This company is extremely difficult to work for. Expect constant overtime with no additional pay, no work-life balance, and very little respect for employees. Management and HR only serve upper leadership, not the staff, so concerns never get addressed. Promotions are often promised but rarely delivered.

IT systems and staff are heavily undervalued, with one or two people expected to handle the work of many. Employees dependent on visas are especially vulnerable, with limited sponsorship options and unclear commitments for permanent residency.

Relocation policies are inconsistent and unfair, with little to no support for moves within the same region. Factory site employees receive far fewer benefits than headquarters staff, and are often treated like they are not part of the same company.

This is a IT consulting company, but actually the managements are not-IT people. due to lack of IT resource, the work system is a structure that is dependent on the HQ team. Each engineer have to perform multiple roles such as customer service, server engineering, database management as well as development.

It is good to have a job here in starting of your career because you can earn a title of brand 'LG' in your resume, but I don't feeling that there is room to grow your career as an SE.

Overtime work is required to achieve the customer satisfaction that your supervisor expected. In addition, there are many cases where the team cooperates with a Korean team, you need to work overtime often.

Salary levels are also lower than industry averages. Also, the rate of salary increase is unlikely to rise to 1 ~ 2%. Only those who can take these disadvantages work in this place.

Most internal communication is conducted in Korean, which can be challenging for non‑Korean speakers and may slow collaboration.

Long working hours, including overtime and occasional on‑call responsibilities at night.

-Poor pay
-Horrible Management , they take credit for the work of others, micromanage,  yell at their employees, put them down, lie, manipulate, gossip about/ compare them to other colleagues
-Very stressful and toxic environment  overall
-All their systems are so outdated 
-They will change your role and duties in a heartbeat
-Everything is a last minute fire and not planned out 
-My coworkers are the only saving grace and the benefits, all the free food doesn't make up for the mental health issues you'll endure working here.
- HR won't help you either, don't bother, it's whatever the leader says no matter how unjust and despicable. 


For Koreans Only. Do not bother applying if you are not Korean or bilingual. Overall benefits and job securities are great. They will not fire you unless you have huge problem. Do not think of getting bonus or compensation if you are not a manager, senior manager, or director. Salary is horrible compared to non-Korean companies. Great for learning works as an entry-level only. Managers or upper will have to work overtime no matter what.

Beware of horrible management and directors.

Starting your career here is a solid move if you want to build a strong technical foundation and gain hands-on experience with large-scale infrastructure projects. The work environment provides plenty of opportunities to learn and tackle interesting challenges that look excellent on a resume. However, the benefits package and overall compensation are unfortunately lacking compared to current industry standards. It is a fantastic stepping stone for junior engineers to grow, but the company could improve in terms of employee retention and long- term perks

S. Korean culture is prevalent here. Very hierarchical and if you are an American your word or opinion weighs very little. When you are at the bottom of the totem pole you feel like a sore thumb. They like to hire "contracts" and out source their jobs to pay them no benefits even when contract workers do the same job or better.  On the bright side they have table tennis tables.

Looks like all the bad reviews are from many years ago. I personally love working at LG CNS America. I work in the Englewood Cliffs office and I have no complaints. I leave work usually at 5 pm on the dot and management has no issues with that. Additionally, the company provides free lunch every day as well as bagels every Thursday morning. On top of that their bonus structure is very generous. The past two years, my year-end bonus was unexpectedly high. 

Especially if your not Korean.  Very little English spoken in the Englewood Cliffs office.  LGCNS is out of touch with American business needs.  Too much reliance and decision making in Seoul!

The headquarters is located in Korea, and you will join the American subsidiary. 
Most of the manufacturing staff work at LGES Battery plant, 
Responding to IT failures and improvements is the main task. 
You may need to work shifts, and you may need to respond on weekends. 
For first-time employees, I think it will help you build your career.
