Lydia Home has a challenging workplace culture, especially within leadership and department structure. In my experience, compliance staff faced significant obstacles in doing their jobs effectively, and there appeared to be a lack of support for the compliance function. The organization would benefit from clearer boundaries, stronger leadership, and a more collaborative environment that values compliance and staff retention. This position has had three people in short time span. The staff is being intimidated by HR director who oversees multiple departments and work environment is toxic.

Not a good place to work to much drama

Working with the people who work there

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
It was so boring to me.fixing alone of frozen food

The job title makes it seem like it wouldn’t be a residential counselor job but it is a glorified version of that. There’s lots of petty drama and gossip that goes around amongst staff that the clients eventually find out and use against you. 

*management does not help and they place blame on others 
*Can't trust management to answer questions 
*Communication is awful 
*No organization or follow through 
*Training is figuring things out yourself 


Great supervision! Also, they will reimburse for CEU trainings. There are many opportunities to give and receive feedback within a multidisciplinary team.

Good place to gain experience and the pay is good and there is overtime available.  May not get the shift you want all the time though. Supervisors are good too
