However, like many healthcare providers, it can present demanding workloads that might lead to stress. Balancing work-life can occasionally be challenging, and individuals seeking a more relaxed pace might find the environment demanding.

Communication between departments sometimes lacks consistency, which can lead to minor inefficiencies. Although efforts are being made to address this issue, there is room for improvement.

Overall, HNI Healthcare has a robust offering in hospital management and patient care. While it shows some areas that need refinement, it’s a solid choice for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about healthcare innovation.

I would take care of the day to day operations for the physicians within the hospital setting.  Outside calls were answered and followed up by me.  Scheduling of meetings through the medical center and physicians in the hospitalists group were confirmed and scheduled.  Communication throughout the hospital from various departments requiring physician attention was a major part of my job.

HNI is a provider-led company that values each provider and their contribution to the company’s mission. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The charting aspect is very stressful. The EMR we use is not the best.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Autonomous. I don’t see many people from the company as I work independently

I report to work, round on my patients and go home

Local support group was good and helpful

The higher level management was dollars and cents oriented only

Relaxed locally with flexibility but at the corporate level it was stressful

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
9-5 with space for lunch and to spend time with patients - lots of driving

I liked my job it was challenging from regular hospital billing to SNF billing is different.  I enjoyed every bit of my work and co-workers we slowly but surely learned to work as a team.  Hardest part of the job was not having the access to facilities to be able to bill the patients insurances or when facilities were not able to obtain any of the patient demographics.  The enjoyable part of the job was when we met our goals which meant bonus.

Treat you like dirt. The program manager has no experience and makes you do all his work then writes you up for doing it.

They are clueless. They care less about anyone that works there and run everyone out the door. They don't care about staff or doctors. 
They hire people with no experience including their site manager.
Best advice run the other direction..

The company is a great combination of good corporate benefits with a small family-owned feel.  Any employee, no matter their position, can walk into the President's office and chat with him.  The owner is kind and truly cares about the employees.  The senior management team is fair and always able to adapt to new situations.  They really work with team members when one has a family issue, and the employees are amazing to work with!

This is the perfect billing physician billing office. Nice helpful co-workers, in all departments. You enjoy how the work flow streams during the day to end with a good productive day.
Management always willing to help out in any area or department.

Great group of doctors working for the group, however, they are 💩 on because the staffing model apparently relies on locums for 50% of the coverage. And no incentive for staff providers to pick up extra despite a lack of coverage. HNI=High Level of Inpatients. 

This company is the worst company i have ever worked for. Management is dishonest and  manipulative. to both employees and the faculties they contract with. I would never recommend working  for them.
