I'm surprised the company is growing at all since they can't keep employees. Half the employees are great hardworking people the other half are hust there for a paycheck. The half only there for a paycheck never show up on time or at all leaving the responsible employee stuck working until a replacement is found if one is ever found (even after 12hrs shift nobody can seem to come in for even 2-4hrs until a replacement is found to relieve) Then there's also the issue with payroll staff shorting checks and when confronted says they'll rectify the issue and decides to just leave work early so she doesn't have to fix the issue. This will happen more than once. The customer's are fantastic. The issue lies with management staff and the lack of responsible employees. If the kinks could be worked out and responsible employees not being worked like mules to the ground for dirt the place would be great. I'd come back to work for them in a heartbeat I loved my clients.

I have been working for this company for nearly two years.  They are very professional and responsive.  I have worked contracted positions before, and HCA has never made me feel like a contractor.  They treat me as an employee and willing to assist if I have any issues/concerns with the facility I am assigned.  HCA offers all the benefits one would expect as a regular employee: health benefits, paid time off, paid holidays, 401k and more.  On top of that, their wages are above fair.  This is not your typical staffing agency.  All of their positions are truly long-term.  They are upfront and honest.  This is not your typical 12–13 week contract then move on to the next.  Their positions are truly long-term.  As I said, 2 years and still going.  Don't hesitate to apply for a position with HCA.  Don't let the word "contractor" mislead you or make you second guess what might be a good opportunity.  I love my job and the facility where I work!!!

This position has allowed me to work from home during the pandemic and I was so pleased with the position, decided to continue with the company.  Previously I was driving over 100 miles a day seeing patients.   HCA always answers my emails promptly and professionally.  If I have had concerns about a contract I am working, they have been receptive and understanding helping the best they can.  The hardest part of my job is if I have an internet connection or power outage, which doesn't happen often.  I love being able to talk with my patients and assist them from my home and starting/ending my day from home which has helped bring back my work/life balance.  Best decision I made!

Hourly Salery, they way our economy is set up now a days. HCA offers decent hourly wages. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Dealing with Their HR director, plus life is stressful and you have to adapt to whatever comes your way.

It's a government contracting Agency.  

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was contracted out and my site was an awesome place to work

HCA has been apart of my life for quite some time now and the experience has been pleasant. Turnover rates for field staff is ridiculous in almost any home health aide company but they always make their consumers top priority no matter how difficult. Any issues I’ve ever had have been met with understanding and help in resolving it from the office staff. I see the company growing every year and their hard work stands out. 

I quit this job when they decided not to hire anymore employees and I was the only one working normal job hours and on call, 24/7, literally. I only got one day off in 7 weeks, and was all around exhausted. If you don’t have a family then it would be a good place to work, but I have small children I never got to see because I was overwhelmed with working well over 70hrs a week. I do not recommend this job for a family man.

Unorganized office. Unprofessional personnel. Unable to keep employees. 
Loved my job. Had the freedom to work at my convienence. A lot of travel covering entire County. 
Unfortunately, I would go weeks without work because they could not keep Direct Care Workers. They let me go after 7 months via email telling me they no longer needed a RN to do my job. Very unprofessional!

Very happy I'm now with this agency!
At my old agency, we had to pay full price for benefits, there was no 401k, and less pay!
HCA reached out to me directly after winning this contract and offered me more money than I've ever made before as a Pharmacy Technician. 
Very happy with everyone and everything they offer!

My typical day is making sure clients are staffed 100% and employees\ clients are happy. We are definitely a TEAM in the office!! We have aewsome communication!
