KeyLogic Systems

As a current full time student, KeyLogic Systems has given me the opportunity to work in in the Human Resources Department as an intern. They are flexible with my class schedule and are understanding of exams and events that occur. I feel that I am treated as an equal and a valued member of the team. 

As an HR intern, I am given tasks that would normally be completed by an HR professional. Although that can be difficult, I am able to learn something everyday that I can apply to my future career in the HR field. The constant communication and encouragement within the KeyLogic team makes it easy to ask questions if I am unfamiliar with something. 

I would highly encourage anyone searching for an internship or career to take a close look at KeyLogic Systems.

Recruiters and managers will talk up the job and really make it seem like a wonderful environment. Once you start it’s a whole different story. 
If you want to move up in the company, forget about it. Once you express interest in it, they will give you more responsibility and then belittle you when you want to be compensated for the work you’re doing. 
If you love being talked down to and degraded, this is the job for you. 
HR is an absolute disaster, and if you ever report your abusive supervisor, be prepared to lose your job. 
If you value your time and sanity, run far far away from this company. 

At KeyLogic, I was exposed to a variety of technologies, and the variety of work was interesting and challenging.  Management was always there to help, and my co-workers provided both insight and succor when helping me with projects.  The hardest part of the job are the days where I don't have anything exciting to work on, but those are pretty rare.  The most enjoyable aspects are tackling new projects and solving the problems in an intuitive and innovative way.

Pros:
- great teams (below overhead management) 
- benefits are good compared to some other companies
- IF you have the right team and management, work-life balance is maintainable
- starting salary is fair

Cons:
- contract work is never certain but leadership has no problem sugar-coating fact
- work is siloed w/ little room for growth
- enter usually as the generic “business analyst” and there is little guidance because everyone is busy
- hard work and good results has yet to pay off, the company doesn’t take advantage of your key skill set

Overall,  this is a great place to work. The work is meaningfull, work/life balance is good, coworkers are skilled, and you do feel like a small gear in a bigger engine than is making the world a better place. The company however struggles to pay its staff competitive wages without a fight, and senior leadership would often perfer to downplay issues rather than tackle them head-on. Government red tape, and management self-preservation top the list of room for improvement.

KeyLogic Systems is an exceptional company to work for especially when starting out in the business contracting field. The work/life balance is certainly the greatest aspect of the company as supervisors can be flexible with work hours given certain circumstances. Under particular job descriptions, the pay is relatively low compared to other companies, but that shouldn't dissuade young adults from cultivating stellar knowledge, skills, and abilities found within the company.

* Assist the Executive Director with maintenance of all contracts by using excel, word, and internal web data base.
* Coordinate and manage multiple projects and priorities in a timely and cost effective manner.
* Provide administrative support to the Vice President by maintaining customer contact, directing calls, and setting up appointments.
* Maintain accurate, up to date, comprehensive and confidential files and records

The people I worked with wanted to see you succeed. They were very caring and friendly. This job involved a lot of work on a computer. The company allows interns to sit in on important meetings and truly be a part of the company. They have socials to improve the work environment. I would recommend this internship to any young professional.

Not only do the recruiters blatantly lie about everything related to the position, if you ever express any desire for improvement in a process you will be put down by management and constantly neglected. The only way to suceed is to be a "yes man" quite often they have severe issue with timekeeping as well.

Great Company that values its employees! Keylogic is not the typical government consulting firm that simply thinks of its employees as a resource but rather its a firm that truly views its employees as a key asset and a dominant factor in its constant growth.
