This company started off okay in training, but they have system issues galore!!! If you are having system issues for over 10 mins…which is more than likely. You will have to clock out and wait for them to be resolved before you can clock back in, and if you don’t they will take it out of your check. They also will not allow you time off unless you have the hours to cover it. You only get 6 hours of PTO per month, and that’s not enough to cover a shift. If you have a vacation or something coming up or you all of a sudden need a few days off…forget about it unless you’re willing to take the occurrences for missing those days you weren’t covered for (you can only get five before they fire you). You may also have to endure a shift bid, and the shift you agreed on when hired with the days off you wanted will change. They have pre-made schedules for you, and if you can’t make one of them work you have to put in your resignation even you already had a schedule that you agreed to that worked for you when hired. Management is not the best either they will not help you unless it is like a life or death situation for the customer. If a customer calls in upset and asks to speak to a manager. Unless it is something “manager worthy” they will not take that call from you. You will just have to sit there and get cussed out by that customer and you are not allowed to disconnect, and if they disconnect you are obligated to call them back!!! This company is a joke I wouldn’t recommend anyone working for them. You are not paid enough for what you have to go through with this company. You are better off looking for a job else where unless you liked be unappreciated and stressed out all the time.

I've  worked for IGT for 17 years as a field service technician and found that it lacks the proper balance between private life and work. Initial training was terrible and inconsistent. Equipment and training related on keeping technicians safe came late. Some 7 years after my employment started.  As the years passed more and more responsibilities were heaped on techs to help maintain the position of managers who take all of the information that has been simplified for them and bring it to the meetings to secure their job.

The inability to professionally satisfy the field techs by constantly making promises and excuses by management caused a large number of us to leave since the world offered better opportunities. In addition, the ability to professionally advance yourself as well as develop your skills is virtually nonexistent. The opportunity of making money via overtime as well as the ability to hold on to it with " hours worked " was curtailed. So unless you like working most of the day ( 12-14 hours each day) and have almost no life ( i.e. famliy, children or hobbies ) I would NOT recommend working in this company.

Nice people but not very good management. A lot of endless work like a hamster in a wheel. Your raise hinged on your ability to manage your " zone " which was all but impossible since more and more responsibilities were dropped on your lap.

A typical day revolves around heavy workloads, unrealistic expectations, and zero managerial support. The management style is reactive, not strategic, and employees are often left to navigate issues alone with no guidance.
What I truly learned is how politics and internal connections outweigh actual performance. Promotions are not based on merit but rather on who has the right relationships within the company.
The hardest part of the job is the constant increase in responsibilities without any compensation or recognition. Salary progression simply does not exist, even for high performers.
The workplace culture lacks transparency and fairness, which creates a demotivating environment. The most enjoyable part of the job was working with colleagues who were trying to do their best despite the system, but overall, the experience was overwhelmingly negative.

They provide benefits such as fully paid transport and medical aid all cost to company.

Micromanagement, constant rotating schedules that you receive last minute. Management is very toxic and unorganised.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
People are great to work with. Employee well being is not prioritized and there is not enough training done to educate you regularly on your calls.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Quite depressive, stressful as you take calls constantly like a robot. They watch you very closely when you are on your breaks as well.

Fast paced and can be stressful, but the support is present and attentive. Fabulous benefits and competitive pay. Plenty of room for advancement, and management notices and acknowledges if you take the initiative to excel through reliable attendance and performance, especially when you go above and beyond in your department and show willingness to assist newer co-workers. Management works very hard to keep all agents informed and provides regular feedback. Upper Management supports the leadership team in building strong teams. The on-site company culture is very strong. I highly recommend working on site, as there is a true sense of community.

They do not care about their employees. One week after training we were told IGT would no longer be taking calls for Agero and would be switching to another company and would be in office only. They told us we’d be out of work for a two weeks in the meantime and had to use pto to get paid which a new employee does not have. Everyone who could not work in office they made up reasons to fire you. Made ridiculous point system for attendance one minute late logging in even one minute late logging in after break you get a point it takes 10 mins to get logged all the way in with vpns and all that there were multiple ppl let go on the same day they are pieces of s*** for that 

This is a new company so it is expected to be a little green, but the fact that this company never once took any concerns seriously makes the work unsafe. Had one manager make comments about me and the other push me off like my concerns never mattered. Even after addressing with the head manager it was hard to feel safe and in the end my own health and concerns had to come first. The job was fun and somewhat easy but it isn’t worth being in that environment and culture. There were few people who made it worth it but in the end I had to leave.

Pleasant and engaged. Management was professional and always available to answer questions 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Logging into computer, read email, take calls either inbound or outbound, interview clients and document interaction.  Attend weekly meetings to discuss company expectations, performance goals.

Although the majority of the staff are very nice, there is a serious lack of supervisors that are available to support you.  Once you are taking live calls, it is very difficult to find help if you have a problem or question. They have a chat on teams, but even then it takes a while to get help. I wasn't even done with my OJT for one skill when they decided to train me for another. When I became overwhelmed and anxious due to the lack of support, I asked to be taken off the second skill temporarily until I felt more confident. They said it wasn't an option.
