So, if I had to highlight one quality of being part of the credit union, it is teamwork. You always learn something new every day and the commitment that everyone shows at work makes them unique. Especially the fact that they show that their members are their top priority, since we work for them, we exist thanks to them. This is a noble and admirable action, since we change the lives of our members by making their dreams come true, such as paying for their first house. At the credit union, the office is comfortable, and there are designated spaces for eating and resting. The benefits are excellent, proof that the credit union looks out for our well-being and cares that we are doing well. If you are looking for a place to grow professionally and learn about the financial system, and in the process meet great people and make friends, this is the place for you.

Giving our members services with their accounts; deposits, withdrawals, checks, payments, etc. I have learned about how to manage finances, how payments affect credit and how to pay off loans faster. My manager does an amazing job at determining what to do in all situations and always has our best interest in mind. The hardest part is when it's a Friday afternoon and our members rush in trying to make their transactions before the weekend, it's a long line and everyone wants to get out as soon as possible and we do our best to give them a great service every time. I enjoy helping members understand their finances and being able to talk to them in a more personable matter.

I learned how to translate strategy into action, especially during high-impact projects like system upgrades and cost analysis. Management is approachable and truly values your input. The Credit Union provides great opportunities for you to develop as a professional. The many different roles available, both front office and back offices, allow for great career flexibility as you continue to grow. I would recommend working here specially if you are passionate about advancing your career with a company that truly cares about it's employees.

A typical work day a believe it the same on each bank you never know how the day will be, it  can be easy or hard.
The work culture I can say it is very professional, also t once they see your skills and good job  they give you the opportunity to grow in the company, and think this is very important because it motivates you to improve your skills to be better.

THEY PAY ONCE A MONTH ONLY, and makes everything hard specially when you have little kids. It’s hard to stretch the check for an entire month and specially with those low pay rates and not much opportunity to growth if you are not friends with the managers or the HR department. 

There is a toxic environment, micro management, poor management, gossip between offices and no opportunities for advancement or growth. They should allow  employees to evaluate their managers anonymously so that they can make the necessary changes within the company.

I truly enjoyed my time at LCCU. The management was great (this was in the virtual center). I loved my team a whole lot. You definitely need to be a quick learner and be willing to give it your all for your team, but fortunately, I felt like my team was doing that for me every day, so it was a blast.
