During my two years at Hope 419, I became the third admin employee to be terminated. From my experience, the culture didn’t match the caring image the clinic presents.

Day to day, the atmosphere often felt tense. Management could be polite and smiling on the surface, but there was a constant sense of walking on eggshells. Emails from leadership sometimes came across as threatening or disciplinary in tone, and there were frequent closed-door meetings that left staff feeling uneasy and excluded. It didn’t feel like an environment built on openness or genuine support.

My second year was especially difficult. I was going through menopause while trying to keep up with the workload, and it took a toll on me. The COO acted like she cared—until she’s the one who let me go.

The day they later called a “partial no-call, no-show” and cited as a “potential missed patient treatment” was actually the day of my evaluation, where I later learned I was diagnosed with AUTISM, ADHD, BPD, and DEPRESSION. The appointment ran long because of testing and paperwork, but I stayed in touch and returned later that day. I even re-entered the patient’s appointment into the schedule AND personally completed their TMS treatment. 

In my opinion, calling that a no-call, no-show and saying a treatment was missed was simply not accurate. 

A week later, I was fired, and that day was listed as one of the reasons.

I’d had a verbal written warning shortly before my two-year anniversary, followed by a congratulatory email CELEBRATING two years of service. 

NO other disciplinary actions occurred AFTER that, and I was FIRED within TWO months.

I supported the company, attended charity events, and WAS proud to represent the organization. I cared  deeply about the patients and my coworkers, which made the ending especially disappointing.

The COO and Admin Supervisor are mother and daughter, and in my experience they control nearly everything—scheduling, write-ups, and terminations. 

When I reached out to the ONE person outside that family chain for help, she NEVER responded—and then SHE was the one who walked me out.

It was painful after how much I cared about the patients and the work.

After working mainly in emergency nursing for the past nine years, with a few years in between at another outpatient specialty clinic, working here has honestly been a breath of fresh air. The work is meaningful and collaborative in a way that feels intentional.

PTO is good, punctuality is incentivized, and there are consistent employee recognition efforts... you even get your birthday as a paid day off! It feels like leadership understands that supported staff provide better patient care.

Although there are challenging moments given the nature of the work, it’s incredibly rewarding to see patient progress and be part of a practice that prioritizes both outcomes and employee wellbeing.

Overall, this is a supportive, well-run environment where nurses are trusted, respected, and able to grow.

I absolutely love working here. I've been here over a year and have been impressed over and over again with Hope419's leadership team, company culture, and focus on work-life balance. I feel respected as a clinician and as a human being, and feel my clients are respected by every member of our staff, as well. I am supported in my role by a helpful leadership team, but am also given the freedom to grow as a clinician. I've never worked somewhere this great, and hear regularly from clients that this mental health clinic is the best experience they've had seeking services--10/10 would recommend.  Oh! Another bonus? Meetings that should be emails...are just emails! :)

I feel truly blessed to have found a workplace like Hope419. It is hard to find a work environment where you feel both appreciated and like you are making a difference. It is a beautiful work environment and the team is incredible. The workday is busy but can be done with good time management. I can truly say I feel like I make a difference each day and I know I am not just a number. I look forward to growing with the company. 

I am very grateful to have the opportunity to work at Hope419. The work atmosphere is positive, inviting and laid-back. The management team is supportive in its leadership and welcomes my skill set as a Therapist. I feel appreciated by our multidisciplinary  team as well as by my clients and their families. I look forward to growing with Hope419 as it continues to promote resiliency and provides a safe space to those moving forward on their healing journeys. 

This is an excellent place to work. There is a focus on work-life balance, clinicians are competent, admin staff are helpful, and the benefits package is fair. The compensation is also fair. The only con to working here is that if you're an hourly clinician, your pay may not be consistent due to clients cancelling or having open spots.

Working at HOPE 419 has been a very positive experience. I feel supported from all levels of management and appreciate the support and encouragement from co-workers. The work feels meaningful and as a team we are always seeking new ways to help and support our patients.

I’ve been with Hope 419 for about a year and it’s been incredible. I feel heard and supported by staff, fellow therapists and med providers. It’s a great and open environment to learn and share your strengths with the team. 

Hope419 is hands down the best work place I have ever been in. The other staff and management are amazing, I have never been so accepted at a job, such a wonderful company to work with. I cannot wait to see it flourish even more over years to come! 

The work culture is horrid. The staff is DRAMA. They expect you to do a lot of work outside of scheduled hours. They expect you to do your other co-workers work if they are behind. Always overworking staff and not hiring enough staff to help out.
