I see great things in Glenmark's future. There R&D team is working towards becoming one of the best generic companies in the industry and I admire there tenacity and work ethic. However, my experience there was'nt a good one. Although, my co-workers were warm helpful and friendly, however the management style in the area where I worked was harsh, disrespectful, lack respect and I felt the manager did not represent the culture or code of ethics encouraged at Glenmark. Glenmark work so hard to impress upon there employees to be fair, and respect internal customers as well as external trading partners. I learned alot about there system and processes and made efforts to incorporated my ideas and experience in the process to make it work. Most times I was shut down by my manager about my suggestions and they were never taken into consideration. Nevertheless, the hardest part about working at Glenmark was coming to work everyday and being harrassed and screamed at by my manager in front of the staff and my co-workers. Another difficult part of the job, while I worked there was being micro managed and called into the office every other day for friberlist things like getting to work at 8:01 when my start time was 8am. Not to punch in early ..why I did not punch in when I had punched in. or why I sent a email to her too early...etc.etc. It was a struggle! Otherwise, I think Glenmark is a wonderful company to work for and I wish my experience there was better. Its not Glenmark that caused discomfort or dawned a dark cloud over my head every day, it was the manager..Otherwise, I wish you much success Glenmark! You will be a success!!

I have learned a lot of unique guidelines and quality systems while at Glenmark. I have even been able to acquire more experience with IQ, OQ, PQ, and IPQ as it relates to pharmaceutical warehousing and setting up warehouses. Additionally I have earned more experience with temperature data logger installation and operation, which really helps someone in the quality division of manufacturing. 

Even though this is a contract role, I believe I have learned a lot from this job and believe, regardless of what happens, it will help me further to success within the quality assurance umbrella. Overall I would work here if you are looking for more experience and a change of pace within pharmaceuticals. 

A typical day at work? Routine HR functions  

What do you believe you learned? I learned resilience and emotional strength to navigate difficult personalities, solutions to navigate around workplace inefficiencies and stress management. Also how to identify signs of toxic behaviors to avoid environments such as Glenmark in the future.

Management? The HR director demonstrated substantial gaps in HR knowledge and skills, lacking expertise in several critical HR areas. The deficiency led to an absence of support, guidance, and opportunities for professional development for the HR team.

Workplace culture? Poor leadership created a toxic work environment where employees felt undervalued, unmotivated, and disengaged. This resulted in retention issues.

The hardest part of the job?   The toxic environment caused anxiety which made it difficult to go to work every day.

The most enjoyable part of the job? The employees 

This company sucks if you're not in management. There are no clear paths laid out for job growth or career development. There's a high turnover rate and instead of hiring from within they prefer to bring people from the outside in and have subordinates teach them their work. Some departments are flexible with the hybrid work from home structure while others require daily attendance. There have been 3 different HR heads in the last year alone plus they're unhelpful anyway. The new HR lady is anti vaccine and anti mask.

This company does not know how to plan ahead so there's really no work life balance for certain departments. During the end of the month expect to be working late even on holidays like NYE. 

They say they provide tuition reimbursement but your manager is allowed to deny you even if you're the top performing employee. No rhyme or reason. 



What is the best part of working at the company?
The pay is okay but there is more to life than a paycheck.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The recall and FDA inspections.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It was a nice place to work, with good pay. The QC manager got the sack. This is because the company is in India. No prejudice, just saying it is not an American company. The control was distant. Had to ask permission. Also things that work in India don’t necessarily work in the US.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Remove filters from both vessels, test filters, start clean in place, CIP process, then Pressure Hold Test Process, then Steam In Place, SIP process. Remove samples aseptically and gown qualify. Once gown qualified one could gown up and enter the core. This lasted a full eight hours.

The sad part about this place is there are so many good, smart, hard working people there that are pushed away because of the favoritism, toxic environment, etc.

One can basically work 13 hour days for years and someone else will get recognized for it. People have gotten promotions based on favoritism even if there were other people more equipped to be in those positions. 

The toxic environment includes the immaturity of even employees at management levels who gossip about other people. People have gotten bad reputations strictly based on someone not liking them and cattiness. There is so much unprofessional behavior from people at the top. I know for a fact GREAT employees who have left simply because they knew there wasn't any room for growth for them because one of the higher ups didn't like them for personal reasons.

In my last role as an IT Helpdesk Admin, a typical day involved managing technical support, troubleshooting network and printer issues, handling Active Directory tasks, and overseeing IT asset management. I gained valuable skills in IT service management, problem-solving, and automation. Management fostered accountability and provided opportunities for growth. The workplace culture was collaborative, though communication challenges occasionally arose. The hardest part was handling critical incidents and downtimes, but the most enjoyable aspect was resolving user issues and seeing system improvements. This role enhanced my adaptability and technical expertise, preparing me for future IT support roles.








What is the best part of working at the company?
Pay, benefits, in office gym. Lots of off site team building events

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The work load is of 3 titles in one, no communication between depts, warehouse makes too many mistakes and it falls on other depts to hear the complaints. No one is accountable

Bee hive of gossip, no one listens to other ways of doing things, no growth

Chaos, fighting fires, hearing complaints from customers

There wasn't one they promote who they like not the best worker

Everything is stressful about that company they don't listen they don't want to evolve and they want it done their way and only their way it's a startup company

The work environment and culture is unfriendly they have no respect for hard workers

Stressful hate it going to this place but it paid the bills

Day to Day can be challenging, but this is a start up and that comes with it. Some day are organized chaos and some days are un-organized chaos but the people are great, the work ethic is here and the overall process is in process but getting better all the time. There are so many opportunities to learn and grow and when we start being successful this place with blow up into something great.
