The managers in the call center are the most insufficient and inadequate management you’ll ever come across. From the time I started at this company till now, I have witnessed around 12 people quit this job due to management. It has an extremely high turnover rate not due to the nature of the job, but due to how poorly ran the department is. Nothing is done in regards to this despite the numerous complaints made. The HR team that handles these complaints is consisted of 2 people, one of which is the best friend of the main call center manager. You are treated like you are in kindergarten and at one point, the managers will decide it is your turn to be bullied and will look for the tiniest thing to attack you on. They take turns singling someone out and each employee will have to experience being bullied by them or being ridiculed by them at some point. It is inevitable. They are very controlling and will threaten you about losing your job over simple things. For example, we have a patient advocate who is pregnant and has to have frequent doctors appointments. She has been having a rough pregnancy and will get really sick at times. She was feeling really bad one day and called her doctor to see if she could get in for an appt. In order to make it the appointment, she needed to leave work for the rest of the day. However, she was informed by management that If she goes to that appointment, they would be contacting HR about her attendance and she was threatened with losing her job. Needless to say, she didn’t make it to the appointment. Another employee who has since quit, was in a car wreck on the way to work one morning and informed our leads she could not make it in. Our leads told her they would come pick her up and bring her in, not once caring about the wreck she had been in. I could provide a million examples as each employee has their own story of how they were threatened or given uncalled for disciplinary actions. They seem to revel in having control and power over others. They are beyond incompetent when it comes to successfully running the call center. The main manager has never sat in a chair and did the job we do. She can’t manage the team due to never being in the role herself and having no clue what it’s like to perform our job. Instead, she delegates everything. Management also discriminates and plays favorites. One of our assistant managers advised one employee, who was Hispanic, that if she would just grow a dot in the middle of her forehead, she could be sisters with another employee who is Indian. The list goes on and on. I highly recommend trying for other positions within Greenway instead of the patient call center unless you want to come to work every day filled with anxiety that you are going to be picked on today or singled out and bullied. It takes a mental toll on you for sure. Nothing will ever change in the call center when the manager is best friends with the HR department despite the constant complaints and the high turnover rate. Be as much informed as you can be when considering a job here.

I was the front line of communication between a company that didn't care, and the people it was supposed to care about. I felt horribly stressed and miserable my entire time working there.

They stuffed us into cubicles and micromanaged quite literally every second of our day with time tracking tools. Weekly lunch meetings took place where we had to buy our own lunch and more often than not we were just scolded for an hour about not meeting impossible stretch goals.

When I left, we were actively using a new tool that had us manually report every single activity we were doing throughout the day while a stopwatch tracked it until we updated with a new activity. This was all sent to the management in real time - they would DM you on your computer if something seemed out of place with your activity.

Under-staffing was intentional as best as I could tell. I was quite literally told that I didn't have "permission" to get up and use the restroom because they needed me taking calls.

Training was also poor, they spent weeks telling us to figure out their software on our own rather than showing us thoroughly through it - and it is incredibly complex software. We're talking about an all-in-one management suite for a hospital.They mostly throw people to the wolves and just hope it works out. Clients are nice and understanding, but also impatient with new people. You aren't allowed to tell a client "i'm new and I don't know how to resolve this yet, let me pass you to ____" so you get stuck lying to clients over and over while you stumble through their problems.

If you're offered a job at Greenway as a customer support representative, I'd honestly say you'd be better off with 3 roommates in a one bedroom apartment while you work a minimum wage job flipping burgers. Avoid at all costs.

While I work a relatively large client and I hit the ground running as soon as I get on the clock, I look forward to going into work every morning due to the incredible environment Greenway provides.

The management are very approachable and understand well the issues their workers face - they are usually alongside us in the proverbial coal mines! They are very understanding and willing to help as best they can if you are faced with unexpected circumstances such as medical or family emergencies. We are encouraged to use our PTO time to spend time with our families and have time for ourselves, the philosophy being that a happy worker is a more productive worker.

My coworkers are great people - some of us are a bit "off," but there is definitely a strong sense of comradery and a near family-like bond that exists in the office. Practical jokes abound and every month cubicles get done up with balloons and streamers for birthdays... but everyone knows how to knuckle down when it's crunch-time, with many of us voluntarily coming in for Saturday "blitzes" when one (or more) is required. I usually end up working over 40 hours each week, but I do it voluntarily and stay over almost daily.

I love getting to interact with the ladies at my site (which operates out of state) and have built a strong rapport with one of the main contacts I communicate with. At times it can get stressful and even frustrating - my site operates several large clinics as well as a hospital or two - when a deluge of charges floods in, but the wonderful ladies I reach out to at the site manage to tough it out alongside me and make it all worth it in the end.

Overall, I am deeply grateful for my employment with Greenway and hope to stay with the company and grow along with it.

On a daily basis, there was continuous interaction with team members about the current state of a production release or the progress of a future release. A day does not go by where I was not involved in a meeting to discuss daily updates or a design session on current features. Within my tenure, I have been blessed with lots of talented professionals. Everyone is open for questions and are willing to provide exceptional feedback. I have learned a lot about software development and continuous integration. I have learned the great deal of effort involved in producing a sustainable product and I have learned to communicate with organizational leadership on a regular basis. I have been able to learn many application tools that could be translated across multiple organizations. The hardest part of my job was having to adhere to multiple processes under the same umbrella. If all teams operated under the same standard operating procedures, the teams and the organization would be more powerful and efficient. The most enjoyable part of my job was being able to assist and facilitate issues and remove impediments to my team members. I love removing my team's struggles. If there is an answer out there, I will find it and will travel through the weeds to assure I capture the need for my team.

The potential to be the best revenue service company is there, but upper management either doesn't understand or doesn't want to understand the needs of the employees and the clients. Advice from tenured employees with a vast knowledge in billing, work processes and customer success are disregarded. The only thing the directors and ELT truly care about is saving a dollar. The client retention rate keeps dropping, and good employees keep leaving. This causes the remaining good employees to be overworked. Every 6 months they reinvent the wheel calling it an improvement, but really it's the same thing just tossing clients around to different revenue consultants. They keep pushing more and more work to the Business partners overseas which is supposed to help the analyst have time to analyze the AR, but instead it causes the consultants to become a clean up crew to bad quality billing. With all the clients one person is given it is near impossible to find issues before the clients, so revenue consultants are bombarded on every conference call with questions of why the follow up team and/or payment posters did something wrong, again. It's exhausting and downright sad to watch the way revenue services is being ran. 

The workflow was consistent, and the day to day tasks were fulfilling and easily accomplished in my opinion. The issue with the company is that the call center is ran 100% different than the main office. They change rules and guidelines with no warning and little explanation. The turnover rate is exponential due to poor quality work environment and management. The benefits are great but in no way worth the hassle of being employed by the call center. I enjoyed my work and stayed busy at every second of the day, even if that meant doing things outside of my technical job description. They are big on "favorites". There are people that produce a completely insufficient workflow and you can find them on Netflix or facebook, with no interference by management. They set up potlucks, I guess to distract you from the fact that the pay is absolutely not worth it. The company itself is very family oriented, yet the call center will do everything they can to make you decide between work and family. They are not the least bit understanding with emergencies or sick employees.

The RCM Department went through several changes while I was there.There was a high turnover rate from newbies to managers. Some managers and team leads were great, others not so much. Luckily, mine were amazing, but they eventually left for better opportunities. When I first started, my team was more like a family. We worked together closely, we were all helpful and encouraging, and there was a lot of flexibility. That all changed after about two years when a new manager was hired and she assigned a new team lead. The entire process was unfair to others I had grown to care about, and that was pretty much how Greenway as a whole handled things. For example, after I'd been there a year, they had me training someone who they'd started at $3 more an hour than what I was making, and he was straight out of high school with no experience! Maybe the RCM has learned to value their employees over the last several years, but they certainly didn't during my 3 years there. My team was the reason I stayed as long as I did. If you get with the right group, it isn't a horrible experience. 

The marketing department prefers to fill management roles with followers as opposed to leaders which contributes to the toxic work environment. 
Even top performers with pristine work performances can get fired with no notice for no reason. They may, however, invent a scenario that tarnishes your reputation so that they can sleep at night for letting you go.
Panic and dramatic bombshells are the everyday norm here. The future of the company is always up in the air. Even if you navigate through this with ease you may still be punished for independent thinking.
Marketing has a tendency to fabricate their results, or possibly earn them through foot-stamping, pouting, or even the occasional eyelash batting. Integrity is considered important, but unfortunately it is not always implemented. 
Communication between departments is non-existent which leads to marketing selling a dream that sales and professional services can not realize. I mean this quite literally. Do your research before applying.

The Alachua office has a ton of hardworking people who know their craft and are always looking to improve. Despite working with a lot of legacy systems, they have made great efforts to incorporate modern software development practices. Great scrum-masters keep agile development agile, and it generally runs smoothly. It feels like people care about what you're doing, and about you as a person. You will learn a lot, and if you know what you are doing, you will have the space to try out new things and grow.

There have been a lot of shakeups lately, and some people have understandably left. Pay can be low, and unless you can show an outside offer it can be difficult to get raises when they are deserved. 

Sometimes it feels like management sets unrealistic deadlines, but at least there's always a back-and-forth conversation about it. There are virtually no perks relative to other modern software companies, though the sprint socials every other sprint are nice. At least we get free coffee.

I enjoyed the clients I had, loved the real world experience I received for claims and billing, but wasn't a fan of much else. As a whole, they don't put much emphasis on continuous education and the promotion opportunities seemed predetermined before they actually posted them for internal applicants. There is a lot of toxic employees that management seems to overlook if their performance is on point and that causes a lot of issues with team dynamics. I found myself working in a department where my pay was capped despite having worked so hard in another position to secure a 50 cent raise. Their benefits package had a very high deductible and their answer to that was a plan that had a much higher premium that saved you a little more than half on the deductible. I would have liked to stay but the company was not set up for me to entertain the idea of a longer employment. Since I left, I have heard some very distressing things about the company as it "trimmed the fat".
