I’ve held off on writing this review for a while, but now that I’ve left the company, I feel fully equipped to share my experience — and hopefully save someone else from making the same mistake.

Like many, I accepted this job excited by the promise of breaking into what appeared to be a prestigious industry. A company car, a phone, business cards, and a self-managed schedule — all of it sounded great on paper. Even being flown out to Philadelphia for training gave the impression that this was a serious opportunity.

But that’s where the excitement ends.

From day one, I felt the weight of unrealistic expectations and an environment rooted in micromanagement. Your company car and phone? They track your every move. You’ll be messaged if you leave even a few minutes past 8 a.m., regardless of technical errors or reasonable explanations.

The daily expectation to see 25+ doctors is not just unrealistic — it’s unachievable. Everyone knows it. The culture this fosters is one where dishonesty becomes the norm, with reps falsifying call logs just to meet quota. If the entire metric system is built on data that everyone knows is false, what does that say about the integrity of the company?

You’ll also find yourself consistently unwelcome in offices. With no ability to offer legitimate value — no lunch meetings, no samples, just a stack of brochures offices already received last week — you’re often met with frustration or told never to return.

At its core, this job isn’t about building relationships or creating impact — it’s about checking boxes. You become a glorified courier, selling a service built on overpromises to clients and under-delivered by reps left to do “dirty work” without support or real tools to succeed.

Eventually, many reps stop trying. I witnessed it firsthand. The job becomes an endless loop of driving around, avoiding offices that don’t want to see you, and logging fabricated visits out of sheer defeat. It’s draining. It makes you feel stuck — financially, emotionally, professionally.

The industry may be booming, but HCPC hasn’t raised its starting salary in years — a major red flag. For a job with this level of burnout and disillusionment, the compensation simply doesn’t reflect the toll it takes.

If you’re searching for a job where you can grow, feel proud of your work, and be treated with respect, this isn’t it. This company thrives on appearances but lacks substance. Don’t fall for the smoke and mirrors.

Please — for your sanity and your future — keep looking.

This job requires too much driving for some locations. Territories are not created equally On top of the extensive driving there are constant changes made throughout the month and they expect you to be flexible/nimble  but don’t want to be nimble for you . They don’t want to hear the logical side of things when you bring an issue to them. They expect you to go the extra mile for the company but are not willing to go the extra mile for you .  I do not advise young adults  ,especially fresh out of college, to apply for this position. They like to select young adults knowing they’re unable to to just quit the position within the first year due to a contract from training requiring you to pay them back . The pay is pretty decent but not worth it for some territories. You receive a reimbursement for mileage but depending on your territory you could be losing more money with gas than gaining . Management is okay , some are very encouraging. 

I have been working at HCP Concierge for almost a year now, the management is great, communication is open, honest and always constructive.

HCP offers career development opportunities, thorough training and attainable upward mobility. Great opportunity for young professionals who are looking to grow within a company. If you’re willing to work hard, you can move up quickly. 

The service specialist position does require a lot of driving, but HCP recently increased gas reimbursement and car allowance due to gas prices / inflation. Great position for people who are looking to be outside of an office environment. Clients provide the leads, so there is no cold calling involved. 

Company is continuously going and they are always investing in their employees. Benefits include tiered health insurance (medical, dental & vision), paid vacation and 401 K contribution. 


Management
Management is phenomenal. Very eager and happy to help in any way and very invested in your success at every level. The CEO is very invested in his employees and will just call to check in randomly or hold virtual lunches with team members just touch base and catch up.

Culture
I can’t imagine a better company culture. Very collaborative, approachable, and extremely friendly at every level.

Overall
I can’t imagine a better place to work. The company culture is exceptional. Every single employee at every level actively roots for your success and is willing to help in any way they can. The salary reflects the workload and work/life balance is great. Like any other job, you get out what you put in. If you’re a team player, have a good attitude, and work hard you can get promoted in 6 months. I would recommend this job to anyone with a good work ethic and positive attitude.

It really is hard these days to find a company that doesn’t  just treat you like a number. HCP Concierge treats every single service specialist like part of the overall family. The direction is always clear, the goals are always attainable, and the opportunities are always there for advancement. We are constantly growing and constantly working towards improvement every single day! It’s gotten to the point where this doesn’t even feel like a job because we’re having so much fun while attaining different levels of success each and every day. I know there are a lot of reviews they may say otherwise, but please take it from me you will never find a company that treats you the way this one does from the owner on down.

This has been my first "professional" job and it has been a delightful experience. The company culture is amazing and they really care about you as a person and your career goals and ideals. The benefits are great as well with a solid base pay, bonuses, car allowances, vacation days (and an entire company paid shutdown between Christmas and New Years!) and health/dental/vision benefits, and a 401k program. This position requires driving all day, but it feels like a quick work day especially if you have a good podcast to listen to. And there is a car allowance for maintenance, etc. I would recommend this company to a friend for sure.

I like many many others in this company started as an entry-level marketing position as an Associate Service Specialist. I have seen first hand for myself and seen for others in my team rapid growth opportunities. My managers listened to my goals and helped me to create a plan to achieve them with plenty of encouragement and help. I appreciate the company culture and benefits and has been an excellent company for me to continuously learn new things and advance my career.

I’ve worked at this company for almost a year now and I absolutely love it. Although the starting salary might be a bit low for the work depending on where you live, there are many opportunities to grow and get promoted...quickly. If you have a good attitude and are an outgoing person who is capable of working without constant supervision, this is the company for you. 

Job seeker beware. This company is the worst in the industry. Very volatile place to work, with ever changing tasks and goals. No clear direction from management. Inexperienced leaders follow the puppet model that is in place. Questions and logical thinking are regarded as hostility. No work-life  balance. And absolutely no raises. You 
will be treated like the mindless delivery

The company has amazing people who work there that are willing to help you succeed in your territory! I will say if you do not like driving a lot this job is not for you. You have a team you work with but most days it’s just you in the car alone driving office to office. Pay could be better but okay for a first job right out of college
