You literally make your own schedule and can pick up at different facilities. I love that if I go to a facility and work my shift and I end up not liking that facility I don’t have to return or pick up any shifts there. I can gladly go to another facility. The pay is phenomenal and really I’ve never had any issues with the management team or my paychecks. Pay is every Friday and that is also really nice. I also love that I can reach out to the schedulers via text at anytime and they will respond quickly to anything I need whether it’s questions, concerns or just asking them to check for specific shifts available at my favorite facilities. It’s very family friendly and work life balance is amazing. Med1Care is a great place to work for. It’s good to know I work for a company who actually cares about its employees. 

A typical workday day consist of seeing patients that I scheduled the night before addressing any health Concerns updating physicians and providing patient care in which best meets my patient’s needs.
I have learned that there are many environments in which a nurse can provide care, and make a difference!
Management has been unbelievably supportive, educating and patient as a new employee helping me to learn and grow as I provide care for patients in their home. 
My workplace environment has been very diverse and open. Working with and caring for many patients of different culture and background.
The hardest part of my job is meeting a new client who has been Struggling to find resources for healthcare while living at home with their loved ones…… But it’s rewarding to be the one who comes to their rescue! That’s also the most enjoyable part of my job! Because there is no place like home!!

My time as a non-emergent medical transport EMT was a positive experience. The work environment was generally great, fostering a relaxed and chill atmosphere. The people I worked with were easygoing, which significantly contributed to a good overall work experience.

While the role focused on non-emergency transport, it provided valuable experience in patient interaction and basic medical care. The pace allowed for building rapport with patients and honing essential skills in a less stressful setting than emergency response.

This job would be well-suited for someone looking to gain experience in the medical field, particularly those who appreciate a supportive and laid-back work environment. It offered a consistent schedule and the opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives by ensuring they reached their appointments safely and comfortably. Overall, it was a good job.

I never knew what clients I needed to see when I walked in the door every morning. The charts were frequently lost, never updated, too many clients for one nurse to see, Due to such poor pay and very little mileage reimbursement the majority of the nurses were not of good quality and if they were they didn't stay very long. I was given the position of DON to clean up years of this mess and I was expected to do it in a month. After one month of this non stop stress I ended up with a quadruple bypass but insisted of returning to work one month following my surgery due to the mess that was in this office. I was replace as DON a month later and went back as a field nurse.

My favorite part about this job is the people that I work for it's really really hard not to get attached to the people that you work for. They make things work for you they're flexibility is amazing I told them that I needed a job in a certain area and they was able to get me one in less than a day. I didn't have I had to work 2 weeks before I got my first paycheck which helps because I was able to put money on my bills the ladies that I met who interviewed me and hired me for the job or sweet as possible on top of the simple aspect that they helped me find my job somewhere close to my vicinity because I couldn't find it at that moment and they stayed on the phone with me until I made it to the right place this job is amazing

This is a great company to work for! Management is even amazing and understanding with anything! They work with you more than any company i have worked for before. It is relaxed. If you like to go to work and get your job done and go home without anyone breathing down your back. This is for you. They work with your availability. If you are wanting to be PRN, Part-time, or Full-time. I'm never asked to work ridiculous hours or time that i am not paid for. I have been paid on time and right every time. They also do great side incentives on their Facebook page! You can win gift cards. They appreciate you as other companies lack that!! Not everyone is made to do this type of work as you can see. But if you are, this is a great company to be with and build with!!! If i could give more than 5 stars i would!

A typical day at work depends on who you have for a client and what you need to do for them. Another thing is that for a client it ranges from how many days and certain hours that the home health aide or a nurse needs to be with the client.

What I have learned is that everything is done with teamwork. If you are not sure about the client, then you are able to call work and ask either the nurse or the supervisor about it.

Management is done efficiently. Not only do they answer over the phone but the supervisor emails you with the clients information as well of the paperwork that we need about the client. 

The hardest part of the job is when a client passes away. No one likes it when it happens. 

The most enjoyable part of the job is that you have one on one care with the client and I love that aspect of the job.

Had to pay upfront money for tests etc. I never got paid on time, if at all. Everyone seems to be good at pointing fingers at someone else when they screw up. This company is notorious in this area for unorganized and rude office staff.I wouldn't recommend this nightmare of a place to anyone looking for a job. I would NEVER let this company oversee the care of my loved one. This company could be great with a major overhaul first. The potential of this company is great but isn't noticed by anyone higher up. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. It's expected of you to drive to a client's home and leave within a specified time then return the same day a couple hours later. No mileage reimbursement and makes it tough with gas prices so high. Again, a major overhaul is desperately needed.

Working as an STNA with Med1Care has been an unforgettable ride! From day one, the team has been communicative and helpful. The work can be tough, but it's so rewarding knowing you’re truly making a difference. You never know the difference you can make until you put yourself in the shoes of the resident/patient. 
The variety of shifts is a game-changer for balancing life, and the pay reflects the effort you put in. I am one with a lot of other commitments and I am able to pick shifts that work with my schedule. To me, it is not about the job or the pay, it is about the people. Although the other two components certainly help along the journey.
 

I love working with my ladies. I get the pleasure of going into their homes and helping with things that are difficult or impossible for them to do. I love seeing the smiles on their faces when I walk in. I also love thinking of ways to make their home life more easy and functional for them.
The hardest part of my job, is leaving them when I clock out. Seems like I can always think of something extra to do.
I have learned a lot as far as things to do in emergencies. 
Med1 Office staff and management are always friendly,  and they work with you great on your scheduling needs.
They have great benefits for full time employees,  and the work culture is equally good.
