I am a current Intercare employee and have been for nearly 12 years - along with many long-term team members who welcomed me on day one. There is supportive, encouraging work culture - from the top downg. Team members genuinely want to help and often volunteer to assist with workflow issues. Managers regularly check-in to assess workflow, team morale and ask what can they do to help. There are company/division/office-wide promotions, contests and holiday gatherings throughout the year to encourage engagement and make work a fun place to be.

If your desire is to work independently, with 24 hour time frames. This is the place to work; management involvement is minimal. Meet your deadlines both to client and company with less than 2 percent error you will find this is the place to work. If you seek team environment and  "all hands on deck" this is not the place for you. Expectations are realistic by industry standards. Unfortunately, case load not.

A typical day at work involves reviewing files on my diary for the day, working files up for settlement if needed discuss settlement plans with my attorney, return phone calls/emails to brokers, attorneys etc. 
On a monthly basis we have round tables with the client to discuss claims and request settlement authority.
The best part about work is the people I work with and the account itself, it's one of the best accounts I have worked on.

This is the company's flagship account.  Unfortunately, the client knows this and there tends to be abusive behavior from certain county representatives.

If you can not take things personally and not get involved in the petty politics of the County things should work out fine

The company was good to me, very supportive in promoting my career.  At times the workload was overwhelming. I was able to learn under the direction of a great supervisor and team.  Company was understanding when I went through a personal crisis.

I am actively developing my professional skills here, this will be a great learning experience for the future.

Great parking, enjoyable coworkers, understandable management, and there are plenty of food options very close to the building for when you forget your lunch.

It's very busy. Work environment is good. Good work life balance. I have a good manager and other supervisors. Workplace culture is good. Activities committee is a plus celebrate monthly birthdays. Quarterly employee recognition.

I feel that over the 15 years that I have been at Intercare I have learned so much and met a lot of amazing people who were willing to share their knowledge.  I've some incredible clients and vendors.  I do enjoy going to work to see what the day will bring.

Coworkers were cheating on timecard, and nothing was done about it. loud and could not do your work. If you complained, they retaliated. Thye allowed certain people to not do their work and complained about the good workers. turnover was constant. 

The culture is collaborative, and employees are part of a team.  In addition, employees who want to grow have an opportunity -- as many job categories have a Level I, Level II and Level III to allow promotional opportunities.
