I was the first person brought into the organization’s in-house billing and collections team. Because of my knowledge, experience, and work ethic, I was quickly promoted to Lead. I truly enjoyed my role and the team I helped build, and I genuinely saw myself growing with the company long-term.

That changed when our Revenue Cycle Director left and a new leadership structure was brought in. During that transition, I took on a significant amount of interim responsibility — including many manager-level and even director-level duties. I made myself available to leadership around the clock and handled tasks far outside my original scope, with the hope that my efforts would be recognized once the new director or VP came onboard. I genuinely believed this would lead to a promotion into a supervisor or manager role.

However, when the new VP arrived, the dynamic shifted. She made many promises to the team, but instead of developing internal staff, she immediately brought in two managers she had worked with previously. These positions were never posted internally or externally, so no one — including myself, already functioning at that level — had a fair opportunity to apply. Despite being the team’s Lead and acting in an interim management capacity, I ended up having to train the manager who was hired over me. The responsibilities I had already been performing were handed to her, even though I had the experience and history with the team.

This pattern continued as she hired multiple representatives from outside, again without posting or making those opportunities available to existing staff. Not long after bringing in her own group, she laid off nearly everyone who had been part of the original in-house team. The justification was cost savings by offshoring, but the impact was clear — all the staff who helped build the department from the ground up were replaced

If you’re confident in your drug dosage calculations, this might be one of the least stressful RN roles you’ll ever have. The pay is fair—neither the lowest nor the highest—but manageable. Strong IV insertion skills are essential, as you’ll often manage multiple patients on IV pumps simultaneously.

One of the best aspects of this job is the incredible support from coworkers, both on-site and remotely.  The team includes outstanding LVNs, RNs, and NPs—I truly miss working with them. The Directors of Nursing (DONs) were great as well, and the patients I cared for were genuinely wonderful. Once you’re familiar with the commonly administered medications, the workflow becomes fairly smooth.

However, the biggest drawback was the micromanagement. As a nurse, don’t expect to focus solely on direct patient care and documentation. Due to staffing shortages, you’ll also be expected to take on administrative responsibilities, which can be overwhelming. As a nurse, I applied to this job because I wanted to work directly with patients and infuse their necessary meds, not sit behind a computer all day. Leadership should shift focus from expanding the number of clinics to strengthening existing locations and addressing gaps in administrative support. I hope the company resolves its issues, because it has everything else it needs to succeed.

Not your typical nurse practitioner job where you see 16+ patients a day, struggle to keep your visits on schedule, by setting firm boundaries on what you cover, and at the end of your long day still have mounds of results to review and charts to document.  The nurse practitioners at Infusion for Health oversee all of the day-to-day running of the clinic as well as reviewing the infusion patients' charts to assure everything is in place and safe for the patient to receive the service and insurance to cover it.  The nurse practitioner also teams up with the RNs to ensure every medication for infusion or injection is prepared properly.  A great opportunity to grow yourself as a manager/ supervisor as well as constant learning about new, cutting-edge medications for a huge range of diseases and disorders. You have to be flexible here as it is growing and changing all the time.  You have to be able to wear many hats, feel comfortable functioning independently, but know when to ask for help and defer to the process.  

I've had the opportunity to work at Infusion for Health through a period of significant growth, and it's been exciting to see how much the company has accomplished while continuing to focus on patient care.

What is the best part of working at the company?
Nurses are subjected to extremely abusive conditions. They are expected to perform all front-office, back-office, and administrative tasks, in addition to their nursing duties. This overwhelming workload leads to immense stress, and the compensation they receive is significantly lower compared to other professions within the nursing field. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Requiring excessive work without adequate time or coverage for breaks, and lacking lunch breaks on most days. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It’s okay, but very stressful situations can be overwhelming.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Starting as early as half an hour before your shift begins, be prepared to turn on all equipment that the front office assistant should be responsible for. Also, prepare charts that should be delivered and prepared by other teams, starting with patient care and continuing with work without breaks or lunch breaks most of the time. We have to cover a wide range of tasks that are outside the scope of nursing and include numerous administrative tasks that need to be completed before your shift. This stressful schedule pulls nurses away from their focus on patient care.

I joined this company believing in its mission to positively impact patient lives through compassionate care. However, during my time here, I observed that patient prioritization often seemed tied more to medication profitability than clinical urgency. This approach made it difficult to believe in the patient-first values the company promotes.

As the company rapidly expanded, opening 50 centers, the support for staff didn’t scale accordingly. Many coordinators were assigned 15–20 centers each, yet the expectations for output remained the same. This made maintaining quality of work and patient care increasingly difficult.

Despite early assurances about job security, a significant portion of the team—including many long-standing, dedicated employees—were recently laid off, while some responsibilities appear to be shifting overseas. This has understandably created an atmosphere of uncertainty and low morale among remaining staff.

While there are talented individuals here and the company’s mission is admirable in theory, my experience suggests that employee well-being and long-term support may not be a top priority.

This is a fast-paced and positive workplace where teamwork, initiative, and collaboration are highly valued. Everyone works toward the same goals, creating a supportive environment focused on delivering the best possible patient experience. The company's patient-first mission is evident in everything we do, and employees genuinely care about providing compassionate, professional care.

One of the best parts of working here is the people. I have had the opportunity to work alongside genuinely caring individuals who are always willing to support one another, share ideas, and work together to find solutions. I truly value the partnership, collaboration, and thoughtful perspectives of my colleagues.

This company started really good. Since last year went down hill completely. Overworking employees and not enough staff, on top of everything they are getting layoff left and right, not matter if you are a RN or a billet, you got layoff, high managers promised a good work environment, they broke all promises, people are getting fired unnecessary, all billing department got layoff, all positions went to outside agency fir company to save money.
Your positions there are at risk, company is billing claims with un credentialed nurses, of course, insurances denied the claims. If Medicare finds this issues not only the company, employees can be punished and not allow to work insurance anymore. Run away from this company. Your secure at job and personal reputation are compromised there. Yes, I am a former employee who suffered all previous mentioned.

I have been with Infusion For Health for about 90 days and have been very pleased with the way I am treated. I feel supported at work and feel that I am making a difference in pts lives by providing excellent nursing care for everyone. Infusion therapy is a specialty that many are not familiar with. I am so glad to be a part of this growing team. 
I really enjoy the monthly staff meetings and individual follow up with my supervisor. This company does care about your happiness at work. Complete transparency with the company's growth and future plans for technical and employee support. All questions are answered and addressed on the spot. I have learned so much in a short period of time and I am excited to continue to learn from everyone.
