Potential employees BEWARE! Potential Patients, BEWARE!  
As a previous employee, I would be cautious as this place of business doesn't operate as professionally as they lead on when you interview with them. Very quickly this place becomes a high school full of cheerleaders and jocks gossiping 24/7 and doing more micromanaging than working and being concerned with the quality of work you put out. Doing your best and being good at your job, still will not keep you from being put on the chopping block and you still feel like you're walking on egg shells whether you've been there 3 days, 3 months or several years. Supervisors talk about you to other employees if you are out sick, on vacation,  or have an emergency. When asking for help, supervisors are nowhere to be found or if you are lucky and you do find one, they want to brush you off to someone else and get irritated when you pull them away from talking to their girlfriend about their night out, their kids school drama, or work drama. The other sad part about this company is that their management won't help you either because they will then gossip with the supervisors and there is no HR department that you can go to either. They watch you like a hawk when it comes to your cell phone or even talking with another employee, they will come get you in the bathroom if you are in there longer than they "think" you should be, and they will quickly ask you where you are going if you are getting up un-planned. While not being able to use our phones at work for family or emergencies, the supervisors and managers are on theirs all day on snapchat, facebook, taking pictures, videos, watching sports games live, etc. They constantly watch their cameras to see if they can catch an employee doing something wrong but the minute an employee asks them about an important issue for actual work, they disregard it. As far as doing business with them, so many times patients were incorrectly charged, claims not filed, faxes and emails not responded to, calls not returned as the employees are being told to hurry and take calls as the volume is more important to them than the quality of the call. The refunds for a patient if they are due one or over paid or charged too much, it can easily take 3 or more months for them to get a refund even if it was MSN's fault. The supervisors would pull phones calls disclosing patient information such as social, address, and DOB for "training purposes" but read the medical reports to "see what happened or what the diagnosis was" to be nosy and then gossip about it. They would also send recorded calls to employees personal emails if it were a funny call, a mad patient, or an interesting call. The phone and computer system is a joke too. The computers are constantly freezing, dropping calls, having to reboot, payment systems not working, having to keep patient's on hold because we are locked out of a payment system, etc. Overall, the employees are treated as though they are in kindergarten, and the patients are their least concern as they are too busy trying to cover their tracks when it comes people leaving unhappy reviews, employees quitting, or trying to cover up all the complaints from the BBB. They use temp agencies now to hire so that they don't have to commit to hiring someone and hold them being a temp over their head. I'm not saying don't work here, or use them as a billing company, but, you've been warned, so tread lightly.

Double standards favoritism lack of professionalism from management. When you have management that says they don't know how to boost moral there is a problem.  Not only was the work environment toxic.  We were treated like we were back in school. We had to put our cell phones in management office. Like really were all grown adults. Of you can't trust your employees with cell phones then why hire them.  Management was the only one's with cell phones.  But yet they can make personal phone calls when they wanted to. Use apps on there phones for music all the things we couldn't do. Family members being hired left and right with no room for growth. Family members were able to get away with everything but we would be fired on the spot if caught with a cell phone.  People in management positions that didn't even know there own positions let alone there own employees position.  Never could rely on management for help. When we asked our only resource for questions they would keep moving them so we aren't able to ask the only person that knows the answer.

I have been a part of the MSN  family for a year. This is definitely the best company I have ever worked for. Very flexible schedule, plenty of room for advancement, great benefits, wonderful co-workers/management/CEO, an extremely family/employee oriented company. The morale has continued to sky-rocket since I have been an employee. Everyone’s hard work is noticed; and you always feel appreciated as an employee, no matter which role you take on in the medical billing process(wether it’s a raise/bonus, provided meal, an extra break/PTO given to you, or a simple “thank you”). The same respect is given to all of the clients we have! YOU ALWAYS FEEL VALUED! You will be able to turn this job into a CAREER!

This was one of the worst jobs I’ve ever had. Call volume was overwhelming, with expectations to handle well over 100 calls a day with little to no relief. In one year alone, I personally handled more than 15,000 calls. The only recognition I received for that workload was a $30 Panera gift card.

Call queues would regularly exceed 100 callers waiting, while some members of management did not assist with taking calls at all. At the same time, there were employees in other states sitting with empty queues due to how calls were distributed. The imbalance was frustrating and exhausting.

Overall, the workload was unsustainable, support from leadership was lacking, and employee effort was not meaningfully recognized. I would not recommend working here.

Don't let it fool you. At first it seems like a dream job but after a little bit you actually start seeing the truth behind it all. My worst part I think is the training process.. Well there really wasn't any process or actual training it seems. Besides taking notes on how to operate the different systems used and one quick demonstration on a few things... Thats all you get. No reasoning or explanation to help you with what your actually doing, or what or how to look into different situations that arise. You ask your supervisor, or lead for assiatance and get vague reaponses or ill get back to you and they never do... Its crazy really.

When learning my job, I was given guidance that helped me do a better job.
The stress level was very high in the office.   
There were some relaxing moments.
I appreciated the fact that the Manager would call you to her office, instead of calling you down in front of the office employees.
At least twice a month, I would need to help at the reception desk, answering phone, take messages and also receive payment from customer, and write out payment receipt.

It's a good environment and I think people generally care about the team.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Nothing really stress is not something that should consume a soul.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
It's ok, sometimes it's not easy to know what is going on, but that's life.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
I mean wake up make some doughnuts  and go home.

The job was not hard at all! There is no room for growth here unless you’re considered to be in the ‘in crowd’. The atmosphere is very high school and cliquish. Management does not care about your growth. I worked in the same position for 8 years and watched other people come in and move up quickly. If you don’t do your job or have connections to the owners you will definitely receive a promotion. 

I have worked for this company for many years and it has gotten better over time.  You are made to feel like you are part of a big family working towards making our clients happy.  When you hear reports of clients praising the work we do, it is very satisfying and makes you enjoy going the extra mile for them.  They are very understanding if you need to take off for personal reasons and will work with you as far as flexible schedule times.

All they care about is looking good to the community but when it comes to caring for the employees they are cold.  Cameras are everywhere, even in the breakdown so when you have to make a call they listen in on private calls.  Rude co-workers get away with murder while loyal employees get shafted.  It is just like being in high school again with the favoritism.
