Freedom
Mayco pays well, but they don’t take care of the people and no one cares about each other and no one will help

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
No one gets involved and helps each other. I don’t celebrate employees or birthdays and they don’t even tell you of someone that you work with for years dies. Everyone lives in their own little glass house and worries about themselves and their own jobs and that’s it.

Very weird place, long-term people, but no one cares. What is a weird place

Hey, outside sales, drive around you call Long Prospect, San customers

Its probably the worst environment and management you'll ever encounter...if you can avoid this place...by all means DO NOT BE DECEIVED...They're racially bias and not what they perceive to be

The lies and deceit has been the most stressful

Work environment is terrible and the culture is even worse...they will lie and deceive to get anything they want

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Your days will be miserable and stressful. You will be disrespected on a daily and they're very unprofessional with the way they talk to you

I liked working there but it was very boring at times. They said we couldn't talk to other while at our machines and it was doing the same thing every day all day. The other co workers were rude and in every ones business. They kept track of my bathroom brakes and how long they were. It was almost always 100 degrees in there and had to drink a lot of water to keep from heat stroke. Thus creating the bathroom brakes. When i had become a few weeks pregnant the other employees were unwilling to help me lift anything. There was a guy who had a heat stroke and went to the hospital. They almost fired him for missing work because he didn't call in. He was almost comatose.

Free health insurance is the biggest plus

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Not a stressful job. Politics are present at any job  do what you are required to do and all is well

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Culture is made up of all walks of life. There is a family culture among employees and some members of management. 

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Typical day for me varies depending on customers demand. You have to be flexible and in tune with objective at that particular time

The pay was good. Most lower tier employees were a joy to work with.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
High drama. Poor upper management, including CEO (Todd) and CFO (Tom). Both were out for their own gain and cared little about the chaos going on around them. As long as they had theirs $$ they were golden.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Great except for upper management. Cut out that cancer? Then it would have been spectacular. Can't have it all, I suppose

I have been working for Mayco Industries for over 17 years and I can say its a great place to work, I started  as a labor in the packing area and every time a new position was opened, the management ask me if I are interest on the position. After 17+ years   I still work for the same company on a great department and with a better position.
 To all this, I can add that Mayco always worries about competitive training and the safety for all employees. 

During my time here I have learned quite a bit. The plant in the summer months is quite hot but hydration stations are available and encouraged. The rules are plain and for our safety and well being. This is a lead (Pb) manufacturing facility we have to have rules. Great place to be if you work hard and follow the rule and regulations.

Learning new things nd learning how to run new machines

The heat is the only hard part and wearing all the gear and safety equipment

It’s great. Very clean, and everyone helps one another

Hard working. Getting stuff loaded and unloaded

Great place to work, full benefits and alot of work "plenty overtime". If your looking for a place to work and make a living this is the place. NOT a place for slackers. You work with a team and they expect your production to finish their jobs in a timely fashion. Usually the people complaining are slacking im just saying lol. and clean shaving on beard is a must with blood drawing every 2 months. not good if you hate needles

When I started here, and in some ways, I saw that improvements wanted to be made. Little hesitation that they will be made in time. More focus on training the team and setting the expectation, and following through with them. A bit of a culture shock in that more straightforward and efficient way of doing things but they were not accepted.
