LYP Health Management

This place is a nightmare that I can't even properly explain. You have daily stats such as your call handle time, after call work, etc. Absolutely everything is monitored. You cannot exceed 3 minutes more than your total scheduled break time, and they don't care the circumstance. You cannot clock in for the day or clock back in from lunch more than 5 minutes late (again, circumstance is irrelevant)  or you will be pointed for that 5 plus minutes the same as you would be for missing an entire half of a shift. You get 3 personal floating holidays a year as well as 10 hours of PTO the beginning of every month, but these are not yours to use as you please. You have to have the company's permission and you have to request the time days in advance, and they do not have to approve it. It took me more than 2 weeks to get approved to use 2 hours of my own available PTO to go to a necessary doctor's appointment, and I had to go through 3 levels of management to do it. You do not get any sick time whatsoever, which I find pretty ridiculous seeing as this is a health management company. As you obviously do not plan illness in advance, calling out sick is an unexcused absence. You get attendance points for pretty much everything. No raises unless you're promoted, and good luck with that. I'll save you the time of applying. You don't want to work here.

LYP has extremely toxic leadership who care more about their clients' superficial view of them than actually providing a quality product or sufficient employee support. The CEO and other "executive" leaders make big promises while they know things are on fire behind the scenes. Their grasp of HIPPA regulations is tenuous and muddled, setting up their Patient Care teams up for frustration and failure. The only pro is working from home but don't expect that to mean you have a work life balance as they micromanage every moment you're clocked in. Their benefit plans are expensive and your time off requests are never approved, even if you submit them months in advance. The pay is also insulting and impossible to live off of, leadership openly discusses how far behind market standards their pay scale is without any intention of raising anyone's pay except their own. They also purposefully target low income areas of the country for recruitment in hopes that people are desperate enough to take their low pay. Their turnover rate is astounding and they only continue to make worse and worse decisions regarding the treatment of entry-level team members. Avoid unless you can't find anything else or have another form of income.

They want you to take on multiple tasks without ever getting an increase in pay. You WILL work for 3 clients. You can forget work/life balance. Someone I know had requested a day off when they got hired for their cancer follow up care, and when they submitted the request for it after being hired, they were denied. I, myself, was in the ER and absolute chaos ensued. Tasks weren't being done, and my supervisor who knew I was in the ER kept messaging me about how behind we were. Don't even bother thinking someone will listen if you tell them about future arrangements. They will only take it into consideration if it meets client needs. They are very for the client, not the employee. You will just be the punching bag for patients to beat up on. The compensation better be considered good in your eyes because that's all you're gonna get. (FYI, it isn't good. It's well worth more than 15 an hour)

There are times where we process over 200 calls a day, almost 3000 calls a month with no incentive. They mainly care about metrics and attendance. You receive a daily metrics sheet where they point out all the negative stuff. 15 minute Breaks and bathroom times are combined. God forbid you have an emergency. NO EXCUSED ABSENCES since we work from home. Even medical excuses will not be accepted. You might get a raise on your 1 year anniversary but it doesn't go into effect until the end of the quarter. Everything is pointed. Call off, a point. Sometimes 2 depending on the day. If you leave early because you aren't feeling well, a point. 5 mins late to clock in, a point. Literally no room for error. They also have an unrealistic "CREWHU" program with unrealistic goals. Calls have to be under a 2% ACW and I haven't seen anyone with and ACW % under 5%. Insurance has a crazy copay. 

Working with LYP Health Management was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. The company is completely unorganized, communication is awful, and management shows no respect or concern for employees. There’s constant confusion, lack of leadership, and zero support when issues come up. it is completely unprofessional, communication is nonexistent, and employees are treated with no respect or appreciation. Nothing is organized, and it feels like nobody in charge has a clue what they’re doing. There’s constant chaos, no real training or support, and a toxic environment that drains you mentally. I would never recommend this place to anyone they do not value their workers or care about creating a healthy workplace. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from this company it’s toxic, stressful, and poorly run from top to bottom.

Path Forward promotes itself to be a family oriented company with great values. However, through my personal experience, I have learned differently. The orientation and training all together was horrific. They began firing peer colleagues I started with the fourth week in. They staff were not very lenient and constricted you to two fifteen minute breaks a day, and a thirty minute lunch. Anything outside of those times were frowned upon by management. The offering wages are almost disrespectful considering how many calls we are required to take per day. The management staff as a whole is very belittling. Anyone who has been employed by this company over a long period of time can vouch for this statement. I would not recommend this job to anyone who seeks stable employment.

*Very Fast passed/ Don't give you much time to learn, it's always hurry hurry get on the phones
*Learned Scripting isn't always correct when answering the phone
**Upper management needs to be fixed. There is a reason one of them keep loosing Supervisors. They are not as transparent as they say. Upper management has their favorites they keep around.

*Hardest part was keeping EVERYONE happy and loosing our Supervisors that were great.
*The most enjoyable were helping the patients that called in, and the people on your teams, your fellow associates

WFH position taking inbound calls, relaying messages to Providers and Medical Assistants. Monday's were typically the busiest and calls are coming back to back where you can't sometimes take your breaks on time. You want to be team player, but not everyone is working as a team. I learned what doctors, medical assistants, etc go through on a daily basis. It's non-stop. I did not enjoy the micro-managed, non supportive work-life balance. This is not designed for single parents. Overall, it's a good company to work for, if you don't mind the cons listed.

3yr former employee. This was a WFH opportunity. Fast paced environment. You know the expectations expected of you day one so there is no surprise when you get assigned to your client. The only downside is there is a big turn over rate, but I honestly personally do not believe it is because of LYP or management. I personally trained new hires on my client and when they are on their own don't do what is expected of them and they many warnings. I believe people think when you WFH you don't do much and when they get one the phones are shocked. My Manager (RM) and Lead (TH) at LYP were absolutely amazing and we had a great team.

The only good thing I can say about this job is it is good pay. They tell you that you don’t have to work weekends and holidays but you end of doing both. The job itself is very stressful and you are not a loud to leave the phone or your desk unless it’s a break. You barley have time to go to the bathroom or take a drink. They are Always down your throat and telling you that you’re not good enough. They tell you that you’ll just be scheduling appt but you end up being the phone operated for the whole practice and you’re getting yelled at all day by upset patients.
