What is the best part of working at the company?
My immediate coworkers were awesome and helpful. I really liked the actual job and working with the patients 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
One of the most stressful aspects of working at this company was the lack of support and collaboration from leadership. Clinical input and professional judgment were often overlooked, despite staff being the ones directly working with patients and understanding their needs most closely. The workload was consistently overwhelming, and employees frequently felt overworked, unheard, and excluded from important decisions that directly impacted both staff and client care. Communication often felt one-sided, which created frustration, burnout, and a sense that employee well-being and clinical perspectives were not truly valued.

Could you imagine going in to work utterly afraid for you and your patient's safety? Afraid that a patient would assault you or the other patients? That's what it's like working here. You never know what's going to happen. A patient might escape, a patient might form a shank with shards of a urine hat. You may just have to lock yourself in the nurses station and await the local police department. There is no security. Upper management has no care for the staff or patients safety. Incidents as I mentioned above occurred and nothing was implemented to prevent further violence. I am currently working out my two week notice.  Can't wait to be free of this place, free from the ugly grip this job has on my life and happiness. Would not recommend. 0/10.

Poor management, schedule bounces around, one day off one day on, ect. Never get the time off thats needed. Absolutely no security on site, we have to call the hospital to have them come over, which is often. Very unstable and sketchy admissions, many of the same people being readmitted. If on-call you only get $3/hr or use ur pto so takes away from when u really need it. Poor medical benefits. Absolutely terrible groups! Mostly ran by BHTs who didn't have ANY training to do them. Adults are lucky to have 2 groups and day otherwise they sleep or watch TV or stand at the nurses desk. 

Initial employment with Horizon Health offered a completely new opportunity to learn and grow with a team led by an extraordinary manager.  My manager was the highest example of talent, knowledge and willingness to share that quality.  My experience included compliance auditing of physical rehabilitation and psychiatric units in acute care hospitals.  The role included documentation of each area of reporting and making recommendations submitted on a weekly basis.

When the company was sold, the new company had their own staff for this purpose.  However, I continued to work in other positions.

I managed and mentored 3 Financial Analysts and 1 data Coordinator.

I learned that mentoring and teaching is a strength.

The most enjoyable part of the job was helping Operations and Sales with strategy and financial analysis.  

The hardest part of the job was delegating because I loved the actual work so much.

Managing day to day as a manager of an inpatient unit

If........Corporate didn't insist on medically unstable admissions in a facility with a crash cart consisting of one 02 tank& one portable suction machine. Goal was"grow the facility" vs safe care within acceptable limits for a small psych facility. DON great person but corporate goals took precedence over staff and patient safety

Completing and mailing proposals. Learned the EAP Industry. Management was great. My co-workers were great. The hardest part of the job was working under constant deadlines. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with great people; team oriented.

This company went above and beyond for me as I have worked for them. They even created a job title for me because they believed in me. They are a great company to work for and everyone that I have worked with have been very informative and helpful. 

My job was monotonous. If you don't produce enough Sales Leads by calling their database over and over again..you're in trouble. Also, you NOT to think outside the box in order to do your job better.
Decided to leave due to these restrictions.
