I worked as a remote agent in the beginning when there was just 7 of us working remotely and it was great. The calls were great, the quality of the leads were great and we were able to help a ton of people. But as the remote section grew and they brought in more agents things got bad.
- All lies. They expect you to sale to people who aren't qualified, because the leads are bad. Most of the leads were people searching for free money from the tik tok and youtube ads that are all misleading. 
- The workplace culture or undertone of it is if you want to succeed and make lots of money be prepared to lie/manipulate your way to the top.
- The managers were nice and truly tried to help the agents but they could only do so much with upper management breathing down their necks about the numbers. I even had a manager tell me to let my moral compass to be my guide when I was called into a meeting about my sales declining because I was getting off the phone with people that either weren't qualified or called in asking for free money. Even the fronters were lying to the customers and telling them once transferred over to ask for the money or they coached the customer on what to say once they got on the phone with us, the agents. 
- The hardest part of the job was honestly all the stress that was involved to sale, and to sale even at the cost of your soul. I was upset when I was fired but I was in  no way mad that I had lost that job. The stress and anxiety was overwhelming, the hours were ridiculous 
- This company is and was the ending of my more than 10 year career in insurance. I find it all shady and I have yet to come across an agency that both values its agents and has integrity. Why is it so hard to be an honest agent, that truly has concern for the clients and make money at the same time?


I wanted to express some honest feedback regarding the current work environment and operations. There are several key areas where I feel the professionalism of the job is lacking, which is ultimately impacting my overall experience and morale.

First, the pay structure seems inconsistent and doesn’t align well with industry standards. Competitive compensation is a core aspect of any professional environment, and the current structure makes it challenging for employees to feel adequately valued and motivated.

Additionally, the general atmosphere among the team lacks professionalism. Colleagues often don’t take the work seriously, which creates a less cohesive environment and affects productivity. In any professional setting, mutual respect and a strong work ethic should be foundational. Unfortunately, the attitudes and conduct of some team members compromise this, making it harder to maintain a constructive work dynamic.

Finally, the management style could be more transparent and communicative. Effective management is essential in setting clear expectations, providing guidance, and creating a supportive atmosphere. However, inconsistent communication has led to confusion and a lack of direction at times, which can be frustrating for anyone trying to perform their best.

In summary, there are real issues here concerning pay, team attitude, and management that contribute to an unprofessional work environment. I’m hopeful that by addressing these areas, the organization can foster a culture of respect, motivation, and higher standards moving forward.

Honestly management was pretty supportive a lot of the time and kind and patient, however I felt it wasn’t genuine. If you don’t sell they tell you to go home and you just lose out pay for that day. When you are selling they’re lifting you up which I mostly believed it’s because they get a lump sum of what you’re making. Also you’re not supposed to call consumers after 9pm they do here, you’re supposed to give all the details of a plan even deductibles. I want people I sell plans to be fully aware of their plan. The advertisements to call in here is misleading so customers are angry which I understand. Forget life you won’t have a life. Forget contacting the CEO I think he just cares about what’s in his pocket..I don’t even know what the owner looks like you never are introduced to him for such a small company. There’s so many other things that happened but I want to keep this as professional as I can be. Just hope the CEO really looks into the company cause I don’t know if any higher ups care

Don't work here, by far the worst company I've ever worked for. If you're looking for a base pay, it's not worth it and if you're looking to make commissions don't even look at this company. Their leads are all a joke.They lied and said during the interview that the call volume is 70% inbound and 30% outbound, but it's almost 99% outbound and the inbounds that do come in aren't always inbound callers. 

The sales floor is absolutely horrible, there is obnoxious trashy music playing the entire day at almost full volume. It ends up distracting you from the calls and making you hate being there. There are barely any agents on the floor, and the agents that are there don't show up on time. The floor manager was never prepared for the things the new agents needed and was always running around.  

Also almost every time you step out the building there is a cluster of workers smoking cigarettes. If it's not cigarettes, they're hanging on to a vape/e-cig. For the training it was just repetition of the script and watching the trainer go through the system, nothing was hands-on. Upon leaving the company, they didn't pay for the hours worked. 

I will say for the training to only have been about two to three days, it was very thorough and touched on a lot more than previous companies i’ve been with. In the end, once it was time to get on the phones the leads were horrible. We were told they were “hot leads” but as new reps we wouldn’t get to speak to hot leads until mastering the not so hot ones. I don’t understand how we’re supposed to make sales and learn unless we are able to get good leads. I’m tired of these companies promoting good leads to draw you in and not delivering on it. Being cussed out and hung up on call after call isn’t going to get me sales. Also, the ethics regarding what plan to enroll customers in was very suspect to me. I’ve always been advised at previous jobs to disclosure ALL details of the plan to make sure the customer agrees. They just wanted us to enroll them in the least expensive premium plan no matter what the deductible or out of pocket amounts were. That just doesn’t seem right to me at all. Just seems like a way to make quick buck and have angry customers call back. 

Currently employed as of 2+ years(Customer Service) so here's my overall opinion.
All "call center" environments, you're gonna have your fair share of opinions about the managers (at their time of employment) & agents. One bad agent/manager DOES NOT reflect ALL staff here. As far as my experience, managers are all cool, understanding, and we ALL work together. Everyone is like second family. We work to make money here and the goal is sales, good performance and good customer service. So personally, if you don't at least show you are willing to make money, build clientele/reputation, you won't be here long. I've seen people come and go, but the ones still here past after few months  or years like myself and actially been a while know; if you are here, it means they believe in you. Bring a jacket/mini blanket cause it's  ALWAYS cold. Weekly pay, OT + Commission during enrollment season. Chill place if you here stack your money and understand the goals they want and you want for yourself 

Insurance Pipeline Inc has been one of the best jobs I've ever had. Since the moment I started here Management has continuously gone out of their way to assure my learning experience is the most successful, your coworkers are all supportive and it's a great feeling knowing you can come in every day and just enjoy what you do. When I started, I was training as a pre-qualifier for Medicare Supplement and now I'm part of the management team. The amount of support that's be given when I was pregnant was extremely overwhelming and incredible. Coming into work every day, everyone is always so encouraging, happy to see each other, motivating to have an even better day... It's just a really great company to be at if you're looking to not hate your job or your coworkers.

Insurance Pipeline is A great company to work for especially if one is looking for financial growth and stability. During open enrollment is the most challenging because of long hours and more days of work, but in the long run hard work pays off. The paycheck will surely reflect what you put in which is always a smile on my face :). I like to work hard so I can reap the benefits and Insurance Pipeline sure does provide the leads that are the main source in getting the sale. Insurance Pipeline is a diverse culture, which I love. Hardest Part of the job is just staying confident during those difficult calls and using the tools you were given. The most enjoyable part of the job is the positive energy coming to work and getting my job done and meeting my daily goals as well as being around great management team and coworks.

I do not come from a call center background nor a health insurance background. I did not have alot of confidence in myself in this setting. In spite of that, I came to work everyday on time, and kept trying. The staff were amazing in all the help they offered me and in answering all my constant questions! ( and boy, did I ask alot of questions) Without them, I would have given up. The management team past and present, pushed me right out of my comfort zone...they saw something in me that I didn't know I had. They boosted my confidence and encouraged me to become a licensed agent, which I am proud to say, I AM!!!    Sooo..... my opinion of this company is... be the best you can be and it WILL get noticed by mangement.

This place is a revolving door for insurance agents, I really didn’t understand why until I got out of training. We started out with 20 people in my training class and by the end of the 2 week training we were down to 4 people no lie. Most of the leads we received were looking for the extra $6400 subsidy money NOT actual health insurance, which is nonexistent. These types of enrollments can put everyone’s license in jeopardy, which is the main reason why I quit. By the way they require you to be on camera through the entirety of your shift this also drove many agents away since they didn’t tell us this until after we got training. This is what I call remote micromanaging, and I wasn’t willing to put up with it.
