Iris Telehealth is an amazing company to work for with a great mission to help provide accessible healthcare. Iris really values and appreciates their employees, they do an excellent job at setting you up for personal growth within the company and they want you succeed as much as you do.
Management is amazing, they are personable with their staff, quick with follow up and there for you if you were to need assistance at any hour.
The hiring process and recruiters are wonderful, I went through a series of interviews, with one being an on site working interview. The on site interview was a great experience to see the job first hand before starting with the company. This process has contributed to employing the best staff including the Doctors and Nurse Practitioners, this makes the job very enjoyable.
The CEO is fantastic, this is the first company that I have worked for where the CEO is involved, knows you personally by name and your background.
The IT department is excellent, they are able to assist you if you need anything at all and they set you up with everything you need.
I can not express enough how amazing Iris Telehealth is and I have never been more proud to share my positive experience about my employer.

Everyone in our office works hard and has a positive attitude. I enjoy coming to work everyday because of the positive culture we have here.

We just recently moved to a new, larger office space which came with many upgrades such as an in-office dishwasher and many floor to ceiling windows. It's a beautiful space!

Management provides office comforts within reason, and we are able to select snacks of choice to keep the kitchen stocked with which is a definite perk. We don't currently have a dedicated water cooler, which I don't love, but there is a drinking fountain right outside the office we can use as an option.

The most enjoyable part of the job are the people I work with (both in our local office as well as corporate and remote offices). I also really enjoy supporting the mission and values of Iris Telehealth -- we provide high quality mental health services in areas that don't normally get access to such providers. 

Most challenging part of the job is many of my personal team members are located in the corporate office and I don't get to see and work with all of them in person as often as I would like.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
-the company was great , until they merged with another company and started taking benefits away (example-we used to have option of unpaid clinic day if our clinic had holiday). Now we have to use out banked PTO. 
-you do not get raises 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
-The clinic you work for determines the culture.  The clinic where I am is very unstructured, poor communication, and rough to work for. 
-Iris itself seems distant --it seems like the corporate employees are their own little island. We clinicians are not part of it 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Log in to the clinic, see your clients, communicate through TEAMs, outlook

working from home, having the freedom of flexible schedule

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Their inability to place clinicians they already hired

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Due to the remote nature there are some folks who try to connect, others not so much. The practice managers change often and most likely will get one that is not productive

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
They contract to community mental health organizations, so you are a contractor in a CMH. Depending on the CMH, you may not feel all that welcomed

Iris Telehealth has been a great transition for me! It's been great having the opportunity to work with a fast paced healthcare company that encourages me implement my own processes.

I love that there is a lot of transparency when working with different levels of management. They also offer incredible benefits and perks such as bring your dog to work which I participate in at least once a week!

I feel like I am constantly growing and making an impact to my team! The CEO and all of Iris Telehealth's employees are open to hearing your ideas and always make an effort to provide constructive feedback!

I cannot stress enough that having bad senior leadership around you can tank the culture that everyone worked so hard to build and foster.

Empathy is a skill set that the new leadership team do not exhibit.  They are seriously out of touch with the people doing the work and the value of those people.

If you have a large portion of a team saying, "we are over hiring" and your SLT cannot even see that and then LATER (after repeated warnings and more hiring) recognizes that we over hired, why do they still have jobs but the people that were banging the gong and telling you that you did not know what you were doing are gone?

What is the best part of working at the company?
Helping others complete daily tasks they otherwise can't do alone. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not very stressful as long as you stay organized and productive.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Every client is different. Respect and loyalty are very important to everyone.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Every day is different due to to each client is different. Taking them to Dr. Appointments, light house work, companionship, meal prep, distribution of medicine.

I couldn't be more proud to work for an organization like Iris. The people that make up our clinical and corporate teams are compassionate, hardworking, and committed to our mission. Iris is constantly seeking new ways to improve the lives of our team members through things such as strong culture initiatives and great benefits like work-life balance, paid parental leave, and a stipend towards a gym membership to name a few. I have worked for companies in the past who claim to care about their people, but Iris shows it.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Only do BH at health centrrs that are not supportive.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It is ok. Sometimes fuss alot about little things. Difficult to manage between health center and Iris

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I was told only needed to see 6 clients a day and every 6 mos or so health center manager wanted 8 a day.

Excellent leadership and management
Good choice of people in key positions
Medical director and CEO are top notch
They value good people, pay fairly and have excellent support staff.
If you like to work hard, if you like efficiency, if you like being surrounded by competent professionals ---this is the place to work !! 

I  have been working with IRIS for several years as a psychiatrist.

By the way, did I mention they have good pay and benefits---- health, vacation, vision, dental, CME etc....
