This company is all about making money. You will have 3-4 patients an hour/every hour during your work day and they will continue to tell you that you are not being productive enough. They tell you that they have a bonus program each quarter, however, they make the expectations unrealistic so you will never meet it. They expect you to write novels for SOAP notes and bill 4 units to all patients. It is all about quantity and not quality. In the years that I worked here, I received only one raise and it was $0.13. There is no room for growth in this company and you will be stagnant in your position. The clinics are generally nice and clean, but the way that they run things is poor. Area management was poor and you are left with a lot of empty promises. I enjoyed my co-workers but despised this company. Think long and hard about if you want to be overworked and under paid. 

I was so happy to work in a place where I felt patient care was prioritized, and the amount of support for their employees on a local level was great. I should've realized the constant change of local management was a red flag, I just saw it as a coincidence at the time. Without going into much detail of my situation, let's just say the more I did, the more was expected, until nothing was enough. The lack of coordination and training plays a big part, everyone (both clinical and clerical) is expected to jump in after less than a week of training. I was told by one leader one thing, was told the exact opposite by other leadership the very next week. I loved the people I worked with and the patients we worked with, it ultimately made a complicated situation even more complicated. Upper management on a corporate level is amazing, though. Constant encouragements and tools to succeed was something I had never seen elsewhere, so that was definitely a positive.

H2 Health Physical Therapy is a generally good organization to work with from an insurance verification standpoint. The clinical staff is professional and patient-focused, which helps when clarifying coverage and authorization needs. Most insurance-related processes are straightforward once communication is established.

That said, there can be occasional challenges with timely documentation and interdepartmental communication, which can slow down verification or authorization workflows. Clearer procedures and more consistent follow-up would help improve efficiency.

Overall, H2 Health provides a solid working environment, but there is room for improvement in coordination and insurance-related communication.

I was really weary about working for another corporate company as I have worked for a couple in the past and it always feels like the life is being sucked out of me, but working for H2 Health/Atlas Physical therapy has been a dream! My Clinical Director is amazing, my coworkers are awesome, and our patients are literally the sweetest. This job is heavy reliant on communication between the PCC and the clinicians and I could not ask for a better team to be apart of when it comes to that! I also have found and loved being able to create relationships between us and patients daily! This is one of the best companies I have ever worked for!

Working at H2 Health has been one of the best decisions of my career. As a Physical Therapist, I was looking for more than just a job—I wanted a place where I could grow, feel supported, and truly make an impact. H2 Health delivered on all of that and more.

What sets this company apart is the culture. Leadership is transparent and accessible, and there's a genuine belief in investing in people, not just numbers. I feel like my voice matters here. There's room for creativity, autonomy, and even entrepreneurship—qualities you don’t always find in healthcare. We treat patients with heart, and that same care extends to how we treat each other.


The communication here is horrible. Changes are made without any face to face discussions. They will offer "6 paid holidays" but as a salary employee they will expect you to make those hours up to maintain productivity standards (i.e., as if the holiday didn’t happen). Therapists were suggested to work through lunch, open on the weekends, or have the clinic open outside of business hours so the clinic could keep the productivity numbers high. There is no potential for advancement here. Overworked and under appreciated. The bonus structure is not attainable at all either - DO NOT LET THEM LIE TO YOU ABOUT THIS. 

Overall if you want work and willing to travel they find you work. Got to be willing to work whats available. Agency nursing is definitely not for you if you have to have routine and steady hours. You have to be adaptable to all different facilities and their procedures. Orient a place first make sure can handle the work load and should be fine. I've been with this company since 2010 and work it as a filler job if need more income and spending money. It keeps my nursing skills up to date and enjoy learning how all the different employers run their facilities from day to day. At times companies cancel you so make sure have a back up for income if needed.

The Callahan location has so many young individuals who are eager to help their peers. I have never before experienced  a job where I genuinely feel empowered and motivated on a daily basis. The BCBA is young, kind, and super patient and the training is very thorough. If you feel unprepared or need someone to provide a visual example, everyone jumps at the opportunity to do so. They keep things simple and straightforward and do everything to make sure you succeed. I love the people I work with and I’m so grateful to be here!

I keep enjoying my time at H2 Health. The work environment is super supportive, and everyone on the team is always willing to lend a hand. There’s a strong focus on patient care, which really creates a sense of purpose in the job. Management is approachable and communicative, always ready to offer guidance or help with anything that comes up. I’ve felt supported throughout my time here, and there’s definitely room to grow. The compensation is competitive for the industry, and the benefits package is solid, including things like health insurance and paid time off. I also appreciate how H2 Health values work-life balance.
