What is the best part of working at the company?
The best part of working here was the relationships I made with the residents. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The company can’t keep employees and forces all the work of the open departments onto the employees that are still there creating a stressful environment the is detrimental to mental health. In the 2 years I worked here, I always had to take over multiple positions and never could just remain in my one position for more than 30 days at a time. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Corporate and building management have absolutely no idea what they are doing or how to run a company. Corporate is unaware of what actually goes on in there buildings and tries to dictate without having step foot inside. The company is full of drama from the bottom to the top. I felt like I was walking into middle school everyday. The management I started working under in 2024 was amazing until everything changed at the end of 2024. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Go to work expecting to do your job and go home. When you get there you find out you have to do someone else job so you can’t actually get your work done even though they expect you to and god forbid you go into overtime trying to run two departments in a 40 hour week.  Clock out thinking you’re done until the next day then they blow up your phone after work and on the weekends.

During my employment, everything at the very beginning was decent. However, when you first get employed you are required to complete orientation for a full day of pay. Then when you start you are permitted to 3 days of shadowing/hands on paid training. During my training I received only 2 days of training and by the third day ended up on the floor all by myself. As a full time employee you are guaranteed to receive a set of resident to work with on a regular basis, as it seemed for most of the employees there. However, after multiple occasions of being told I would receive a set, I still would work all over the building while no one else get moved off of their hallways. During half of my time being employed I was pregnant and continuously never receiving help and would have to constantly strain my back or work harder than I should have. The condition of working at this place literally overwhelms you and exhausts you, mentally, physically and emotionally drains you. Every time you turned around they were adding more to your workload and would not offer any incentives or pay raises. Repeatedly after talking to front management and not seeing a change I decided to leave for my own benefit. 

Initially the job gave the impression of a healthy work life balance.  When hired we were given no information about benefits and it turned out there really werent any. 5 pto days that are accrued and that includes sick time. 

The organization demands you use your own cell phone without any compensation and do not follow basic guidelines of "salaried" employees.  

They don't provide proper equipment to be able to do your job and will passive aggressively expect you to provide your own materials. 

The supervisors are bullies.  It doesn't matter how hard you work or how much you care about the organization, they will berate and bully you and believe that demeaning their employees will force them to work harder. 

If you decide that you want to advocate for yourself, coorperate will not be supportive and will most likely begin to push you out.  This organization most definitely will retaliate.  

One positive thing about this organization is that your peers work very hard.  Other than that I would spare yourself the abuse and the heart ache.  They advertise a decent wage but I promise you, you will kill yourself for every penny. 




This company is great about saying all the right things to get you in the door. They will bait you with pay and sign on bonuses but fail to fulfill basics of ethical practices and adherence to guidelines provided by governing agencies. They're intimidated by anyone who has a strong knowledge base of skilled nursing facilities and state regulatory practices. They promise help but only bring chaos and confusion. They show no effort to maintain current employees or to show appreciation for those who have invested time and energy to achieve success. They're filled with false hope and poor foundation. They slander the names of previous employees repeatedly rather than accepting responsibility for their actions. Their answer to their problems is to mass hire people with poor oversight to insure quality staff. They're practices leave the licensed professionals most at risk with little to no direction or education of best practices. Above all else the saddest truth is that their lack of care or concern for regulatory guidelines leaves the patient with subpar outcomes and lack luster quality of care. 

Job is super stressful. Day shift nurses have split halls while night shift is expected to take an entire hall and then others. Very rarely I had down time or was able to take a lunch, but if census was low they would take out a extended lunch anyways. Working in a senior care center one can understand that the facility is a residents home but when you're swamped and 10 people are asking for something at the same time, management expects you to stop everything you're doing and please the resident then and there. There is no such thing as no at this place. Heaven forbid you call out sick, you get told to find your own coverage and shunned for being sick. I will say the health insurance isn't priced bad.  Most days I could barely walk out the place because my feet hurt so bad from all the running around. Some coworkers are helpful and supportive, but forget management, you can never do enough for the it seems. All in all if you enjoy being overworked and unappreciated then this is the place for you. Turnover is extremely high so be prepared to see a ton of new faces.

A typical day at work? 
Management yelling and talking down to you instead of asking what they could do to help workout job frustrations. 

Management? 
They rather demand orders then take feedback and do anything with it. The management micromanages every single person that doesn't try to kiss up. 
They recently installed cameras with audio and visual display for management to drop in at anytime. 

Workplace culture?
sucks. no recognition to actual employees. Awards are given out to management staff on friendship in the morning meetings. no thought towards bbq's and no prizes give out to boost staff morale. 

Hardest part of my job? 
Due to understaffing, we are expected to be 5 places at once. Instead of apologizing on their behalf and work on improving, they bark orders to staff and expect employees to jump every time they need help on the floor.

The patients that are suffering in there

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Watching the patients stay in bed all day they don't go anyplace wake up and die in the same spot. Beds old and don't work tv don't have remotes don't even see how the state allows this place to keep the doors open they must be under there arm also.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I was attacked and bit I was called the N word and spit on administrator don't care about the workers or patients 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
12 hours you wake them up feed them clean them do lunch do dinner your there the whole day with no compassion from the desk people

JUST TO BE CLEAR THIS IS THE NEW LOCATION IN ROME GA! DO NOT TAKE A JOB AT THIS LOCATION! No mutual respect among employees. Lot of gossip and backstabbing. Administration does not introduce themselves for weeks if you want to meet them you have to go up to them. The training process leave much to be desired you are expected to pass medications of 45/50 patients to one nurse CNAs don’t answer call lights. You’re perform is based on if the employees who have been there longer than you “like” you or not. They are intimidated if you have been a nurse longer or have been in roles that are higher than what they hold. When a patient is out of medication they just take it from other patients. It’s a disgrace. Someone should get corporate in there or at the very least call state I feel bad for the patients. I truly fear for their lives. 

Started here as first management position and left after a few months due to corporate management. Hourly employees underpaid, pto is essentially non existent, 401k matching takes 3 years to kick in (probably another 3 to fully vest, didn’t stick around to find out), expensive low quality health insurance, no annual raises. You receive less then 1 hr of pto per pay period (biweekly) and if I wanted to let my employees use their pto I was expected to personally fill all positions to avoid using any small amount of overtime. Corporate doesn’t want to put money into keeping/hiring good employees or bringing the facility to a modern and competitive operation. Facility leadership team was fine but have hands tied in a lot of situations. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is the residents.  Some of the staff are nice, but there’s drama throughout the whole building. The CNAs and RNs don’t properly do their job, or they’re having to take care of 20+ residents by themselves.  The work environment is very toxic and if you’re a good worker, they’ll intentionally schedule you by yourself, or with someone completely new to the job, without any compensation.  They don’t allow you to get overtime, even if you’re not completely finished with your job.  They pay less than our locally owned McDonald’s . You can do everything and it’s still not enough.  I’m tired. I need a better paying job.
