JESCO is a company that allows employees to put their families first. Management is always understanding of real-life issues. Through having a sick parent and a baby, JESCO was always there to make sure I knew that my family is first and foremost in my life. This culture allowed me to feel secure in my job. JESCO also does a great job of celebrating successes and educating team members. I have stayed with this company for 18 years because of management and culture. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
Was a good company 10 years ago. Lost a lot of key people due ownership not willing to let managers manage. 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Lack of experienced people in management roles

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Very toxic due to upper management caring about the ones doing the work. Pay is below industry standards

I think, it’s so unfair that they don’t treat all the workers equally. Favoritism and lazy people got more benefits than people whom are hard workers. So I don’t really recommend this company or their supervisors. A few of them didn’t speak English and they didn’t respect the coworkers or the authorities. They were on their cells or chatting, meanwhile my partner and I were  the only ones working so hard.  Stop helping lazy people, do your job.

It was close to home nothing else was good

Everything I worked on in the course of the  day

Stressful and strained with union personnel

10 hours of answering service calls, dispatched service call

The company was well equipped.

Experience people and not knowing how to speak English.

Was very diverse. Working with different nationality.

A regular work week  not too busy just waiting on material to be installed.

Good working hours n overtime

Cutting curbs setting units running duct

Vast majority of the folks are good to work with. Most of the management, not so much. EXTREMELY high turnover. Service dept is a disaster. If you are customer facing and have to deal in anyway with resolving service issues its pretty tough

Lack of follow through by management,  Things are brought up about how things are going to be done or get done then nothing happens. Overall it is a good place.

Great opportunity to learn about good business, and bad business. Will open your eyes for sure. 
Pay is lower than competitors for similar positions, with internal processes and procedures years behind the rest of the industry. 

Upper management is not great and you’ll be expected to do more than your job description since they refuse to hire enough staff to accommodate the workload. Pretty miserable place to work but benefits and pay are not bad.
