What is the best part of working at the company?
I had a disappointing experience with Med-Pro Healthcare Staffing and would not recommend it as a workplace.

I was employed for less than 90 days and was ultimately let go due to performance metrics, despite still being in the training phase. I did not feel I was given a fair opportunity to fully learn the role or demonstrate my capabilities before being evaluated at that level.

During my time there, my direct manager was out on leave, and there appeared to be no structured plan in place to ensure proper onboarding or continued support. As a result, the training I received was minimal and lacked the guidance necessary to succeed. The manager who was present on the floor did not provide proactive support—there were no consistent check-ins, coaching sessions, or reviews of my pipeline to help me improve or stay on track.

Additionally, the workplace culture raised concerns. There were instances of unprofessional behavior, including employees speaking negatively about others, which created an uncomfortable environment. While the company promotes competitive pay and attractive benefits, the workload and expectations did not reflect a healthy work-life balance.

Overall, my experience felt disorganized and lacking in support, especially for someone still in training. Based on my experience, I would encourage others to carefully consider these factors before applying.

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
Horrible no fair time to show you can accomplish the job

There are 2 Recruiter teams, one led by a Manager whose race is a minority, the other team is led by a Manager that is not a minority. Ask me why is the team led by the minority Manager made up of 95% minorities and the team led by the other Manager made up of 95% Caucasian people? It is the most blatant obvious difference that is noticed in the entire office. The company promotes culture and togetherness, yet the teams are racially divided. Not to mention there is so much descension between both teams and is never discussed. In today's climate, this has to change immediately. The CEO doesn't care to get to know or even speak to you if you are not making money for the company. I understand that the CEO is busy and cannot get to know everyone, but don't promote that you "love and care" about everyone because that's not the case. You only "love and care" and want to get to know about the people that make you money. I have seen countless good sales people come and go and it's very unfortunate because their metrics can be misleading. They expect you to hit certain goals but don't take into account "real life" situations that come with the position which may not allow that to happen all the time. They don't care, they will let you  go, pay money to train the next group, and continue the same cycle. Please stay clear away from this place if you are looking for a career......It's awful

MedPro has it's pros and cons, just like any other company.  However, over the years, the cons seem to have rapidly overshadowed the pros. This used to be a fun place to work at and it seemed like a good company to work for.  However, leadership doesn't lead very well and the new hires seem to be getting younger and less experienced each time. Unfortunately, the turn over rate is high, which has lowered the morale to an all-time low.  Staff doesn't feel secure, even if they are working hard & putting in the work.  There are a lot of cliques at the office.  Many of the people in these cliques are either family-related or very close friends to the CEO.  The Directors, Managers, and Supervisors do not practice discretion & are unprofessional. There is a lot of fraternizing between the "hire-ups" & the "lower" staff, which has led to feelings of mistrust & unfairness amongst those who are not a part of these inner circles. There is a lot more that can be said about MedPro that isn't as flattering as they may like to read in a review.  However, my suggestion would be to really take into account what employees say in their exit interviews and in these posted reviews and make the necessary changes. Don't dismiss or deny these truths by posting a ton of fake "positive" reviews to push the negative ones out of sight.

One of the best if not the best company I have ever worked for. MedPro truly cares about their employees and it shows. All departments will go out of their way to help you any way they can. My nurse recruiter is by far the best. He worked diligently on finding me the right travel contacts that were the best fit for me, and  went to bat for me to get the best possible pay. They stay in contact with employees on a very regular basis to make sure everything is going well and to see if anything is needed. They show appreciation to their employees often with positive reinforcement, frequent praise for a job well done,  gifts, whether it's a gift card, or a care package. They take the time to get to know their nurses and that also shows in the in the rewards they give. I am proud to be part of this wonderful company. 

The problem with this company is the office culture that surrounds it. It is exactly what you would see in any high-school drama. The obvious cliques in the office, and if you weren't friends with these people you just sort of fell to the side. Don't expect to feel valued from the higher-ups (that you interact with on almost a daily basis) when you first start, that will only come after you put months and months into the position. There are always eyes watching you even when you least expect it, which just makes you feel so incredibly uncomfortable and makes you feel micromanaged.

Also, don't expect to be able to speak up/defend for yourself if you don't agree with something, in reason and respectfully of course. This company will refer to it as "pushback" and get rid of you as quickly as they reached out to hire you. They do not value work performance over your concerns, as they abuse the 90-day new-hire policy. There is a reason why this company is always hiring, and it's because there is a very high level of turnover.


The company provides a solid overall experience with a balanced mix of strengths and areas for growth. Employees often appreciate the supportive team environment and clear expectations, which help create a stable and productive workplace. Communication from leadership is generally consistent, and there is a noticeable effort to keep staff informed and engaged. The company also offers opportunities to develop skills, especially for individuals who are proactive and willing to take initiative.
However, there are some challenges that could be improved. Processes can sometimes feel slow or overly structured, which may impact efficiency and employee momentum. Additionally, opportunities for advancement may not always be clearly defined, leaving some employees wanting more transparency around career growth.
Overall, the company is a reliable place to work with a positive culture, but it would benefit from streamlining operations and enhancing career development pathways to better support long-term employee satisfaction.

A typical day at MedPro typical comes with a large dose of favoritism and ingrouping. If you are not in the "In group" you are always on the chopping block. 

The turnover at this firm is very high which leads to a lack in job security.

Managers are selected not based on merit, but based on favoritsm

MedPro was always changing policy which caused tons of confusion. The managers did poorly at communicating the changes which only lead to more confusion.

The Director of HR was known for singling out and retaliating against employees. If she didn't like you, or someone she liked didn't, you are most definitely singled out and ultimately fired.

One thing I have definitely learned that we were in an interview. Don’t matter how stressed out you are to get a job. Take the time to switch it around because that job interview is you’re also interviewing them. I got catfish by this agency they will put you in a situation where  there is not enough staff, you got patience all over that hospital and you were in a ICU and you got two rapids and you’re getting bitched out by your manager because you didn’t get to do some of your last rounds for level two Hospital, but also to this agency sent license professional people to a hospital that is not accredited. This is a knockout version of Vivian. 

What is the best part of working at the company?
This company is great to work for. They advocate for their nurses. I have enjoyed my contracts with them. They have great benefits, and incentives. I have, and will continue to recommend this company to my associates.

What is the most stressful part about working at the company?
Works by for this company does not provide any stress. It’s a stress free environment 

What is the work environment and culture like at the company?
This company provide support,and information to help the nurses in the field.

What is a typical day like for you at the company?
A typical day is going to work. With peace of mind. Not been stressed out .

Money was a bit better than a lot of the (bad) companies
out there but they could honestly care less about their
employees!  Many issues at my assignment but they would
NOT listen to me when I tried to tell them.  Even had a
manager there who knew I was in the RIGHT and offered
to speak to my company about this.... I was completely
ignored then suddenly my contract was ended.  Would
NOT return my calls nor give me an explanation!

Some companies forget that WE provide their paychecks!

(The issue at my facility.... turns out I was the ONLY person
who EVER bothered to check for instrument set sterility there!)
