When I initially started working for IKS I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was interviewed by the HR manager and HR supervisor (both of which have left the company) and was told that there would be "some" changes to the work environment and that there would be room for advancement. After about 3 months of working my manager resigned and from the way it was presented to her team the split was not mutual we were literally informed of her departure the day before her last day. She was replaced by a manager that was formerly a CSR rep on the team that had little to no knowledge of what the position actually entailed and how to enforce any of the rules. Meetings that were held for management only was released to the agents on the floor by the new manager as "hush hush" information. By the 5th month they hired another manager that came from another company (which I will not name because I've never worked for them) which has poor reviews on this site as well. He was also not as knowledgeable as he should have been and he avoided taking any escalation calls. A lot of the upper management that was there when I originally started left prior to me leaving. This place has a good foundation, but they hire people with the least experience for management roles so that they won't have to pay someone that knows what they're doing.

Have worked for company for 7 months. Have been remote and have loved every minute of it. Of course there are days a bit stressful due to high call volume but there is always someone to assist you during those difficult times when assistance is needed. Have gained so much knowledge I’m such a short period of time. Everyone is always very cheerful and management always encourages you and gives feedback on job performance. I am hoping to move up this year in a job position and feel as with a new learning opportunity recently that may be where I could possibly head. OT is offered when it is busy which I love. Awards are given and acknowledged during monthly meetings. The pair is fair has benefits which are fair. I truely enjoy working for this company and for once don’t dread working daily and enjoy all the knowledge I have received. 

I clock in at 7am, meet with my Physician I get paired with and work until last patient has been seen. There is a 1 hour lunch which is pretty much mandatory.  Management is awesome, they will respond to you within 24 hours, most of the time immediately. Company sends you computer and screen so if you do not have a laptop or computer, they will furnish everything needed, except for internet, which I use wi-fi and access my router with a landline which IKS supplied. Overall extremely good company, you get paired with the same Provider every shift, so there is no working with a different Doctor and having to learn preferences. If full time you will have opportunity for benefits with United Healthcare (as of 2024). PTO earned every pay period. Holiday pay. There is always a Provider needing coverage if you want to work extra hours. Work with numerous specialties including, Neurology, Pediatrics, Oncology, Family Medicine, Ophthalmology, and many more!

IKS Health is a pretty decent company to start your career with, especially if you’re looking to gain experience in healthcare operations, billing, or client services. The training and onboarding process are generally well-organized, and you can learn a lot about workflows, revenue cycles, and client interaction. Management is approachable in most departments, and there are opportunities to grow if you take initiative and show consistency. The environment can be fast-paced at times, which helps you develop time management and multitasking skills. However, teamwork and reliability can vary depending on who you work with—some colleagues are great and supportive, while others may not always be dependable. Overall, it’s a solid entry-level experience that helps you build a strong foundation for future roles in healthcare administration, customer support, or finance. It’s a good stepping stone for anyone wanting to understand how the healthcare business side operates.

What is the best part of working at the company?
This is not the place to work this company do not care about their employees they give occurrences when you call off do to a death in your family if you miss a day they will take your PTO time without asking and still give you an occurrence you gotta wait 3 months to get your bonus it is a racist enviorment they reps like s++t this company is stressful and depressing

The pay and the micro managing is the worse

Stressful very stressful and depressing and the pay is not enough


What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Everyday is the same nothing changes but more rules are applied to heavy work load

I was working for IKS up until the closure  at my office I liked the people overall that I worked with  but this becomes the long and short of it during my time there was never any raises and they decided to close the location where I worked and offered little notice of the closing the medical benefit were extremely overpriced  and you would end of spending a large portion of your check for medical benefits and most of their employees would come and go due to the pay structure and no raises and  the company did not do anything to try and keep a lot of the employees its like they wanted them gone because it was one less person to pay

My engagement with IKS resulted from their acquisition of my original employer.  Initial optimism quickly transitioned to unrest, and voluntary resignations of long-term co-workers significantly increased.  

The job was nice because after working there for three months we started working from home. The customer service position got so bad because you take the incoming calls and handle the complaints but nothing get resolved afterwards. So next month and the month after and the month after you have the same patient calling you back about the same issue that still has not been resolved. Now you have to think of lies to tell the customer as to why the issue isn't fixed a year later. It started to be so stressful and it wasn't worth being yelled at anymore.

Nothing. They use you then kick you the curb like you’re nothing.

Putting your all into your work and then shutting down your location and do not even care all the lives they are affecting

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Toxic and frightening. Senior management always undermining the supervisors. Always confused on what we are supposed to do. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
No structure always being told do this do that

Was employed only for a month . I was hired as a contractual employee for three months with a promise of being hired on after that . LIES ! anyways from the start the management was rude and two faced . I was thinking I was actually getting help from my team leads but they were going back and telling the supervisors that I was asking the same questions over and over again . Constant changes made it imposition learn , just a horrible environment. Not to mention low pay !
