The constant changes created instability, and the lead supervisor seemed more focused on appeasing the principal than advocating for the staff.

The workplace culture is decent overall.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day involves checking in with students on your caseload who are late to class, conducting regular follow- ups throughout the day, constant walkie talkie calls from classroom teachers of students needed assistance. Worse was escorting students on the designated list to various locations, including the bathroom.

My time at GSS was largely enjoyable, characterized by a welcoming and positive workplace atmosphere. The benefits offered were overall commendable, contributing to a sense of employee well-being. However, I believe there is room for improvement regarding compensation, as the pay could be more competitive to better reflect the contributions of staff. On the downside, one of the more pressing challenges I observed was a lack of organizational structure. The frequent changes within the organization often led to confusion about whether tasks were being executed correctly. Furthermore, there is a clear need for enhanced communication between upper management and program directors. Establishing clearer lines of dialogue would ensure that the program effectively aligns with its intended goals and objectives. Addressing these issues would not only improve operational efficiency but also enhance overall employee satisfaction and engagement within the organization.

The families and employees are treated with respect,  Fairness, and professionalism. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Working with and servicing families along with outside agencies that don’t adhere to the same standards and principles as the agency.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The environment is inclusive and fair to everyone.  The culture of the agency addresses everyone in a fair and respectful manner.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Busy, busy and enlightening. Working with families was my passion and seeing the outcome of the families made everyday a triumphant day.

The best part of working at Good shepherd is the children and foster parents.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
I was never acknowledged for my dedication. The gossiping was felt, especially my the supervisor. The was inclusion it felt like everyone is for themselves.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I never felt welcomed. The director would pass without greeting even though you say hello to her. The atmosphere felt competitive despite working for one cause.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Minding my business, reaching out to my clients, inputting notes, attending court, and reporting.

Loved the goal and overall mission of this agency. The participants and families served can be challenging, but working with them isn’t the most challenging part of this position.  Sadly, staff aren’t prepared properly or supported intentionally long term to get all of the desired results of the mission. The community aspect of this organization is the strongest retainer of talent, while management at times can unintentionally play the largest role in why people leave. Coordinators, Managers or supervisors are sometimes promoted and expected to create new program structures with little starting materials, previous content, or continued guidance from the agency. Downsizing may actually help to maintain consistency across programs.

Good Shepherd as the company itself is great. There are many benefits. This review is on the care coordination department. There are always changes and you have to be open to always learning. Management also changes and staff also come and go. In regards to the cases, you have to put boundaries so you do not burn out. It should be a partnership between the CC and the families. The cases are mostly on mental health. Many staff come for the first time as care coordinators and you get to learn a lot in this field in order to move on. You also have to learn to be organized and manage your time.

Everyone actually cares about there job treats everyone with respect and actually indulges into the community when needed

sometimes just the time frames for me not really the company but me personally I have other things I needed to take care of in my personal life

ecstatic,remarkable,caring and most of all very diverse

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Well I worked at a daycare under there company so it was very fun I love kids it was for the most part enjoyable

Flexible, job growth/opportunities 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Co workers. Bad ones usually don’t stick around long though because There is a standard of excellence which can be hard sometimes even for the best employees.. not a bad thing though 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It’s really an environment of living in someone’s house, and you are working for them not for the company. Family.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
You never know…sometimes a great day with pleasant interactions. Some days not so much… just like anywhere else

You come in contact with a lot of college students,which I did enjoy. I actually enjoyed my time with the employee's and children. Because of the skills I honed.,I can apply them to my son who has autism, even though I already had the  book training, the hands own application helped me to better understand how to apply it to his everyday life skills...The children can get aggressive but we worked as a team to deescalate the situation and you get plenty of training. Please don't take it personal when a child gets upset. Shifts are flexible.

The location, it was close to my job.

Lack of leadership, lack of adequate supervision. Lack of support by supervisor.

The environment lacks structure and does not have any written policy in place to ensure that the work is being done correctly.

The typical day varies from day to day.One day can be very laid back, while another day can be very chaotic.
