I've worked at Health Link Home Health as an Operations Manager for two years means having direct, day-to-day visibility into the reality of delivering patient-centered care in the home and how those decisions are made. During these two years I have seen the organization grow and mature, strengthen its structure, and raise standards in a way that is both intentional and data driven. Leadership is actively involved in operations and places a strong emphasis and prioritize on quality of patient care, compliance and outcomes. While the company has evolved and processes have changed to improve efficiency and clarity, quality of care has never been compromised. We do what is necessary for our patients, and the results reflect that commitment. For professionals who value structure, accountability, and results, Health Link provides a supportive environment with clear expectations.

Home health is a fast-paced and demanding environment. This is a high-perfomance environment with high expectations. The pace is fast, accountability is expected, and adaptability is required as processes evolve. This is not the right fit for individuals who are resistant to change or uncomfortable operating in a structured, results-driven organization. Expectations are high because penultimately patient care and operational integrity depend on it.

For the organization to continue it's growth, advice to management would be continue to identify, support, and invest in team members who are committed to the mission and willing to grow with the organization.

Overall, Health Link is a mission-driven organization with patient care at forefront that is continuing to strengthen its systems, support its teams, and improve how care is delivered in the home.

I’ve been working as an RN case manager here for about three years. Home health is not an easy job anywhere and it definitely requires good time management and independence. Expectations are high, but that has honestly been my experience at most agencies.

I’ve seen some comments about payroll being reviewed. I’ll be honest, the first time management wanted to go over my payroll with me it felt a little strange. But those conversations have mostly been about accuracy and helping me structure my day better, not refusing to pay. On days that run long you do need to request overtime, but I’ve never personally had overtime denied.

The recent change in the pay structure has honestly been a big improvement. Guaranteed pay in home health is very rare, especially guaranteed 40 hours. Most agencies pay per visit and if the schedule is slow you just make less, so having that stability makes a big difference.

Another big perk for me is the company car and gas card since I’m not putting miles on my personal vehicle all day.

The technology has also improved a lot since I started. Most of my documentation is already done before I leave the patient’s home, which saves a lot of time.

Overall the job is fast paced and expectations are high, but over the three years I’ve been here I’ve seen steady improvements in processes and support for clinicians.

The company values work-life balance and cares about the well-being of the staff may it be physically, mentally, or emotionally. The people you work with have compassion in what they are doing and works hard to make sure that the staff are not under stressed or overworked. The collaboration and communication with the team are praise-worthy and the main goal is the continuity and quality of care provided to the patient. When it comes to management, the higher-up are open and accessible to talk with as needed. Tasks are well-delegated and properly communicated. To be able to work with this company remotely as an RN assistant is something to be thankful for. The medical team are well-skilled and gives the best care to patient. Not only that, the openness of communicating with each other just to make sure that everyone is at the same page is something exquisite. The communication tools and EHR that the company use is also very efficient for the clinician and the whole team. I believe that this company will reach greater heights in the future since the people working and managing are all competent and the quality of care provided to patients are exemplary. The working environment and the work culture is at top-level. You will not feel "work" as something that you are tired about since you enjoy and love what you do at the same time, knowing that the company takes care of their staff's well-being overall. 

I can honestly say my experience has been a very positive one. The administrative leadership team is supportive, approachable, and truly great to work with. The work environment is welcoming and positive, and there is a strong sense of teamwork, communication, and appreciation across the organization.

After having worked 20 years in the healthcare field, Health Link stands out to me for its commitment to providing patient-centered care and delivering quality services in patients’ homes. Like any healthcare organization, change and turnover is expected; however, through strong leadership, both the quality of patient care and the level of administravive teamwork remain consistently high—even during times of transition.

One of the best parts about working for this company is the incredible support system. The dedicated office staff and scheduling team make sure everything runs smoothly, so you never feel like you’re out in the field on your own. Management is approachable, supportive, and truly invested in helping everyone succeed. On top of that, the team here is amazing—everyone works together, helps each other out, and creates an environment where you actually enjoy going to work. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
One of the things I appreciate about working here is that the job is not overly stressful. The company does a great job supporting clinicians and promoting a healthy work–life balance. The office staff handles many of the logistical tasks that often fall on clinicians at other companies, such as scheduling and coordination. Because of this support, clinicians are able to focus on providing quality care and doing the work they are trained for, rather than being overwhelmed by administrative responsibilities.

What is the best part of working at the company?
I’m really grateful to be part of a team where everyone is supportive and easy to work with. My coworkers are not only skilled and professional, but also kind, approachable, and always willing to help whenever needed. It creates a positive atmosphere where collaboration feels natural and stress is manageable. The working environment is very welcoming and motivating, making it easier to stay productive and enjoy each day at work. What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day at the company is both productive and well-balanced. I usually start by reviewing tasks and priorities for the day, making sure everything is organized and on track.

My experience at Health Link was incredibly frustrating due to constant micromanagement and zero flexibility for clinicians. Management squeezed out every billable minute possible, which created an insane workload that made it basically impossible to have any kind of life outside of work or make personal plans. The quality of my personal life was negatively impacted. The pay might have seemed high but it came at a high cost. They monitored every minute of your timesheet. There were constant issues with paychecks. The way they calculated pay was unclear, and you ended up having to chase them down just to make sure you were getting paid correctly. Every day was exhausting and stressful for me. Be wary of all the "perks". If the company had really focused on quality care for everyone, the turnover rate wouldn't have been so high. They weren't keeping people because of the benefits. They were losing people because there were serious fundamental issues with their operation

Health Link really lives up to their promise to put patients first. The office clinical coordination team provides field clinicians full support and offloads the "annoying" home health tasks, so clinicians can focus on care.  The team is flexible and provides training.  The environment is fast-paced, and the office runs on all cylinders at all times.  The cohesive environment between the clinical and administrative team allows team contributors to operate at high efficiency and promotes everyone achieving their tasks timely! 

I would seriously consider working at this agency! I have been employed at Healthlink for four years full time and have enjoyed the support the company provides. Healthlink sincerely cares about their patients in reducing hospitalization and promoting quality care in the home. There is constant communication with the team regarding patient care so you will feel supported throughout your day. Office staff help notify doctors and fax orders in a moments time. Supplies can be delivered directly to the patients home which saves time on travel. The management team is open to improvement and are always seeking efficiency. The pay is very competitive, and for full time employees they provide BMW'S, and apple phones/iPads. It is a small company with a loud voice. At Healthlink the energy is high, and the work is satisfactory.
