In terms of job satisfaction, I was completely dissatisfied almost 100% of the time. There is no organization, the company in Columbia, MO was unable to keep very many employees due to dissatisfaction, which meant that we were always understaffed. I never once did the job I was hired on for because I was always busy doing someone else's job. It is a drag to come to work and the place seems to drain every ounce of happiness from its workers. Everyone is always stressed due to the conditions and management that the hospital operates under. There are a select few people at the hospital who want to be successful, who want YOU to be successful, and most of all who want the patients to be healthy. There is ZERO value for the patients that I had seen in my year working here. Everyone is in it for the money, and you can tell. I personally never felt a sense of belonging within my peers because everyone talks down to one another and they gossip beyond means. Most of the nurses are incredibly unprofessional and have no sense of urgency or time management. My manager did not help me succeed, and this person honestly made me NEVER want to work as a technician again- it also ruined my dream of becoming a nurse through college because I really just hated it that much. I was hired on as PRN but was worked more than full time for many weeks, which interfered with my school schedule. AND, I was never offered full time (which meant I was committing the hours but not receiving any sort of benefit). I was not compensated fairly, especially when I was working as a technician on the floor. The company itself tries to be inclusive, but most of the individuals that work here have some sort of problem with people of color; I've heard multiple nurses call a minority person lazy and gross, and the care is diminished with people of color as well. Its not hard to do your job and to do it well, but some of the people that work here are completely ignorant. Race, politics, etc, conversations that should NOT be held in a workplace, are routinely had, and to make it worse, often times they are IN FRONT OF patient rooms where patients can overhear. There is little opportunity for growth, there is ZERO organization to the facility, and I honestly wouldn't be surprised if State closed the facility down sooner rather than later. It is not a safe facility for patients, there is poor drive to be a positive patient advocate, and management seems to pry on you. There's a reason other hospitals call this facility "Landfill." 

The landmark  Hospital has wonderful working conditions and everyone was ALWAYS there to save  lives and were good to all the patients. It was always wonderful to work here. The Doctors you see and greet everyday were awesome! 

 It was never an bad day working here. The nursing team and  nurse mangers were all good to all the workers and what I enjoyed! you learn a lot from both the nurses and the doctors.
 You get to experience how good the doctors cared about there patients. Working here you get the experience of your life!  There is ALWAYS TEAM WORK!! The CEO is AWESOME! the management team down in the front office and the Nursing team on all floors was AWESOME!!!

 I  truly believe that the Human Resource Department needs some one new! This will be the best that landmark could do this way they can keep nurses and techs.
This company will grow to get someone that is about truthfulness, honesty and wanting to see the company production expand  and care about there employees in the human resource side of landmark.
If a company has some one from human resources no matter how great they are paying if human resources head is bad no one will stay! 
Human Resources is the place you count on, if that person is not helping the employees and not honest, number one this will not be a great place to work it makes it bad for the company. Companies I work for always had an AWESOME human resources person this is the place you go to handle everything!!!

This place has the potential to be a great place to work but the management and system needs redone in its entirety. If you are looking for job security, would not recommend this job as they value their travelers and guaranteeing them hours more than they do their PRN and full time staff. Hospital has an unpredictable census paired with an unreliable scheduler. PRN and full time employees are always called off first due to low census leaving the shift staffed with travelers ( who cost more to keep ). The hospital is constantly out of supplies such as IV tubing, equipment is always nonfunctioning with no definitive system of getting equipment fixed. If you are looking for longevity this place is not the fit for you as you will more than likely be trained by a traveler as they can barely keep full time staff. Often times travelers are assigned to fulfill the charge nurse role particularly on night shift due to lack of staff. Landmark also recently filed for bankruptcy so that should tell you all you need to know in regards to how the logistics of the company is run. 

A lot of hard work but you learn what caring for people is all about. Typical day go, go, go. There is not a lot of sitting down. If so, you aren't looking around or listening. If your charting is done, I'm sure there is someone who would love to have something taken care of for them. Stretch, crack your back, go back to work. I've learned or re-learned, someone is always amazing on some of the worst and most horrible days of their lives. Or they put on their best face and their best foot and they give it all they've got and for that, I am very thankful.. I hope I have done a smidgen to others to what they did for me. The hardest and most favorite part is connecting with my patients - then letting go. 
This company is run by a CCO who has compassion and drive. She cares for her staff and it's patients more than I've seen anyone. I think the employees really like each other and like working there. 

The COO with only an entry level degree conducted the poorest orientation I've experienced in 25 years of nursing that was to last for 2 weeks. It was disorganized and kept us coming for 1-2 hours a day. We were told our hours were guaranteed (Full timers). However when the paychecks came out it was just for hours worked and they denied they said the hours were guaranteed. Sorry I can't live on 10 hours of pay a week. I'm sure failing the inspection from the state and not being able to open had an impact. As the third week arrived I informed them I need 36 hours a week or need to go elsewhere- which is what I did.Yet the COO had certain staff members coming in extra doing other tasks- this option wasn't available nor communicated to ALL staff members. There is a total lack of communication and transparency and administration chooses who they decide to give information to.

To much change of Administration. Saw lots of CEO'S in over 5yrs.After the first one, the door was closed to Adm., which made you feel like it was no longer open door policy. Good Salary. Staff expected to work continuous, never had a break in Am or PM, just short lunch break. One bathroom break for 12hr shift, no one to cover your patients. Was not a SMOKE FREE est. Nothing posted outside or at the entrance. Families and staff still smoked. Staff given more patients than should have been due to status of the patient.  To many policies, no nonsense policies.. Constant change in procedural issues. Best thing was salary. Good learning establishment. Coworkers were great to work with. Management sucked, Typical day or nite was continuous running to get all paperwork done. Needed equipment to move the morbidly obese patient. Lots of injury related issues occurred.

Joined Landmark since its inception here in Naples, and I couldnt be happier. With remarkable leadership and exceptional staff we are going to set the industry standard for Naples at this facility. Very exciting to be part of a New Hospital start up , where your input is valued and your opinion is welcome. Also, VERY impressed with Managements forward thinking philosophies and ability to spot problem people before they poison the culture. I have worked at all the local area hospitals and truly belive that what we are doing is innovative and different. If you want to be part of an evolving culture that welcomes your ideas, suggestions, and input this would be an ideal place to spend your career. With very competitive salaries and state of the art equipment Landmark is already leading the way in Southwest Florida in my opinion.

FIRST DAY was fantastic! The young lady in HR is the BEST HR person I have ever worked for at any company! First day is onboarding with her & she is enthusiastic, organized & very informed.. made me feel very excited about the job. Went home & cried happy tears thinking this is the job for me!! However the 2nd day on the floor is when it all fell apart. Disorganized, no real orientation program, I was thrown to the wolves after 1 shift.. on top of that alot of the staff is very negative! The charge was the most negative out of anyone which is apalling, the young lady in clinical scheduling also needs a attitude adjustment. The nurses were very demanding & treat CNAs like garbage. It was very clear to me in 2 days that "management" is way in over their heads with not enough time, energy or means to care. Unfortunately I had to run for the hills.. the place has potential but sadly needs an overhaul in staff and management to be successful. 

The administration staff is so disrespectful to monitor techs and floor techs. We have piles of things to do that is so pointless. We are not respected one bit. There are some excellent nurses who work there but there are some that just ruins it for everyone. Anyone who doesn't want to do a particular task just throws it on the unit secretaries-monitor techs. We put others lives on the line because we are so extremely busy dealing with other task. Very unsafe work department, not just for staff but patients also. The CNAs and monitor techs get paid very little for such a big responsibility..very unfair and unprofessional. The woman in charge of nursing staff is too busy trying to make friends with the nurses instead of being a real boss and handling important situations. The new CEO is fantastic only if he would put his foot down more.

Landmark has been my home for a number of years now, I have worked at other facilities as a nurse and have always found Landmark to be the most welcoming with the best teamwork atmosphere. Anywhere you work, especially in health care, you’re going to have crazy busy days, but even on the busiest of days everyone comes together to get everything that needs to be completed done. Frequently management comes out to assist on the floor when needed and are readily available to help with issues as they arise. Sometimes dealing with patients in the critical care field can be very difficult, especially with family members,  but I always feel supported, when it is needed, to help with these types of issues. The only con I can think of is the current benefits are not the greatest, but new benefit packages are going to be released soon promising better benefits, so excited to see the changes there.
