The work environment is a toxic one. The Lead lacks unprofessionalism and tact. He told me on this job “I can break the rules.” He would tell you to do things that were unethical when completing forms. Training is minimal, they will expect you to know how to automatically use their system. On multiple occasions I was reprimanded for not using their system properly when I was never taught how. Iasked for more training and it was never given to me. I asked multiple times for more assistance. Everybody shares each other’s credentials because you are not given access that is to all systems that you will need. You are expected to perform the job without this access.  I received the binder a month and a half in. You do not receive all of the resources you need. You will not receive pay based on your knowledge as other people who Did not have experience made more money than those who have knowledge. When I came on, the former supervisor told me about the disorganization of the company. They need some assistance with training, competing a manual, and having better processes. The benefits are minimal. The job does not understand each person’s worth. A pay raise wasn’t enough to make me stay, the work environment was too toxic. The manager was good, but the lead was horrible. I left the job because of him and the disorganization. This company has a lot of things they need to work on.

I have been with HealthFund Solutions for 2 years; cannot see myself working anywhere else. I was with this amazing company with only 12 employees and serving patients at four hospital. As long as you care about people, decent computer skills and the fast pace business, you could be a good fit! HealthFund Solutions has grown so much in two years and have sponsored many patients with Marketplace health insurance. Supportive management, training/learning is every day as not one patient is the same. The best part of this job, it is so rewarding helping those who can't get the government support they need to continue their medical treatment and assistance with disability. Good support from management staff, excellent health insurance benefits, vacation/sick leave, good pay, life insurance and opportunities to learn more and grow with the company.

This is a compassionate caring company. I feel like I’m helping make a difference in peoples lives.  There is a real dedication from everyone  at HealthFund Solutions to help serve those who need to have medical care but have no idea where to go or what to do because they are unable to afford health insurance. My personal opinion is no one should ever have to choose between getting the medical care they need or keeping a roof over their head and food on the table.

Working at HealthFund Solutions is one of those jobs, when you leave at the end of the day, you know you have helped someone.  It is a company that is quickly growing and has gone through some growing pains, but after being here for 3 years, it is one of the best places I have worked.  The work load is a lot, as it always is with a growing company, however, once you get settled in and learn your job, it really becomes a joy to work here.  The owners of the company care about their employees and let them know often how much they are appreciated.  The work environment has a family feel to it.  Sure there are bumps in the road, as with any fast growing company, but overall, at the end of the day, to know you helped change someone's life, that is so worth stress you are under from time to time. 

This company is extremely disorganized and lacks proper structure. Professionalism is severely lacking, and many of the newly promoted managers are inexperienced and ill-equipped to lead effectively. There is a concerning absence of moral responsibility and a failure to prioritize the well-being of staff. When issues are raised, management often refuses to take accountability and instead shifts blame onto others.

Internal communication is poor, and there is a noticeable lack of investment in properly preparing Insurance Advocates for their roles. Staff are frequently sent into the field without adequate training or support. As someone who owns and operates a business, I would never entrust this company with overseeing any aspect of my operations.


I quit this company less than 90 days. If HR knew better she would find a real career to use her credentials. Nothing will ever change without, the Director approval.The owners have no say so.Like they are clueless on how to run a company. I seen 5 people quit before 2 months. By far this is the worst company I ever worked for. I dont know where to start, i left my previous job ,for this company worst decision I could have ever made.The management is very unorganized ,rude and disrespectful. Care nothing about the patient only about getting applications done. I dont see this Company lasting no longer than a year being a Vendor at ORMC. If you are looking for a career please dont go there.

There is absolutely no job security. There is no organization, structure, trust, or benefits working here. You can AND WILL be let go for any reason what so ever. I have seen people be let go for retaliation, which is illegal in all 50 states.. the director is rude, malicious and does not care about the company, only herself. The director yells at employees.. I left another job for this as a career option. It’s not worth it! Look the other way. There is not enough time in the day to accomplish everything they’d like you to do. They do not listen to life as, and the people who make procedures are people who are not doing the day to day work.. the work load is unimaginable and absolutely impossible to complete in 8 hours.

If you want to work for a company that smiles in your face and stabs you in the back - this is the job for you! No matter how much experience you have, they will find every reason to micro-manage and criticize EVERYTHING you do! They are never satisfied with their employees that work the hardest to get the job done! Been there 6 months and I'm the 9th person to leave - including the manager I was hired under! The money "looks good" but don't expect it to be a long term salary! Overall, this company is a JOKE! Don't be a monkey in this circus! 

Not a good workplace culture environment. They speak diversity and cultural but that’s not always the case.
I was told during the hiring process that they are very open and transparent, but it doesn’t seem like that, I have not been listened to or heard out Since I’ve been working here by my supervisor!  I actually like my role, but when you are not heard by your immediate supervisor it’s extremely frustrating to perform at the highest level.
