The cooperate office is a joke! Half the lies on their website do not even pertain to their location but yet have it as if its their location that runs smooth and gets awards, wrong! The people in charge of making "good,smart" business decisions, oh boy, forgot that part of "good and smart". Their support for their other offices is simply not there! Oh goodness and the person in charge of marketing is simply laughable I don't even think she can spell good, smart and business decision let alone understand how to make one. She is a nasty cold hearted person as well, but its okay because the way you treat people always comes back to haunt you ten fold !

I have worked for several Healthcare agency's in the Lehigh Valley. Human Touch is the most respectable, organized agency I have ever worked for. From the administrator to the field staff, everyone knows their stuff. The administrator knows all aspects of the company, she could do any position on the drop of a dime. Everyone is friendly, all disciplines work very well together. Most Importantly we ALL have the mentality that our patient come FIRST!
I must mention, here in the Lehigh Valley we strive on excellent care for our patients and for the past two years we have had a 0 deficiency rating. I am incredibly proud to work for this agency!

I have been working with this company for some yrs I really dislike it as of now NEVER had any complaints really until New supervisor every time you turn around , always switching your clients and hours up don't have consistency, they will send you to client's homes without even checking the welfare of the living conditions of the homes, (gas leaks while heating up the house with a gas stove ,dangerous situations etched u

My day would start by checking and responding to emails, scanning in time sheets, faxing PT/INR results and composing the patient plan of care. I learned a lot about medicaid, medicare, medical supplies, medications, billing and coding, private insurance policies and procedures. Human Touch does not have a strong management team , my co-workers were very nice and helpful. The difficult part of the job was prioritizing, everything was a high importance. I enjoyed learning new things I had no idea about.

I enjoyed the atmosphere within Human Touch Home Healthcare Agency. However, with the present state of the economy I would not maintain my financial obligations on the salary that I made. My manager was like family and I probably wont have the close knit relationship with another manager with another organization. The hardest part about the job was having to make the decision to leave. The most enjoyable part of the job was coming to work each day and being challanged to grow, learn and think beyond who I am.

I worked for Human Touch for about five years. I worked on various cases some hard and some was just a short assignment.  I worked with patients that needed care after surgery, patients that was on hospice, patients with diabetes and need special care. I worked with many patients and met some wonderful people that come all different backgrounds. I enjoyed this job the most because you actually see the difference you are making and the thank you, the smiles and just a touch.  The hardest part is saying goodbye.

Employees have been let go with absolutely no notice. No sense of job security as positions are always listed as available on indeed even when occupied. Several payroll mistakes. Poor communication from upper management. Low mileage reimbursement. No 401k option. No growth potential. Discombobulated onboarding, thought it might be a scam as I was offered the job with the recruiter prior to any interview with a hiring manager. Absolutely no training.

Nepotism; special treatment for relatives and double standards in treating staff

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very tense; poor training and unclear roles.  Lots of favoritism 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Miserable, staff unreliable.  Problems not felt with directly.  Low morale

This company seeks to destroy any reasonable person hired, and they will purposely lie and blame previous employees for the flaws of the executive team.   The owner is out of touch with any employee that isn't working directly in her office. Senior managers are allowed to lie and speak negatively about employees based on personal feelings and non- work-related beliefs.  I would use EXTREME caution when considering this environment for employment.
