A typical day at HNE is fast-paced and highly engaging. There’s a strong emphasis on relationship-building, candidate experience, and meeting client needs, which keeps the work dynamic and rewarding. No two days are exactly the same, which I really enjoy. I’ve also gained valuable experience in client management, negotiation, and delivering results under tight timelines. 
Management at HNE is supportive, accessible, and knowledgeable. Leaders are willing to provide guidance when needed while still trusting recruiters to manage their desks independently. Expectations are clear, feedback is constructive, and strong performance is recognized. There is a genuine effort from management to help employees succeed and grow in their roles.
The workplace culture at HNE is collaborative and professional and the best part of being with HNE. Recruiters support one another, share knowledge, and celebrate wins together. The environment is goal-driven but not cutthroat, which helps foster motivation and long-term engagement. It’s a place where hard work is valued and teamwork is encouraged.
The most enjoyable part of working at HNE is the people on the team.  


Overall the company is good for temporary agencies and gives good benefits for being a temporary agency. Many agencies won’t give benefits like health, life, dental and vision. However you don’t earn any time off, you can work your butt off working overtime and doing whatever you can for their client but there is little in return. The only time off you get is five sick days which you can only use if it qualifies as sick. When working with the client you get very little info from them and even the client seems confused on what the contract details.  You also do not get any forewarning on being laid off. I came home from work and received a phone call telling me I was dismissed and had very little communication afterwards on what my next steps where. There was no follow up offer of a different job, information on what happened to my insurance such as cobra. I had to figure it out all myself. 

If HNE's offer is for Freedom Mortgage, runaway. You'll never see any advancement or be hired on. The company itself is going downhill, having massive layoffs, no pay raises for hired on employees, renting out the office building to third parties, not hiring on the temporaries. The weight of team moral is placed on the employees themselves (coming up with their own pitch-ins and events). Management lacks voice entirely and will never let you know if you're doing anything wrong. Training was non-existent. The writing is on the wall. Use it as an in-between if need be. No career opportunity here. 

I loved working for this company.  They were very thing they promised to be.  Compensation and friendliness were on point.  Training was on point.  It was the end of my assignment that really threw be badly.  I wasn’t given any notice.  To be fair I don’t know if HNE was given notice either but there should be a protection for employees along those lines.  I would have finished my assignment regardless.  But just not being able to clock in/out is finding out in a way that makes you question yourself.  If you did something wrong.  Why you got dropping right then and there in middle of a work week. It really threw my confidence.

HNE has an amazing culture!  I feel valued and respected as a part of the team.

I don’t think there’s anything stressful at all!

Every team member is valued for their contributions

I had a lot of independent work due to the nature of my position, but any time I need help with something someone is always there for me

They’re very helpful when it comes to questions or concerns. Get back to you quickly and knowledgeable.

No paid vacation or paid time off. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Where I work it’s the best, get your work done on time no problem. Boss and people I work with are great.

Log on work chat with coworkers, then I’m done. Smooth sailing.

Wonderful staffing company and the company Im currently placed at as well is great. The people are great and help I’m an awesome team. I have no complaints so far.

There is nothing really stressful about working at my current position

The work environment is great and everyone is so helpful and supportive

They placed me with a mortgage company . A company you would think is professional and cares about their employees, however , they only care about themselves . When I interviewed for this position I was so happy and really thought I would be stepping into my career. This particular mortgage company is the absolute worst work place & the employees don’t know how to do their jobs or simply don’t want to . Worst job ever 

The actual company itself is not that bad, however when it comes to the contracts it is extremely hit or miss. Some people have amazing opportunities, some don't. The contract I was placed with was mostly incorrect from what I had been told about it, which no one seemed to mind. The hours, the contract length, all of it was incorrectly given.

I feel like I am part of a real team 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
The workload can change frequently - but we are given tools to help adjust.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Our team is patient, nimble, and really welcoming
