

This place is WORSE than working staff, if that's possible. It's the ultimate family life destroyer. There are no useful bonuses. And traveling out of state you discover you are making less than some union nurse! 

The owners, as do most nursing management types, don't want to be troubled with the horrid working conditions, poor benefits, or ineptness of their recruiters! (Note:This has been further compounded by a merger that benefited those who usually benefit from such corporate shell games. )

Just do yourself a favor, stay away from travel nursing and this company in particular! 

Note: To fledgling nurses, take a good, long look at this career of 'caring'. My husband warned me several times to stay the course with my mathematics degree, which could have led to engineering or pharmacy. 

Of course, I didn't listen! I let some troglodyte nursing professor lure me into this career of 'caring'. That's right, you care, you give all of your care to strangers who think you are servant and don't care about you! Then you go home to a family that you have nothing left for and you didn't even bank enough change to pay your student loan debt! 

Think long and hard! Consider the monastic cloistering that is imposed on you in school. Ask yourself, is my marriage up to this? I have a husband that adores me and we still have trouble because of how this 'caring' profession sucks the life out of everyone that lands in this field! 

Whether you are a young woman, or man just out of high school, a single mom, or a wife and mother, think it through, no matter how bad things are, nursing WILL make it worse! Every career has problems, however, this career has the rare benefit of creating new problems! 

It's a career filled with parasitic personalities, lies, and backbiting that  you will take home with you regardless of how hard you try to avoid it! RUN FAR AWAY!

I have only recently started working at GIFTED, but my experience has been amazing so far. I've never had the pleasure of working for a company where mindfulness and both short and long term plans were considered from day one. I received such comprehensive training and got to spend time with each position I would be working with. They prioritized getting to know me, my skills and abilities and making me a part of the team ahead and made it very easy to feel a part of things. The structure of the company is constantly progressing and always looking for new ways to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. The Company Culture is very positive and health-oriented, with opportunities for things like free yoga classes and other options for personal growth and development. The management is strong and supportive and GIFTED takes very good care of their people. So glad to work here!

Gifted treats their employees like people and not numbers. If you are struggling in any way, they make sure to provide you with the support you need to become successful. Gifted knows that not everyone learns the same way, so they have an equal amount of hands-on training and try to tailor the training to how you learn best. The company encourages bringing new ideas to the table, whether that be for training or processes. Management, from the top down, is very involved in day to day business. The owners take a lot of care into the company as well and make appearances for work gatherings and genuinely care about each employee. The hardest part of the job is the first few months that you are revving up your book of business, but it's necessary to put in extra time and effort in the beginning to succeed long term. This is not an easy job but it takes a very mentally strong person to be successful at this long term.

During my interviews I was told I was overqualified for my position, but once I started I was treated horribly by managers at every level. Micromanagement is the norm, which is made worse by the fact that said managers are often clueless about what they're talking and make things up without consulting instructions, directions, or applicable laws. My direct supervisor routinely had temperamental tirades, threw things in the office, screamed, hyperventilated, and cried "I don't know what to do..." in the office. Also could not keep their hands to themselves. 
For a year, I was given nothing but praise for my work. When the toxic atmosphere exceeded professional tolerances, I requested a transfer to another office/department. I was immediately ostracized by management and HR, then terminated. 
If you are approached to work at this company, RUN - do not walk - away.

One of the best experiences I had working at a job was being part of a team that supported each other every day. I worked in a fast-paced environment where communication and teamwork were very important. My coworkers and supervisors were respectful, helpful, and always willing to answer questions when needed. This made it easier for me to learn new skills and become more confident in my responsibilities.

I also enjoyed helping customers and making sure tasks were completed correctly and on time. It felt rewarding to know that my hard work contributed to the success of the workplace. Over time, I became better at managing my time, staying organized, and handling multiple responsibilities during busy shifts. One thing I appreciated most was being recognized for my reliability and positive attitude. That experience taught me the importance of teamwork, professionalism, and maintaining a strong work ethic in any position.

Working at this job has been a really fun and rewarding experience for me. Every day brings something different, which keeps the work exciting and helps me stay motivated. I enjoy interacting with customers and coworkers because everyone is friendly, supportive, and easy to work with. The environment is positive, and the team works together to make sure everything gets done smoothly. One of my favorite parts of the job is learning new skills and improving my communication and problem-solving abilities. The managers are helpful and encourage employees to do their best while still making the workplace enjoyable. I also like that the job keeps me active and busy throughout the day instead of sitting around doing the same thing repeatedly. The flexible schedule and opportunities to grow make it even better. Overall, this job has been a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, fast-paced, and enjoyable place to work.

Working for GIFTED Healthcare has been an absolute pleasure thus far! The managers at GIFTED most definitely have your best interest at heart, especially when it comes to managing your life 'beyond' the workplace... I've never worked for a company that actually takes the time to help you both mentally and physically. Each and every Wednesday, GIFTED offers a yoga class for their employees during their lunch breaks at just $5/person (Gifted pays the yoga studio the remaining $10 balance per class). Along with that, GIFTED promotes and encourages you to "take" your paid-time off (PTO) whenever you can; something unheard of in many organization's today. Because I work at GIFTED, I am able to finally manage/prioritize my life beyond my working hours at the office.

Working for Gifted makes you feel like a stud horse.  Your skills and abilities are marketed to the highest bidder and often your preferences and requests are overlooked in favor of the most profitable contract opportunity.  But I am not picky and joined a per diem agency to enjoy the versatility and politics free environment afforded by per diem agency work and I am also very accustomed to feeling like a number so this was the norm for me.  If only you could be a nurse and still feel like family...unfortunately for this profession that is quite rare.

When I started my job there the office environment was great and spot on, once we moved our office it we were thrown into a small office which caused me to drive farther to work. I was not told when I was brought on that I would have to be moved to a office so far from home and it brought more stress at home for me for that, I didn't like the office set up we moved to it caused a lot of drama having everyone in the same room .We worked a lot better having 2-3 people in a room versus everyone in a bull pin together. we had to drive farther to get food, there was no room to walk much around the office, no privacy at all and just one bathroom for the entire office.

Working at Gifted has been a pleasure thus far. From my first day I was greeted with friendly faces and a welcoming environment. I didn't have much background in healthcare but the staff was patient and informative throughout my training process. The atmosphere is very calm and quiet with relaxed attire. The pace definitely increases rapidly when there is a influx of interested nurses for available opportunities. I have learned a lot of interesting information about the healthcare industry and I'm excited to be on such an awesome team & look forward to a very successful career in the healthcare industry.
