As a new agent on the team, I only have good things to say so far. I came into the job with zero experience and no idea how I would do in a career like this, and I am so glad that I did. From day 1 everyone around you is supportive and motivated to help you start making your money. Unlike many jobs in sales, they give you the opportunity to start making money on the very first day, because of the way training is structured. My favorite part of this job however, is the culture and the people. The leaders are fantastic at keeping your confidence up and giving you every resource you need to learn quickly. They also are very generous in their investments into you and your company. As long as they see you investing in yourself/business, they devote their personal time and money into your success.  It is a large time commitment and it takes a motivated, and open minded person who is willing to invest in themselves and in starting their business, but anyone who is willing to do so, has a great opportunity to succeed. You will have to spend money to get yourself started, but that is just part of starting a business, you have to spend money to make money. However, leaders will reimburse you a good amount as you get going. Since you are an independent contractor, it is up to you how much you invest into your success, but if you follow the blueprint and put in the hours, you will do great. It's pretty amazing seeing the people who only started a month or two before you, already thriving and making bank. I can't say that I have ever been surrounded by so many people that motivate me until I began my time here, and it will boost your confidence like crazy. 

I have been associated with multiple corporations/organizations. MG Health Management goes above and beyond to help you get trained thoroughly with advising clients with their health coverage. I have NEVER been a part of a company/organization that is selfless with training their agents, they want you to succeed. You will receive first class training from the leadership at MG Health Management. If you are willing to work hard, put the hours in;  the leadership here will help your dreams come true. This is such a unique opportunity for anyone who wants to venture out into your own business. The leadership sets the appropriate opportunities and, with the right drive and focus, people can do well in this role. Full disclosure, this job is not for someone who is only looking to do the minimum and for a 9-5. You are only as successful with this opportunity as you're willing to contribute and you'll likely need to give it a couple months before you see any income (this is dependent on how comfortable you are with talking to people); however, the potential income with this opportunity is unlimited if you have the "chops". I came for the opportunity, but have found myself staying for the culture and support system. 

Everyday you come in and give it your all. I learned a lot of valuable skills in sales. Management here is actually great and it shows that they care. Workplace culture is amazing, they do a lot of group activities that help everyone get comfortable with each other. The hardest part would be adapting to a new field if you’ve never done sales but, they do a great job at getting you adjusted. The most enjoyable part of the job is when you are able to help someone find the coverage they needed.

I worked in healthcare for 12 years. I had an enormous amount of purpose and responsibility as a paramedic working on an ambulance. 12 years in I found myself in financially stressed having to work two jobs. Burned out and under appreciated by the companies I worked for. 24 hour shifts. Holidays and weekends away from family. Countless memories missed. 

I took a leap and went to an interview that changed my life. I no longer worry about purpose because I can still help people. I no longer worry about financial obligations. I no longer miss holidays spent with family. 

This will be your last career! 

What an amazing atmosphere of support and leadership in the office. I enjoy the weekly office meetings, the one-on-one mentoring and support from my leaders, and the opportunity to make money from day one while I was getting a license was ample for me considering I didn't know anything about the industry coming in! The hiring process was very easy, and the money is excellent here!

Yes, it’s a grind, but the rewards are so worth it.

Overall I cannot recommend this enough. I started this year with not a single clue what insurance really was. After training and certifications I can now say I know what I am doing and I love this place. Best environment to grow, leadership doesn't feed you a bunch of useless information, no micro-management. Overall just great people and a great place. 

Learning something new everyday and helping others at the same time is an amazing experience. You have all the support and tools here to get the fundamentals of your business going. This job is unlike anything I’ve experienced at previous employers, all my managers care about what’s going in my personal and work life to make sure I’m getting the help I need. They also invest their own time and money to help get you started. 10/10
