I have worked for Legacy for 1.5yrs. I love this job! It is slow-paced and offers the best ability to balance work and life. I am able to be a part of my daughter's extracurricular/school activities, I can be home everyday for dinner with my family, I don't have to work weekends or holidays....none of which were an option working in hospitals with mandated 10 or 12hr shifts plus required weekend/holiday coverage. The pay is based on services billed- so it can fluctuate but I believe I am very well compensated compared to previously being on salary at a local large hospital in Dallas. The benefits are average/comparable to other companies I have worked for with exception of PTO. The only dislike I have about this company is no PTO for medical providers. The scheduling is flexible- I am able to make my own schedule and adjust it to meet my needs or needs of my patients without issue. The company is large enough to be competitive in the market and small enough to know you as an individual. The administrator is amazing, she often checks on us to make sure we are doing well, she quickly addresses any concerns I have brought forth. It is obvious that she genuinely cares about the staff. The collaborating physicians that I have worked with are always available when I have had medical questions/concerns.

It's actually a real relaxed and good place to work. I will say the higher up/CFO of the company is NOT great. They can be extremely rude, has absolutely no empathy and prioritizes their own interests and financial gains above the well-being of their employees. HOWEVER, the manager and assistant manager of the billing office are absolutely amazing. They will go to bat for you and genuinely care about the people who work them.

I saw reviews about drama? The dynamic when I first worked there was not good. I honestly dreaded coming to work because of unnecessary drama, cliquiness and immaturity. However, once those employees weeded themselves out and the dynamic was amazing.

As far as trashy and dirty? That's just ridiculous. Lol

If you are someone who constantly likes learning, this is not the job for you. Typical day includes rounding on rehabilitation patients and looking into any problems that they may be experiencing that inhibits them from reaching their full potential in therapy: pain, fatigue, shortness of breath, joint swelling...etc. Majority of the time the patient has no complaints, or complaints that you have no control of (weakness, balance) which leaves you with little to nothing to do. On a positive note, staff/management is nice.

typical day at work would be come in and process patient facesheets with their demographics information on them. Verify patients insurance information and if need also call insurance company's to verify insurance. input patients information in our computer system to finish the process to bill patients insurance. Call and request for authorization number from insurance companys that required patients to have one in order to be bill and for us to get paid. Follow up on any missing demographics information that I need form patient in order to bill there insurance.

I would have the review 0 stars if I could this a horrible company to work for the managers sucks and shes clueless and if you ask her a question she replys' and says simply I DON'T KNOW I was only there for about 6 months and during that time they fired about 4 people without notice the work load is over is to much you will have about 3 title and 4 roles and only get paid for 1 position please stay away theres only about 8 employees left I and the company is broke!!!!!!!

Wonderful management. I have worked here for many years.  We have had very good outcomes with the state in our annual surveys and also complaint surveys. If there are issues that management is aware of, we will work with you to get the issues resolved. Of course we are not perfect, no one is...but we work hard to provide good patient care. I also have a pretty amazing nursing staff and a great therapy team that also offers outpatient therapy.

What an absolutely disgusting example of a healthcare organization. The owner (who has since passed on) was an absolute crook. The only thing he cared about was making money, and didn’t care if his billing was compliant. I keep checking the news out of the OIG and figuring I’ll eventually see their name. 
Opportunistic/parasitic doesn’t begin to describe their practice.

This is a job where you are employed at your own Peril. You are promised heaven on earth but a rude awakening once you are in the job. There are no systems in place. Management is CHEAP and will not spend on their employees. Work here at your OWN risk.

Was direct report to COO and was never reachable. Direct questions and emails were never responded to. Catered a few lunches to try to make up for an extremely lackluster management team.
