I was optimistic about this job when I got the position. However, after a few months I began to see things within the company that I didn't like. People from corporate were disrespectful and although management stated they would address it, that never happened. You're not allowed to take vacation for a whole YEAR. They only accept you being off If you bring a note in (doctor). If you pay attention you'll see there are positions open all the time and that's because people get fed up with the clickish environment and not to mention you are overworked and underpaid. Health insurance takes most of your check if you choose to sign up for it. Management treats you like children, if you go over your hours they make you leave early the following day. If you work on a saturday they take you off a day during the week so you don't go over 40 hours. It would be a great company if they actually valued their employees.

Management makes the job and company sound like a walk in the park…it isn’t until you start on boarding that you realized it was all just a facade. You are NOT allowed to miss work for being sick without a doctors note. I mean what grown adult goes to the doctor every time they are sick? More times than a little they will double book patients for the same time with only one scanner and expect you to work through lunch and bribe you with a “gift card”. Management has no empathy for sick kids…the turnover rate is crazy high…reason why you see all of these positions posted every week. Management is very much shady. Management will text or call you the day of at 6a asking if you can cover at other locations you have never even been to…for the pay it’s definitely NOT worth the headache! As a tech I should’ve took head when I spoke to previous techs who had worked there before.  

Houston MRI puts lots of effort in doing the right thing while trying to please the referring doctors and patients. We put a big emphasis on getting quality images while maintaining patient safety. This is not always evident to people on the outside. Our days are usually busy with making sure patients get scheduled and everything is ready for the appointments. The hardest part of the Job is not being able to get everything done where everyone is pleased. It is very enjoyable when you know you made a difference in someone's day/life. Whether that is an employee or a patient.   

Manager was never available.  Was not able to identify nor correct clear issues amongst employees.  Made for a hostile environment.  Manager had very little concern for the center.  Dirty, temperamental ambiance, employees took on managerial positions when not told or asked to.  Overrun by two employees in particular.  Behavioral issues amongst employees.  Not a friendly atmosphere.

I enjoyed my time at Houston MRI mainly because I enjoyed helping people/ patients! 
I came to work did my job to the best of my ability & at the end of the day I believe everyone appreciated that both my managers & patients on the other end of the phone. Whenever I ran into scheduling issues because that’s what I did I was a scheduler I always had my cubicle neighbors, on site managers, or even off site tech’s & mangers for help or just a couple clicks away! Room for growth & benefits are all a plus. 

Working was difficult at first, trying to understand all the procedures. The management team does a really great job listening to the problems and trying to fix the issues that arise. They also support you when there are upset patients. The only reason I left was that I was a part-time floater and driving through tolls and the gas money was not adding up. 

Houston MRI strives to help their patients have a positive experience during their imaging procedures. 
They communicate with the patient's provider and insurance company to ensure accurate out of pocket quotes. 
Teamwork across all departments, from scheduling to the radiology report, puts this company above the rest. 

I love working at Houston MRI. It has a good work environment and communication is the top priority to maintain a work life balance. Even though we work on different locations, we try to get to know each other to get to know each other better. 

I have been with the company for quite a while and truly enjoy seeing it grow. The changes that are continuous, help us become that much more efficient and give the best care we can to our patients. Good work/life balance. 

You are overworked and underpaid I will NOT reccomend this job. You will be burned out and want to quit immediately after a couple months. Everything is about money! Do not care for the employees we get worked like dogs! Underpaid and work like pets! Favoritism definitely!
