What is the best part of working at the company?
Early in my tenure at linqd, the company provided an environment where self motivated individuals could grow quickly. If you were driven and willing to invest in your own development, there was opportunity to sharpen your sales skills and gain real world experience in the industry.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Linqd, formerly MMC, was once a great place to work and it helped shape me into the professional I am today. I am grateful for the experience and for the growth I achieved there.

That said, the leadership team in place when I left turned it into a terrible place to work.

What started as a fun, family oriented environment became a toxic culture built on micromanagement, unrealistic expectations, and constant pressure. Employees were consistently asked to do more while being paid less. Morale declined significantly, and performance was met with tighter controls instead of support.

When I started at linqd, I was new to sales. Although the company had a full time trainer, I did not gain meaningful development from that role. I invested in my own growth through outside industry training and self education. As a result, I became a top performer and exceeded my sales quotas by more than one thousand percent month after month.

Instead of rewarding that performance, the company repeatedly changed the commission structure. Not once. Not twice. More than six times in three years. Every change reduced earning potential for top producers. It became clear that strong performance was something to cap rather than reward.

The compensation was overwhelmingly low compared to the expectations. The micromanagement was excessive. The support was virtually nonexistent. Leadership decisions felt reactive and short sighted.

I gave three years of my life to this company. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend it in good conscience. There is no scenario where I would advise someone to work here in its current state.

Please take this from someone who was a top employee. You can do better.

Upon joining this company, there were quite a few big promises made and a beautiful picture painted. Within a few months, that picture was revealed for what it was and those promises became empty. This company has managed to limp by for a few decades but doesn’t have any real direction, culture, or growth.  If you’re looking to begin a career here or professionally grow in any way, this is not the place for you. If you’re looking to collect a paycheck and cash in on some pizza parties with a trivia day here or there, this is the place for you! I will never recommend anyone to work for this company. There is no true professional growth, nothing to be learned, only a revolving door of employees. The sales floor “leader” has zero idea how to run a call center let alone a sales team. They have a promising upcoming leader that hopefully will take the “leader’s” place one day, but at the same time I hope that upcoming leader finds a company that will mold him into an authentic professional leader. I watched this companies upper leadership deceptively force people out of their roles to make room for others or to save money in the budget. The interdepartmental communication and work flow is seriously flawed. No one is held accountable for their actions, but blame is placed on those who cannot deliver because of other departments actions. For the sake of the good employees still working there, I hope this company changes sooner than later. In the meantime, I urge any potential candidates to stay far away... check back in a couple years to see if they’ve grown.

I sat for hours, at times day after day, waiting for work, and then when it arrives, nothing but recycled "records" (leads). Haphazardly developed and inadequate "campaigns" that are either not truly and properly "analyzed"/qualified, OR overqualified and not run thru the "world class analytics" process. Essentially devaluing the work you do.

The ineptness of the department heads and the people involved in the process of getting quality work to the sales floor is apparent on a daily basis which ultimately leads to lack of work. Quite frustrating as well as appalling.

Basically you call the same old same old, while there are other leads (records) that have not really been touched, focused on, and just lie fallow. A bit of a disservice to the client.

For the most part apathy is the prevailing attitude,and concerns fall on deaf ears.

Claims to be a "fast paced sales oriented" company...nope.

The place is pretty much a bust. If you want to learn marketing/sales, there are much better alternatives. If you have experience and are looking for a competitive and meaningful career path...don't bother the place is unfulfilling

I didn't write that. Somebody sent it to me. A current employee, mind you. Sadly, it's a perfect encapsulation of MMC. You can meet truly intelligent, capable and fantastic people there. Ones to be friends with outside of the office. But surrounding those relationships is a culture of mistrust and condescending deceit.  Mistakes are amplified and accomplishments are near invisible. Managers talk, and take action, yes. Too quickly? Absolutely. The corporate cliche of "ready, fire, aim!" is alive and well at MMC.  And, more of a sin is that leaders, by and large, have no drive to learn what it means to lead. This is a company of great potential, but by fostering a clique-driven, accountability-free environment? It's simply not a place to motivate or inspire. Work there if necessary; but the happiest people I know who are associated with MMC are people who are ex-MMC. That's not how things should be. Yet, it's how things are.

Even though I worked remotely, I felt a positive team atmosphere. They do not micromanage at all but are available if you need help. They sign contracts with large stable Healthcare and Construction / Building companies. That translates to calling on a lot of existing customers that you can actually get on the phone to help. 

It is not cold calling which I appreciated. They believe in quality over quantity with outbound calls which is refreshing. Not obsessed with numbers but provide marketing initiatives that help you achieve your monthly goals.

Great benefits and flexible hours. The only downside was that they are not a large enough company to always guarantee you another position for the client you are working with if that short term contract is not renewed . I enjoyed my time here and learned about many aspects of respiratory therapy. 

Has pool table,  great! But no time to use it. You get timed on every second of your day from walking in door. No cell phones allowed to be used at work.  Must use break time to go to bathroom.  Management is never around.  Can't find answers. Poor communication.  A revolving door. They go through so many employees.  Also, even though your calling same people over and over each week,  has a huge sales quota. Negative atmosphere.  Employees aren't happy.  You bring it up to management,  they let you go, instead of negative Nancy.  Can never find boss, but not allowed to use or have cell phones out while at your cubicle.  Hired as inside sales,  big quotas to hit....but payroll lists you as a CSR.

MMC is the best company I've ever worked for. They are always looking for ways to improve the culture and work environment, and it truly shows! Of course, every job has days where it just seems like a grind, but at MMC, they make up for it by holding monthly team building events that the entire company can take part in. Every manager I've worked under has been extremely understanding when it comes to life's unexpected events - very handy when you have young ones at home! One negative that comes to mind is some of the cosmetics of the facility. The past couple years, there have been huge improvements made to some parts of the building, but other areas seem to be somewhat neglected. On the flip side, perks of the facility include: gym, in-house chef, free coffee, outdoor eating area, pool table, and a dart league.

Rated worst place to work. They treat the employees like dirt. Management has no clue what they are doing. The tell you one thing - 5 minutes later they change it, at least 10 times a day. Also, they like the cheaters and most annoying people and promote them also management encourages cheating. You can get promoted quick if you brown nose there. Lastly, if they make you an offer make sure you negotiate your salary so they don't stiff you. Employees on the account make all different salaries yet we all do the same things. One person makes 22,000 another 28,000 another 30,000 and 35,000. So make sure to shoot high average I think is 27,000 so be careful. They will hurt you any way they can. Most unethical business in the Binghamton area. Just beware

The management there is horrible, they put people in management that clearly should not be, very unprofessional, never know when an account will be gone, always have to worry if have a job if account closes and are laid off. Alot of brown nosing and clearly that works there, one manager in particular that should not be working there but she knows vice president of company well and pretty sure reason she is still there, she makes mistake after mistake day after day but claims everyone else is, screams and belittles all her workers, but it goes on daily and she has a job, they never say anything to her and let it happen, other managers are clearly incompetent as well and also keep their job as well.

A normal day is 70 total calls a day, and also doing emails and text to customers you're assigned to. 
You have daily goals for dials, deals and revenue won. Which your commission is paid on.
Your manager meets with you every other week and we meet as a team weekly.
If you do your job, you're asked to support coworkers that are new to linqd.
Your coworkers are awesome to work with and you get some cool stuff from the companies you work for some times. 
They give you a LinkedIn Learning account and I've been learning SO much!
