Here, you will be treated with the bare minimum and expected to constantly perform above maximum.

You will be paid 1/2 to 2/3 of industry average, such that management can schedule you for constant, mandatory overtime and only then pay you close to the average.  You will be required to be "on-call" and to clear up your schedule without compensation.  You will be pressured to stay for an extra 4 hours, twiddling your thumbs idly, needlessly waiting for management to sign documents they could've signed during your normal shift.  You will be ordered to ignore mistakes and to overlook regulatory inadequacies. 

This is a place that will exploit you with unrealistic deadlines and constant management hostility.  This is a place that was not long ago class-actioned for wage theft and lost.  This is a place without integrity in quality, which will encourage or force you to smudge truths or lie to pass studies or restore equipment to operation.  This is a place that praised its employees for record profits at a year-end luncheon, only to have its own employees complain months later about not having anything left after rent and bills.

Indeed, your job here is not to validate equipment nor to protect product quality.  Your job is to ensure that production never stops, no matter the damage to product quality, production processes, equipment, or morale.  There is no respect here. Terrible benefits.  No growth opportunities.  5 PTO days per year, and 4 sick days per year that expire every year.  Inadequate training.  No professional development.  Goalposts and timelines shifting with such frequency that weeks of prep can be wasted.

You will not come home after work and feel proud of what you've done.  Until I finally learned to tell management to back off, my stress was such that even my personal relationships began to strain.

I pray you have the choice I didn't and steer clear of this place.  But if you don't have that choice, treat this place as the two-year community college degree that it is.  Learn some skills, beef up your resume, then move on.

Working for packaging department is one of the lowest position for this company. As I was an ambassador for the first six months, I have no access to insurance or 401k until after that timeframe. A typical day at work involves doing repetitive and simple task such as capping vials and folding boxes. While these are easy tasks, doing it for 10+ hours is just unfulfilling and tedious. Co-workers are all nice and easy to get-along with, even though everyone is tired and stressed from lack of sleep and life. SUpervisors are nice although they are clearly stressed out so don't get on their bad side. Schedules seem to change suddenly without notice. I was schedule 8 hours shift from 5am - 2pm. However, during my first week, it was changed to 4am - 3:30pm all of a sudden. This is definitely a place of "get paid, get out." There is really no upwards movement for this position. Once you are in this department, you are stuck here with a tiny raise each year. Apply only if you enjoy long hours or need quick cash, as the hiring process is quite easy. 

I worked there at first as a temp and simply put, it's an okay start if you want some experience under belt. But long story short, leave within a year. The culture at my building was abysmal beyond comprehension. The assistant to the boss will berate you for the littlest thing and the work has a ton of gosspiers who tell your secrets. The area will suck your energy dry if you stay longer. If you suffer from anxiety, don't even consider this area. It's not worth it. They are currently not planning to hire more counters and limiting the staff as it is. So for those who want a 4am shift, expect to feel extra tired. Otherwise, avoid this place and find a better work.

The training was rushed and poorly structured.  The primary inspectors (PI) refuse to answer questions for the rookies who need help.  If one makes a mistake expect a written warning with no chance to improve.  

I was promised physical labor in the "Packaging" department yet I was confined to the hot, unhealthy "candling" position.  You will be trained to sit for hours and to never get on the bad side of the moody PI's.  Candling is a glorified QA position without the title.  Expect to put on weight and develop poor posture from candling.  Also, expect depression and anxiety from dealing with PI's and department leadership.

Its an easy job.literally the easiest job ive ever had.nothing hard,alot of overtime,depending what department your working in.paid sick days,vacation,holiday pay.annual raises.401 k.purchase stock after 1 year.alot of skonkas there, like alot,its a big company im not even exaggerating.if your girl works there u got to watch out shes not being a skonks.ive seen it.downside department manager be on some bull,other than that its an easy job.and they just put an agency there,so no more getting highered through the company,u have to pass a "probabtion period" before getting highered.they just started doing that a few months ago.

Good place to learn the basics and good job security because the turn over rate is so high. 
People are talking about leaving all the time and work morale is low. Be ready to get lectured and yelled at. You will most likely develop depression and anxiety. Management is ridiculous and asking for time off is difficult. Over time is mandatory even if you don’t have work to do. Shady company that sweeps things under the rug. If you decide to work here you will experience it when audits come around. Company is super cheap. Christmas party is held at the facility in their warehouse with bad food. 

I worked here for a year and left due to the low pay, no worker recognition, and no opportunity to advance. The good thing is that you get trained on multiple instruments such as HPLC/GC, and ICP. However, the poor management and organization doesn't help when the workload increases and you can't even find enough glassware to do your assigned work. This is a good place to gain experience but not stay due to little/ no opportunity to advance and a lack of recognition/ appreciation from respective supervisors.

Working at IMS 8 weeks in, I can say is okay. It can be stressful and hard if you’ve never had hands on experience  working in a fast pace environment. Once you get the hang of it, it’ll become easier. Tasks vary from easy, boring and fast paced. Each day you will be doing something different, hence out of the blue summary I wrote. Watch out for a certain lead however. All nice and smiles until they show their true colors. Other leads are understanding and nice. Work environment overall is solid.

Upper management really optimist to push the productions up without having a proper personell count in positions. They just care to drive up sales and cut the costs so they get bigger annual bonus. You do get a raise once a year but it's not a lot so your pay doesn't follow the rise of the cost of living. You get the annual bonus which depends on sales and the numbers seems always go up, but the pay and bonuses for non management don't seem to follow this constant uptick in sales.

The environment is chaotic, stressful, demanding, and unreasonable. Managers treat employees inhumanly and workload is often heavy with unrealistic deadlines. 

However, you are given the opportunity to train on many instruments and add experience to your resume. It’s a great place to get your foot in the door for future prospects, but it is imperative that you don’t stay. There is no room for advancement and there is no future there.
