I was born in Taiwan and grew up in the USA and lived here for more than 35 years. I have been living and challenging life here. It is jobless due to my county and culture not acceptable until I met them here. it is slow scheduled and not given pretty often , but I am happy and thankful to meet them. I have a medical office and a lot of caregiver job experience. My goal is to finish the rest my health course and practice my job. The most very bad luck is that I have never been to a school where I could develop here by someone made the decision for my life. I wish everything could start new and upgrade myself and experiences. The staff are very nice and work very hard. They are willing to understand you through your life if you are stress instant push you off the road. The worst lesson is social work I had are very terrible because of the jobless  and no one offer me a job until I meet my mom and learn all the healthcare with caregiver to medical office and leasing agent. I hope this company can grow more and not just at home care or caregiver position. I hope to see it in the future. Thank you

My job Position was a Administrative Assistant Temp Position , and from day 1 training , working in the Oakland office was very welcoming . The staff there is a family like environment , everyone always so helpful and work as a team to make the day flow . The people here work really hard but Management  always make sure their Employee are happy and Healthy, so accommodating like I never seen before. We always have snacks , food catered monthly , (Paid Lunch breaks) Gifts for Holidays , and just for appreciation. We go on Employee outings like Warriors games , restaurants, Paint nights, and so much more . Its nothing like I've seen before.  The employee perks are always good but in addition to that, just the love and compassion they carry for their staff is amazing and I enjoyed every day being apart of the team. I would diffidently work here anytime they need me ...It was truly a pleasure and I am grateful. THANKS HEALTHFLEX OAKLAND OFFICE!!! YOU GUYS ALL ROCK

I have been working for HealthFlex Home Health for 3 years. I started as a filed nurse which was a great experience as a nurse. I felt that I had a full team for help to provide care for the patient. Supervisors and case managers to help. I was presented with a position to do Quality Assurance and I accepted. And this is the best job i ever had in nursing and health care. Pure and honest team work. Everybody is there to help everyone else to strive and provide the best care. I never feel drained and burned out. I know I always have someone to help me. I see the communication and team work for all the staff in the office and the field staff who provide care for patient. ALL IN ALL, the job is challenging but with great co-workers, team and supporting and encouraging managers and bosses, work is always positive and strong. GO HEALTH FLEX

It’s a growing company.  The owners can be generous with gifts for employees (sporting event tickets, gift cards, lunches, parties, yearly holiday bonus, etc.).  But, the culture in the office can be toxic.  Favoritism, huge workloads, lack of communication, lack of sufficient employee training, follow through, problem solving and teamwork.  Most employees (even your own team members) only look out for themselves and will not hesitate to throw you under the bus.  Lots of unhappy employees waiting for their opportunity to leave.  The revolving door will continue at this company unless they truly listen to employee issues and address them.

Great work environment! I really enjoy my job and coworkers, this a fun fast paced place to work theres never a dull moment in this family like environment. health flex offers awesome benefits and really appreciates the employees. We get monthly lunch ins, a paid lunch, we get taken to events like A's games, Paint & Wine, in office massages/yoga etc. Its definitely a place anyone would like to work in, boss and manager are very understanding and always willing to help if you have too much work on your plate. I love this place and will for sure continue to work here as it grows.

As a nurse in the Bay Area I can highly recommend HealthFlex Home Health agency as a wonderful place to work. Home health allowed me the flexible schedule I needed to spend time with my family, and everyone I worked with was very supportive and caring. Upper management truly cares about every employee and goes out of their way to make you comfortable and happy. The office staff are a huge support to clinicians out in the field! If I wasn't moving, I would love to continue my career with HealthFlex!

Not having enough patient to meet financial needs.

Work on the road do my job not sure about the environment and culture everyone do what they need too most of the time

Work on the road , not in the office can’t answer that question.

Great place to work as a flexible social worker. Ability to make own schedule, work weekends, evenings, etc. Staff is easy to work with and organized. All referrals are managed remotely through an app and echarting system. Great job as a supplement to part or full time work. Good salary and lots of work if you want it. Would recommend! 

As a PT employee, pay is per visit, however, whether or not you are bringing your admission and charting work home, the pay received is much less than one may initially assume. Visits take at least 45 minutes, not including drive time, charting, and admission/discharge paperwork. Oh, can't forget the time it takes to contact providers and actually discuss patient issues with them. Also, discussion with family member(s) that rightfully want to be abreast of what's going on with the patient. It seems this goes for most home health jobs.
