You are expected to leads to sales which is expected in half of the insurance industry understandable but when the majority of your leads are calling about a loan,$6400 subsidy, stimulus check, or a check that they can use on gas, groceries, etc. You end up having trouble convincing clients to purchase a policy due to the fact that they only called in for one of those benefits. They end up saying they are going to report you, curse you out, or just simply hang up, you rarely get a few clients who actually call in about getting coverage for them or their families, and when you do it feels good. The company has a metric system though they expect you to close 1 out of every 4 calls that you take, but bear in mind what I said in the beginning about a total of 95% of the calls you get are referring to those adverts that are posted so you rarely close a deal. the training is only 5 hours and to put it simply it goes like this(This is our dialer convoso understood next, This is how you use health sherpa understood next, This is slack and this is how are channels work understood now get on the phones and make "you" some money) I'm not joking that is the training basis, training is obsolete with the company you get 3 meetings a week Mon, Tues, Thurs and the Monday and Thursday meetings are just press releases honestly they update you on whos doing well and any updates and then end the meet on Tues day its training meet and mind you the training meet is just a basis of are you using your rebuttals and this is the American rescue plan make sure you tell them they can get additional benefits through here after they get a plan or make sure you let them know about carrier rewards okay bye. Now you may well ask what if I need help on a call you may or may not receive it honestly. You will ask your managers for help and you will wait 30-40 minutes for a response so you will have ended the call or the member would have lost patience and hung up. you may get assistance from another co-worker which is how I got my assistance mainly. Now let's get into the 1099 portion of the company they want you to work a full shift so if you want some freedom and want to be able to control your hours when it's best for you to search somewhere else they want you to minimize your breaks and maximize your time on the phone. I took regular breaks like 30-minute lunches and 2 15-minute breaks and short bathroom breaks along the day ranging from 1-3 minutes. I was told I took too many breaks and too long breaks and needed to be maximizing my time on the dialer. I was also told that if you do too many calls and don't close you should hop off the dialer and wait awhile and try again or just wait until the next day. The hourly is the only safety net you get with this company without it I think the majority of workers may have left. i think this is enough info to make a decision if you want to move forward with this company i apologize for the long paragraph and hope my info helps you!

It starts with a 5 hour training day. Although you are promised 15 dollars an hour, you are compensated at 50 dollars flat for training. And that is only if you are on their payroll system, which they promise the link will be sent to you .It doesn't come until 2 weeks after training. They tell you, that you should be on the phones 2 days after training. Training is laughable. You are only shown how to change the prospective client's AOR to Insurance Made Easy. There is no timecard system, so you have to to pray that they put in your correct hours. In terms of workplace culture and CMS ethics, there is none. Having worked for a number of insurance agencies/companies, this has to be the most shiesty. Unless you are used to working for questionable companies with questionable practices, I suggest you run!!


Let me first say that I made decent money here so if that's all you're after then go for it. If you want to work elsewhere when you're done here though? Sorrows...prayers...because even though they say they aren't captive their upline refused to grant me my releases for TWO WHOLE MONTHS!! Also, when they changed the entire call structure and required us to follow a new script OR RELINQUISH OUR PAY there was no training for those of us who were a little nervous about it. We either had to get with the program or leave, which is fair but at least train me on this new direction we're taking. So yeah...good money and people will love you if you're making sales but the second you dare need help like a human good luck and good luck finding a job afterwards.

I would like to start by saying the interview process was a breeze. Like any job, just make sure you have your ducks in a row with your licenses/experience depending on your role. Management, Trainers and Tech. are all very friendly and welcoming. In this business, you can tell who is genuine and compliant within the first few days. The 1099 position allows me to be flexible and take breathers if needed. I’m excited to help grow this business and so far everything down to communication has been great. I’m certified for both ACA and Medicare Advantage going independent so I feel I came in at the perfect time to be apart of a successful team that has a high bar for integrity. 

Horrible place to work. They do not pay you when they say they will. They are a job that praises you one second, and then block all of your accounts and send you a termination sentence in an email. They also tell you that they pay for a trainings, bonus, and hours and then make you wait for weeks to receive it. They are very poorly managed, they never ever want to give you a straight answer on anything and honestly they basically just throw you to the wolves to figure everything out and the second you do it wrong your fired. Also, they don't have a time card your able to see they have "someone" that supposedly does that for you and you still never get paid correctly!

Do not work here! Now I left my good job to work for IME. To find out for months they would not be ready for us to get in the phones because it was a start up company, they advised us to get other kinds while in waiting. Since they started up the company has been having issues people are not able to get paid. Now I started a new job! I still believed in the company but I wanted to wait until I had savings because I know I was not going to make money here. They let me go after waiting all this time. Now that's fine but they did not tell me I was let go I had to call and ask what was going on. Do not trust them. Literally everyone their wants another job. All they will do is just recruit more people that will believe the lies

Work from home isn't for everybody but if you don't really have a choice because of kids and can be self-motivated then IME is great! I joined the team end of last year. I won't lie, things were a bit slow but since the new year it's been great. Leads are always flowing, the team is mostly inbound which is a nice change from other groups I've worked at. Even though work is remote, the managers do a good job with checking in and trainings. Unlike many other places, I do think management listens to their agents to make changes for the team. Really cool to see my recommendations help others!

I highly recommend this insurance company for their exceptional service and peace of mind they provide. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to go the extra mile to assist their customers. I've had multiple positions at this company and found it relatively easy to understand and fully complete tasks. They offer a variety of options and the confidence I personally needed in my efforts finding potential clients the coverage they needed. Overall I’m beyond happy with the growth and treatment my managers awarded me with during my tenure.

I was never paid on time after they changed the payroll system. They have a bunch of supposed life and health agents who need to be micromanaged because they act like they are incompetent of doing a very simple job. There's nothing complex about it. Too many want to be seen and heard on the messaging app. They're the typical place to work if you have ACA experience. The leads are horrible and you can't hit the number they want if ppl don't qualify or you get hang ups.
