i absolutely love having the ability to choose my shifts & the pay is great. But everything is generated by an automated robotic system. if you call out for emergencies do not expect for the company to understand because they do not and you will be reprimanded for an emergency AND penalized for it as well. I’ve been struggling with a health condition & homelessness recently and this company has done nothing but punish me for my emergencies example getting sick with the heart rate of 42 beat per minute & then they penalize me for having an emergency. This company expects you to be a robot nothing more nothing less. A lot of there employees on higher status do the worse work because of status within the agency and it’s unfortunate to see the people that are at the highest levels do little to no work to go above & beyond given that they are paid at a way higher rate then the regular staff working at the facilities. i have attempted to email them text them and NO ONE will get back to you when you try to make an attempt of communication. You can tell them you just had a heart attack & they will say “i’m so sorry to hear that but unfortunately with it being your second call out for an emergency we have to place you on suspension” how does that sentence even make sense? this is why there is a shortage in Nurses & CNAs but instead of this medical field & these companies fixing the issues that causes employees with longevity to leave their career for another one. The medical field truly isn’t appreciative of the ones that stuck it out for them and those patients they speak on so much but the moment you reach out about laws being broken they don’t care. I will add that i picked up a shift at Westfield Gardens & because i spoke up to the facility about them passing the wrong trays to the wrong patients with the wrong diets Westfield Gardens then placed me on a “do not return” list simply because i told them that what they were doing wasn’t legal and they could potentially cost someone their life that wasn’t anywhere close to being out the door on life.. and as far as i’m concerned IntelyCare is enabling these facilities to continue what their doing regardless if it’s the law or not & they won’t go through the steps or measures to ensure the safety of the patients they are concerned so much about when it comes to you calling out of a shift.. but the moment you vocalize a concern or speak in the fact neglect or abuse is taking place they’ll turn a blind eye just as fast as they preach about the patients needing care… Shame on the medical field and shame on this company for enabling those things because your employees that truly care about these patients are mistreated & under appreciated so they seek better employment & it’s so disappointing to see that these facilities would rather lose a caring worker just to spare the company & the field bad publicity.. all around the medical field has gone to waste…

I have only been with this company since February, but so far I could not be happier enough with the way this whole service works. We have nurses and aides leaving their jobs to work for Intelycare because of our reviews. Sure, there are hiccups in the online system, and you won't always get someone on the other line that is having a fabulous day or a manager that is the most helpful and gives you everything you ask for. For about 95% of the time however, they do their best to help everyone. The abilities to make your own schedule, and adjust it if need be(within the appropriate time frame of course). There are facilities that do cancel alot, and even worse do so last minute, but their cancelation rate is shown, so there should be no shockers for the most part(plus picking up last minute shifts are more lucrative). It's the risk you take working for a staffing agency. The facility is using them to fill the holes in the schedule, but the "house" employees will always take priority, like they should. Yes, they need us, but we need to remember that they have holes to fill, and you get the assignment you get, I've had too many aides get upset for getting the same assignment. If that's the one needed, that's the one you get. If you don't like it, don't come back to the facility.

Working for this place has been the 1st time in my time as a nurse where I do not take my work or stress home with me. I can walk out of that facility and leave it all there, because I know, that if I really, really don't like the environment, I don't have to come back, knowing that I can't literally go to a different place the next day and not worry about how I'm going to feed my kids or keep my house.

This company offers alot of freedoms, they do "offer" health benefits, meaning they work with the companies to get you a discount off the premiums, mostly by income level, but not like working for a facility or large company. Let's also not forget that they offer very competitive rates and compensation. One of the highest in my state anyways(CT).

I tell everyone I can about this company, both good and things that can be improved(because NO company is perfect). This is one of the best staffing agencies to work for, and I'm glad I found them!

The thought of intelycare is great , the pay looks amazing for a CNA compared to other agencies. The negatives are you ALWAYS get cancelled and facilities are usually 40+ miles away. You can try to pick up shifts but they usually get cancelled as well. Most of the workers from the facility treat you like garbage because you get paid a lot more than they do and also there are a lot of lazy agency workers they encounter so they assume that everyone is lazy.You get rated from a facility on the app but if you use your emergency passes the 1 they give you , the facilities rate you so poorly that you go from a 5 star employee to a 1 which makes it impossible for you to even get shifts. That is crazy considering they give you 1 pass every 60 days and the one time you use it you may as well not try to work. The ability to control your schedule is great especially when you have little kids but also you can not count on receiving a steady paycheck. When you call to see why you keep getting cancelled they all tell you the same thing.. the facility is overbooked but you eventually find out the truth when you ask on facebook page why you would be getting cancelled. I wasted a year with them hoping to pick up at least 3-4 shifts a week but in reality I only worked 2 shifts with them in the whole year and one of those shifts I had to drive 45 minutes away to find out that it was a 4 hour shift and they never updated it via  app. Stay away from them as you will waste your time thinking wow i can make so much money with one shift!

This job allows you to pick your own shift. You decide when to work, when not to work and where you want to work. You get paid every week so it's a nice way to have extra cash every week. This job is for you if you don't mind going to different facilities and working with different people all the time. Also, if you are confident working on your own. If you worked in a long-term care, nursing home facility before, it's the same - the ratio is high, don't expect to have under 6 clients and with an electronic medication dispenser! Yes, you push a med cart and pop pills. You need to be on your toes - your license is in the line (same with any other nursing job). You also have to make sure you are computer/tech savvy. this company uses an electronic sign in - sign out which is great for tracking time. In addition, if a facility is using an emar you would have to navigate with it by yourself and of course, it could be a pain. Rule of thumb - as long as you know how to access MAR, TAR, How to read and add notes, you are golden - don't stress yourself out. As to all contract / per diem jobs, your shift can get canceled a few hours before your shift starts. So before you get ready and start your day - check your phone for a text, email or voicemail if your shift has been canceled. Call the office if you are having any issues! Not sure if they will follow thru, as I called before and looks like they are really not on their toes when it comes to contractors needs. Assignment per hour varies on the location, but it's pretty good compared to other markets.

Was left to do all showers, covid patients. And everything else the in-house staff didn't want to do. Had no access to charting info and was not familiar with their platform it wasn't POC, PCC. Staff Shared a Unit with no assigned patients and I was penalized and DNR'd for not finishing the charting. When I explained to Intely I was told I needed to drive an hour back to the facility to complete all the charting and the other staff's involvement didn't matter because they are only responsible for me. But if I didn't touch every single patient with work being shared, why would I falsely say that I did and document on everyone just so that none of their staff would be held responsible?  Also was lied to and didn't have access to my daily pay for several days which is needed when the only shifts you can get are in another city. They do not have much clientele right now and high cancelations. I have driven out an hour for a facility to cancel when I'm 3 minutes away, then had to drive an hour back home with no compensation. Also facilities do not always tell you when they're in full covid outbreak, or that you will have 30 patients to yourself. There is a lot that goes into this as a provider it can be so stressful and there is no grace shown back for everything that you do but heavy penalties for the things that you don't do. You're not really independent because you do not have many choices. Companies say that so that they will not have to offer you benefits or anything for that matter. Was going to give one star but some shifts are good staff and decent pay but the pay had declined as of late. 

Intelycare was great at first. Then it slowly started to go down hill. They don’t genuine care about you as a worker, you’re disposable no matter your work ethic. I’ve never gotten a bad rating when it comes to being an IntelyPro 5 stars ⭐️ always, I’ve introduced them to plenty coworkers who’ve switched over to work for the company & facilities were always requesting me personally due to how good I was. Then all of a sudden I was shut out of my account. First of the month so you know everything is due around that time. I went to sleep seeing all the shifts i picked up released & woke up to being completely shut out of the app with no explanation so of course I was livid. This is how I make a living and still able to keep up with school. Think they care ? Absolutely not. Idk how many times I reported unresolved issues. Then me not being able to work was their fault not mine, due to their app that was down that they literally lied about. I emailed them for my side of the story and screenshots of the issue being their fault. Clearly accountability or caring about your workers don’t exist here. Good money though and that’s about it. Shame on your intelycare waste of 2yrs working for your company.

As an RN, I loved the idea being able to control your own schedule and traveling to various environments for work. All was well until I had an issue with the application used to sign up for shifts ( they upgraded the app). My status of employment was accidentally terminated so obviously I went to management for help. I called and texted (multiple times) within a few weeks time frame, speaking to a number of different people in their office. Management falsely kept promising to figure things out and get back to me, only to leave me hanging for so long that I finally gave up. It’s quite disappointing that the two gentlemen who started this company hired recruiters and other employees who do not seem to care about their current employees, only focusing on recruiting new ones. One of co-founders was much more involved before they expanded. Both himself and the other gentleman were kind and supportive and I am sure they would have helped but it has been very difficult trying to reach them. I would recommend re-training and changing the company culture for a smoother growth. Best of luck!

What is the best part of working at the company?
It used to be the flexibility and the pay rate, however now their pay rates fluctuate so much it's and they've lost some facilities that are closer and with some of the hazards and aggravations you have to deal with it's hardly worth working for Them anymore

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Having your shifts canceled on you that were set up at your convenience at the very last minute and then having them try to fill you with something that they didn't convenient for you. And aside from hostile regular staff that you have to encounter in certain facilities But yet you should be OK with the pay cut and still continue to book with them.. SMH they care more about staffing then they do their actual employees

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It differs from facility to facility some people are very pleasant and some are just unwelcoming I'm not going to be a hypocrite you have to be the judge of what's comfortable for you

What is the best part of working at the company?
Convenience. Being able to pick your shift where you want it is a definite perk. Also the pay is good.

You are pretty much on your own. Like most independent staffing places. You need to be on your A game if you want to not have problems.

The company is mostly on line. The environment is online. So that is whatever people/nurses want to make it. The culture is the current vibe, independent,powerful a sense of I can do this. Confidence.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It's like most independent nursing jobs. You show up at least 15 minutes before you should, acclimate yourself to the environment, of course make sure you check in with your floor supervisor make sure the assignment you took is accurate, get report , work your shift in the most professional way you know how. Give report to next shift, find supervisor,log into ap. Say good bye until next time. Leave no unfinished paper trail or unfinished business.

the app itself is ok dont have to many issues customer service is rude at times walking into most facilities your short staffed and if they know an agency is coming in they will leave the patients saturated in urine or feces has happen multiple times multiple places been to some facilities where I've taken care of up to 32 patients which in my eyes is crazy called intely they pretty much said that your job deal with it in an 8 hr shift running around with no help most nurses won't answer lights or have attitudes. I've been to other some places where staff was nice and worked with a few girls that were team players which is always a help dealing with what we all deal with covid has completely made everything horrible and intely care will lie about facilities not having covid but when you walk in the door every room is on percautions and then customer service doesn't care . if you have an issue  sometimes management will lock your account so you cant pick up.
