I have enjoyed working at MRMC for nearly 20 years and would truly miss the family I have developed there. However, at this stage in my life I would like to further my skill set and learn new things. MRMC is a friendly place to work and offers opportunities for advancement to those who would like to advance.
As house supervisor I wear many hats and enjoy the fast pace and ever changing experience. You never know what might happen on night shift.

I've worked at many facilities and always come back to this one as my favorite. All jobs have their quirks and issues, but here I feel like those are manageable and not as strenuous as other places I've worked. I truly feel like family here and I have a constant support group. I feel that administration makes us, our facility, and our community their top priority. I know that I'm not just another number, I'm treated as a person and individual.

When you can leave and go to your house, it was a terrible experience 

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
They don’t care about the nurses and you take too many patients.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
The work was good, but the house Supervisor.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Too busy, you can’t sit down and eat lunch

Helping people and some of my co workers

The bosses showing favoritism

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Very busy and fast paced. Meeting new people

Productive workplace that provides quality care. I learned a lot about customer/patient satisfaction while working here, and also that their is such thing as proper phone etiquette with any job. I became familiar with more computer programs, and my keying increased greatly.

Work was busy and often required having 3 patients which was always too much.  I did not like being pulled to other floors when the census was low. Initially the culture was poor, but people left and the culture became good, however, nurses did not always share information concerning difficult patient care.  

It was great with a fair staffing and extra help available most nights. But now nurses do total care for 6 and up patients with no cna assistance, and the other nurse your paired with is so busy too they dont have time to help you. Management doesn't help and leaves you feeling like your drowning almost every shift. 

Magnolia Regional Medical Center was an excellent place to work. I loved working with the people and learning new experiences everyday. There was never a dull moment there. It was extremely fast paced and stressfull at times but if I had the opportunity to work there again I would.

I worked there quite a few years ago, but the morale and standards haven't changed much for this hospital.  I still hear many negative things despite having a newer cleaner facility.

MRMC is a fantastic rural facility with a great management team and hardworking staff.  It is a great hospital for a new nurse to really hone her basic skills with friendly and understanding nurse mentors there to help guide this process.
