The SNE position when I began working was CNA/Tech work with no ability to perform skills although proven competency through nursing school. The position has shifted into two tiers, I and II with the ability to perform skills now as long as competency has been checked off on through employee education. I started this position in the middle of the Corona Virus and staffing/patient ratios were a nightmare. The unit I am on has been nothing short of amazing and very supportive. The pay was extremely low when I first started but they have readjusted this year to match market value. 

I love what I do but I don’t love being micromanaged as though I don’t know how to do my job. There is a lack of trust in employees and we know this due to excessive emails and shadowing. There is a lot of negativity as well. It’s hard to be positive when your peer dishes out negative comment after negative comment.
The benefits are nice, although some benefits are being taken away due to management changes.
You get discounts at the gift shop, cafeteria, and subway which is nice. 

While working at Med Center Health offered valuable experience, the environment was extremely toxic. Drama and cliques were a constant issue, making it difficult to focus on the job or feel like part of a team. Favoritism was common, and management often turned a blind eye to unprofessional behavior. Instead of fostering growth and collaboration, the culture felt more like high school than a healthcare setting. The actual work itself was manageable, and the patients made it worthwhile, but the constant tension and lack of accountability made it a draining place to work.

Where I currently work at, the environment is great but hasn't always been everywhere in the organization. My direct manager is wonderful and fosters growth, but once again not true of all of the managers here. The pay is horrible. At Med Center Health, they pay you bottom dollar and in return they expect you to do many different roles and jobs. It is also hard to advance here as Med Center Health favors external candidates. I have been passed over many times for jobs that I have been more than qualified for.

Since I have to pick something their pay has increased so not bad

Management is friends with other employees  they even allowed husbands and wives to work together and they gang up on other employees.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
I worked in diagnostic scheduling and the work environment was Hostile. When I spoke up they got me out of there.

Few of the coworkers, autonomy

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Toxic coworkers, micromanagement, favoritism, more concerned with financial aspect. 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
One sided, chaos, toxic at times

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
Most days are wide open, short staffed or others concerned with your workload.

This job was pretty good. It was difficult at first but my training definitely helpful. How much help you received really depended on who you were working with. Most were helpful when we got busy, but some registration clerks would skip rooms or not help at all. Management didn't seem to do anything about this. Overall though, still a decent place to work. 

This job does not compensate well as compared to other employees. The work load is overwhelming and the environment is very condescending and toxic, with frequent quarrels between coworkers.

None. It’s expected to busy it is a hospital

Too relaxed patient care should be top focus

Busy. Ensuring I’m equipped with everything I need to run a successful shift

I have worked in a few different jobs in a few different positions.  Most of the managers are good and care about the employees and want to be able to work with you when needed.  I have always felt like I had a great group of coworkers who cared about me.
