From day one of hire, this company has shown the lowest quality installs, ill-treatment of new employees, and moral compass in regards to valuing policy higher than moral standards of simply doing the right thing in the workplace. Working here pays higher than most other companies in my sector doing the same trade, though the amount of stress in working here is and will certainly be stacked/multiplied higher than any other company in my sector doing the same trade of cabinetry. 

      Due to the market of cabinetry being so small in Northern, AZ, no one can find trustworthy, high moral and high quality/ high skill cabinet trades people with the right set of mindset and professionality to carry on the repairs & installs. 
   
       In my position, you will be thrown under the bus, hated, hounded and berrated with disrespect, slandered and will often feel very very alone in facing day to day problems. Your entire team, bosses and HR are virtual and will have little to no connection to you at all as they are all in Central, AZ, and your field team will end up turning against you instead of backing you in a time of need. You will be the sole Person Responsible for any and All things that go Right and wrong with ILG’s cabinetry after your schedule is overloaded when it is clearly overquoted with 0 given training or guidance on day 1 of hire (it will be weeks before you actually get your work phone & tablet to actually do your job, good luck). 

       The great Pro of working at ILG is, you will ALWAYS have work to do no matter what happens. The biggest and saddest cons of working at ILG is you will ALWAYS feel under fire as the company has been extremely behind in terms of proper-qualified staffing, has been for years in need of higher standard upper management in my sector and worst of all every day you will become depressed at the fact that there is nothing you can do to fix it all while your fellow team members continue to gossip about how You, the only 1 person to both service and manage everyones cabinets in an entire city alone, cannot handle it all after the company has been years behind on work order repairs. There is just about 0 work flexibility in this position as there is no one to cover for you if you are sick or you need personal or emergency time off; the objectives will simply stack. This position of cabinet field manager has been a recipe for disaster, workplace drama and industry-wide hatred that has truly negatively affected the hearts and minds of just about every single cabinet/finish carpentry journey serviceman that has come through. It certainly has for me as I have experienced everything on this review in the past 9 months, things have in fact become much worse and will be leaving as soon as possible.

When I started here I got a big raise after 90 days. My specific department was so understaffed  which resulted in me being trained quickly and sort of carelessly. I was told to reference an out of date manual after asking questions. This was quite stressful as it caused issues down the line and made me unsure of myself/afraid to ask my group for assistance. I ended up asking a coworker instead of my supervisor. During my reviews I was encouraged to ask questions, but then told I ask too many which results, in a poor score. The work schedule used to be extremely accommodating for last minute issues and I was genuinely happy for awhile.  I did not have to talk to out of office clients, which was a huge perk.
Fast forward to the company management changeover: no more last minute emergency understanding, the inability to clock in early if arrived early, we were extremely delayed and left in the dark on reviews for raises. Once given raises, they were quite poor and extremely inconsistent with others (it is not illegal to discuss wages with your coworkers). They constantly threaten that if you are not working good and fast enough you will lose the hybrid ability (except for when it is at their convenience). 
This company processes an extremely high amount of orders per day and expect your to assist others and work on other projects. The work can be very confusing; if this then that.. except for when these other things happen..then you have to do that..
Every week, if you are not overworked, you have meetings with your team and manager. In those meetings you discuss the same exact things ad nauseam and there is never a resolve. It is always, we are working on it or you need to change your process to accommodate the other departments short comings. Everything is always changing, forget what we told you do do last month, change your notes and do this now. 
When I started I loved all my coworkers, when I left, I was only sad about one coworker, you cannot trust the people in your department no matter how friendly they seem.
Oh and I was given a gift card for Christmas but it did not work, my bosses boss left me on read. They do not care about you, it's all fake. 

The company was a great company before the merger with ISI and since then has been a sinking ship. They work you to the point of either you quitting, getting fired, or leaving to the competitor because they don't know how to disperse work loads accordingly, point fingers rather than help, and a few are downright untrustworthy. The recent Customer Service manager D.V. has a major lack of leadership, has constant complaints from all his team that he does not help and pawns off issues to his leads, even causing one of them to take a position in the warehouse rather than stay in this position because he's too focused on his intimate relationship with one of the office girls which HR has done nothing about. The office staff that is not in management made this place pretty fun to be at and had a diverse group of individuals that formed a pretty tight nit group. Some of the field guys were even cool to interact and work with.

On the note of Field guys, a number of current and former ones I have heard have consistent feelings about their Field Operations Manager that he looks like a good guy to work for but is very untrustworthy and plays heavy favorites which caused a few of the good and helpful field guys to quit or get let go. In my last days he pulled one of the few most helpful field guys into his office for helping a colleague figure out an issue and told him not to help us in any way because he felt that our manager needs to help us more which my manager as said previously doesn't. 

Since that merger there hasn't really been any pros to working for the company besides the pay was decent, when the company was IRG and ran by the original owner and building Operations Manager this company was a 5 star company to work for and they know a everyone of their employees by name and really treated people well. They are still with the company and try their best to keep things the way it was but the corporate buyout has killed that energy.

I worked at the Sacramento location for 9+ months before quiting.   I worked as the primary forklift driver, shipping recieving, invintory and warehouse.  My supervisor was the inventory manager.             
         I started at $16 a hour and we agreed at the time of hire that it was only for a trial period to prove myself.  He made several promises of raises that never happened.  I rembered a conversation with the invintory manager adressing the yard department guarenteeing pay raises when we moved into the new building on Pell Circle.  At the 6 month mark of employment I found out that he was not even alowed to give raises.  I asked for a raise at 6 months and the opperations mannager, hr, and invintory manager said i was topped out.  Topped out? How could i be topped out and never recieved a single raise.  I was never told $16 a hour was topped out at the time of hire.          
           I stuck around for 3 more months and asked for a raise.  They said no so i quit.  It seams the the opperations manager has a favoritism towards certon employees.  Im not saying he is a racist but if only the mexican employees are getting raises then maybe he is.  I fell totaly used and set up from day 1.  I was trying to pursue a long term career and grow with the company.  All i got was fake promises and a dead end job.  I believe this is why the employee turnover rate is so high.                                                                                                
    ILG recently merged with CDI to try to take over the granite counter top market.  They just spent a fortune on the new shop, kuka robots, and a photo booth that isnt even operational.  They shouldnt be surprised when there production numbers didnt increase from the old shop.  I think they found out the hard way that you can have all the state of the art, high performance fabrication equipment, and still not make a profit.  The managment is a joke and they are losing employees because of it.

I have not been so unhappy working for a company before this...this is a company where no one gets fired or in trouble for anything so it's extremely hard to get people to do their jobs. When we complain about other departments not doing their part or getting us information instead of correcting the issues we have to do more work to go around them. our management team is basically good listeners we voice or issues and document them and nothing is ever corrected I stared 2years ago and we been getting promised of things changing sense before I stared all that has changed is my department changes our procedures to accommodate laziness and stupidity. Op and production are basically crips and bloods we are both overworked and under paid both our managers are a joke so we spend our days arguing with each other even though we are supposed to be "on the same team" the workload is ridiculous especially while working from home we are expected to order several lots that are rushed and missing information in little to no time I get lots released to me with dates for yesterday on a consistent basis and I am expected to get them ordered ASAP our management never stands up for us and we are forced to take responsibility other people's mistakes. 
The pay is also a joke people go years without getting raises and covertly moved into positions where they are doing more work. And the benefits are extremely expensive and the company stopped matching 401K.


All I can say is if you are presented with a temp-to-hire job in AR or AP at the Milwaukie location, don't take it. The accounting manager runs a constantly turning-over crew of temps where people only stay maybe a few weeks or a few months, and then they're gone one day, replaced by someone new who has to be trained all over again which makes it chaotic because they're always short-staffed as people have to be brought up to speed. They basically have a revolving door of employees who THOUGHT they were temp-to-hire, only to find out there was never any intention of hiring them in the first place; it's a really efficient bait-and-switch too, because they've figured out it's cheaper to just keep replacing quality-minded temp-to-hire folks (who don't get any benefits) for free, than it is to actually hire them on permanently with benefits and pay the successful-placement finder's fee to the agency. And the worst part is, they'll gaslight you with how wonderful you are and how you have a future there, and later tell you you aren't good enough to hire permanently but you're more than welcome to stay on as a low-paid temp with no benefits for as long as you want. Seriously?? It's no wonder they're constantly having to advertise because the job market is still too tight for anyone to put up with that kind of garbage. To be perfectly honest, I never would have wasted my time with them in the first place had I known it was slated to be just a temp job.

Prior to working at ILG, I had no experience in the flooring industry. My manager really trained me and showed me the ropes. Within my 2 1/2 years of working at ILG, I took on more accounts and responsibility quickly. I was often praised and commended for my hard work, dedication and being a valuable team player. While this was good, as the saying goes “talk is cheap” lol. I should have been compensated more. The role of the order processor entails so much more than what is written in black and white. Many things change constantly which adds more work to your job and it can be frustrating at times. 

My team consisted of about 10 people and I wish the job environment culture was better. I enjoyed the leniency of just doing your work with little to no supervision. We had no supervisor, just a manager that was almost always swamped with tasks daily and at times it was frustrating not being able to get assistance but I could rely on other team members for help. I do wish that management would have been more accessible. 

Overall my time at ILG was certainly enriching and rewarding. Grateful for the opportunity to learn something new and grow.

I've been with the company 5+ years as a Customer Service Rep & started off great. Lots of teamwork, busy but somewhat manageable workload in a pretty relaxed environment. After some time, changes & going public, employees matter less & numbers matter more. There's constant pressure on CSR's with no assistance from manager; only made to feel like we aren't doing enough with ingenuine, repetitive "we appreciate you" that seems like its quoted from a manual when they need something done. We rarely get clear direct answers or communication & have minimal say in changes or decisions that affect us. Blatant favoritism is shown by CSM to certain employees even to an uncomfortable level & there is a huge lack of interest when trying to communicate issues or concerns to them. Certain employees are allowed to not work as hard as others because of who they know while other hard workers only get rewarded with more work & are publicly chastised in front of employees. That said, the fellow employees are wonderful & very supportive of each other. Its a laid back, flexible environment which helps. Great insurance benefits but a little pricey. 

I was told that I was valued and had meetings regarding expectations. However despite this, I was yelled at and condescended to in emails by management. What I was told was expected of me was constantly changing, and there was no support or help to clarify things. If I messed up it was my fault and there was no help finding solutions. When trying to work there is never positive feedback, only consequences when mistakes are made. It's a very "do what's always been done" kind of culture even if there are better or more efficient ways and they don't really care to hear how things can be made better. Everyone is always gossiping and being rude about other employees, or very defensive and unprofessional during work. There is a lot of micromanagement of both work and time and keeping tabs on whether your breaks are exact and if you are even a minute late. Usually the workload will increase and change without any incentive or even conversation about it. There is a high turnover rate for employees and people are let go with no warning or terminated when trying to quit. Tried to make it work but it was not worth the money.

ILG doesn’t even deserve one star-I only gave them that because of the unlimited supply of coffee bar and snacks they stocked for the employee kitchen area.
Unless you are Management, the financial analyst,  related to a manager, or a good butt kisser—forget the idea of working at ILG and it being a positive and worth while experience. I wasted almost a year of my life there-the only thing I learned was how an unorganized, understaffed, and poorly managed company is ran. Management is rude, and if your in the accounting department—forget about work life balance. There is no such thing. They will change your duties everyday and add twice as much and during month end-unless your willing to work more than 7 days in a row-you won’t get all your tasks done, the management won’t assist you-And they Get upset when your not done with all your work. They refuse to hire more staff even though they need to. The only non backstabbing staff there are the warehouse staff and the girl that did inventory. ILG will eventually self destruct and i wish I would’ve read the reviews before I started working there. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT INVESTORS!! Save yourself the hassle of having to write a review in the future. TRUST ME.
