This company was a newer start up brand. Organizing the store by what the staff and management sought fit was a positive because it gave us the opportunity to be creative. Since it was a newer start up brand the company was still making changes for health care so that wasn't the best. The most enjoyable part was doing the buy for the store. The hardest part was doing the register it was a difficult system that consistently crashed. A typical day would be cleaning fixtures, restocking receipt tape, ringing sales, going over client profiles to ensure we are hitting our numbers. Sizing clothes, and making sure the boutique was up to visual standards.

I must say working with the Lanvin team has been an amazing learning experience. Not only are the teams great, but even when it gets a little hectic the managers are always willing to help! Coming from Fashion Design being introduced to the luxury market is an eye opener. Communicating with Fashion Editors and Stylists has given me a peek into the editorial world. As well as seeing how everything in Fashion comes full circle; Design, Marketing, PR to Editorial. Most importantly dealing with multiple publications and clients on a daily has definitely made me appreciate time management and a calendar!

Working for Lanvin has been a great experience because of my coworkers. We started in Bal Harbour and transitioned to the Design District over the course of a year. My position requires a lot of prioritizing and problem solving skills. On the daily basis we need to make sure we are servicing the needs of our clients, reaching out to develop new relationships, sending out consignments, processing shipments and making sure our inventory is controlled. The best part of my job is my team! The most difficult part has been losing our designer.

Not the greatest company to work for ESPECIALLY while they undergo all these obscene transitions with absolutely no clear direction. Communication is horrible due to a lack of clarity between Paris and New York and it's hard to make money there since no one desires the brand anymore.

I had a wonderful time working at LANVIN.  Everyday's a new and challenging experience.  Nice team and store director.  Exciting changes with new creative director!

Small satellite office. Everyone is like a family. However not much room for advancement unless someone leaves the company. Overall decent experience for the fashion industry

Management was unstable

Designs Changed and the sales suffered . Clients didn’t want to come back with new collections
